The 2014 PG Super25 16U/2016 Grads Mid-Atlantic Qualifier will be held in Staten Island, NY, May 31-Jun 1, 2014. This tournament is for teams eligible to play in the 16u age division for the 2013-2014 National Championship season and players must meet the age limit criteria.

Qualifier tournaments are a great way to start your team’s journey to the PG Super25. All teams participating in a qualifier are also eligible to play in super regionals. Only teams from the designated region or the bordering regions are eligible to participate in the Qualifiers and Regionals.
PG Super25 Mission

Age Eligibility: All players must have been born after April 30, 1997.

Bat Type: Metal bats only.
In age bracket 9u to 13u, there will be bat restrictions to BPF 1.15.
In the 14u to 17u age brackets, metal bats need to be BBCOR.

Coolers: Not Allowed

Entry Fee: $750    

Game Guarantee: 3 (weather permitting)

Format: Pool play followed by single elimination

Advancement: Qualifying teams will advance to the 2014 PG Super25 2016 Grads or 16u Mid-Atlantic Regional. Teams who do not advance to the regional are still eligible to play in another qualifier and/or any of the five 16u Super Qualifiers

Tournament Format - There are three 4-team brackets.  All teams will play three pool games within their bracket.  The 3 bracket winners plus 1 wild card team will advance to the playoff round on Sunday.  Refer to the PG Super25 rules for the tiebreaker guidelines.
