Eric Debelak is a 2008 OF/MIF with a 5'10'', 165 lb. frame from Torrance, California, who attends Bishop Montgomery High School. Debelak has a lean and athletic frame. Defensively he moves well to the ball and covers ground in the outfield. Debelak has a quick arm that helps produce 81 mph throws, and his throws are accurate. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from an average base with a leg lift trigger. Debelak has a nice left handed swing. He shows bat speed through the zone with a line drive swing plane. His hands travel through the zone well, and he stays inside the ball with the ability to hit to all fields. He also gets good extension out front. Debelak showed better athleticism in game action than his sixty time might suggest.
