Geat to see the Beavs and particularly Matt Boyd, getting back in the groove. I remember the year before last when the Beavs hit the number 2 ranking and then they fell apart down the stretch and ended up losing the last 3 games of the year to the Dicks. I can tell that my Power of Positive Thinking approach has directly helped the Beavs tonight.

Andrew Moore is coming into a 13-5 game...do people still not get my beef with Yeskie?

I'm sure he has a very sound strategy for this move.

Yours truly, Happy Beaver Bob.

Okay...I'm a bit confused. Is not Moore the alleged starting pitcher tomorrow? Maybe Jace is ready to pitch? Anyone have any ideas? (other than the one where Yeskie gets fired)

They don't want to disrupt Moore's routine entirely by not pitching him at all, but this way he pitches three innings and can leave at any time. Next week he'll be fresh. Why is that so hard to figure? And they brought him into face USD's beast Kris Bryant, who skied out. And now struck him out in his second at bat.

Tomorrow will probably be Wetzler, who has been our number 3 for the last few weeks. With Schultz ready to go long if Benny runs into trouble.

Okay...then why not put in Boyd last night? I really do not like some of these choices. Confusing.

Tonight is Boyd's regular night. He will have his full six days' rest when he starts next week. Moore pitches a couple innings tonight, light duty, and he gets a full seven days' rest.

The question is who will start against Portland Tuesday?

There is nothing "routine" about what Yeskie has done this week. Moore has been the Game 2 (saturday) starter all season. Our Day 3 starters have been extremely shaky. No point in wasting Moore tonight with an 8 RUN LEAD!

Beavers are distancing themselves from the field in RPI (0.022 from 2nd, between 2nd and 3rd is 0.002) and ISR (2.2 from 2nd, between 2nd and 3rd is 0.3), SOS now at 24...for comparisons sake North Carolina is 181!

We are starting to get to a point in the season where these figures are beginning to normalize and mean something.

the hell was that, i still think that "infield hit" was an error on keyes so two errors on him way too many wp only one hit in my book. and 6 runs.... basically gave them 5 outs

Keyes' defensive play this series has been atrocious. True, he grabbed a couple of hard-hit grounders, but the throws, man.

Now we're behind 9-2. Frickindiculous.

barring a miracle comeback that RPI number is going to drop a bit, and so is our rankings will be lucky to be in top 10

Yeah, looks like they are over rated.. just like I have been saying all along. At least we got beat by two top teams (national seed types) Worried we may have to play the front runner role. Darn.

Can't wait to read up what kendall comes up with. He has been pretty much leaving the ducks in the dust. I really believe the beavs my go into their famous tail spin they did a few years ago. That was a fun time to be a duck fan.

Beavs aren't overrated...haha, 24 SOS (and rising after today). Just a **** poor weekend from Yeskie and our defense. We should still be #1 RPI/ISR tomorrow. Are the ducks going to limp through another game against lowly UW?

There is a reason the Ducks have been left in the dust.
