Will DeRuve is a 2008 SS/3B from Bethlehem Central HS, residing in Delmar, New York, with a 6'2"/185 pound frame. Will has a solid frame. He hits from a slightly open stance and closes well. DeRuve has a line drive approach with solid hands and uses the whole field. He needs to stay on top of the ball and imcrease his bat speed. Will has soft hands in the infield with a low 3/4 release. He has an accurate arm at 71 mph with a solid release. DeRuve needs to be more aggressive defensively and improve his arm strength. He is a good student.
