Good series win on the road for the Gamecocks. Now bring on the Commodores.

Is it SEC practice to reschedule these cancelled games?

I do not believe so.

I agree Hedge. It's too easy to just say the other team got the lucky bounce.

After starting 0-4, LSU, Vandy, and SC have all won to bring the SEC's record to 3-4 so far.

Miss. St is leading 5-2 over Central Arkansas
Arkansas is tied 1-1 with Bryant

Sure hope Arkansas didn't waste all of their energy complaining about not hosting a regional.

Time to separate the men from the boys.

I, for one, am glad Clemson lost yesterday. First, I'm a Gamecock fan. Second, now ESPN has to televise the SC vs Liberty game tonight (which undoubtedly is not what they intended). Hopefully the selection committee will stop sending the lousy tiggers to our regional every year.

I thought the Saturday game between LSU and South Carolina this year had an attendance of 12, 300 something. They said on the tv broadcast that is was the greatest attendance on record, and while I don't remember the exact number they did say it was more than 12,085.

SEC went 8-1 on day 2. Now, 12-6 overall.

Only SEC to be eliminated so far is Florida, and no one is shedding any tears over the Gators.

I just checked SC's website and they have the attendance for the Saturday game listed as 12,727. Just FYI

Suck it Clemson. Lost to Liberty for the second time in three days. I bet the selection committee and ESPN are upset that they didn't get their dream matchup between Clemson and SC.

Enjoy your ice cream.

SEC lays an Egg

Well, things certainly could have gone better for SEC teams than they have so far. However, I'm still not sure the SEC has done as poorly as some national pundits and fans of teams in other conferences would like to make it seem.

Only 8 teams get to Omaha, so it's not like all 9 SEC teams in the postseason were going to make it. Furthermore, I really only expected LSU, Vandy, and potentially South Carolina and/or Arkansas to make it to Omaha.

I think the SEC is still in good position to be well represented in Omaha and make a strong push for claiming another National Title. (Although I will say I have been VERY impressed with Cal St. Fullerton so far.)

The Gamecocks sweep their Regional to advance to the Super Regional. Even though it happened on day 4, technically, it was supposed to happen yesterday had it not been for the rain.

Congratulations to Liberty for playing great throughout the Regional.
