Borguy, we'll be in Section G, row e, down the third base line. Ophiman doesn't know it right now, but I'll be going with his wife on Sunday.

For your edification:

The term Section 8 refers to a category of discharge from the United States Military when judged mentally unfit for service. It also came to mean any serviceperson given such a discharge or behaving as if deserving such a discharge, as in the expression, "he's a Section 8". The term comes from Section VIII of the World War I era United States Army Regulation 615-360, which provided for the discharge of those deemed unfit for military service

The Beavs are the class of the PAC this year...congrats to the Beaver nation for a nice sweep to start league play. OSU is a really balanced team and confident. The rest of the PAC has a lot of parity and every series will be well fought. Expecting Andy Lopez will fire up the cats for a series in Eugene and the starting pitching and run production will be back to where it should be. Exiting games this weekend in both baseball and hoops in the PAC.

We got some first-timers this week, yet we are below last week's numbers. Still four people who played last week who have yet to get their votes in.

BTW, who is "Guest"? I wish PG would remove that quick reply button. It doesn't log your name (that we can see). Rowdy, if that was you, claim your picks. If it was someone else, well, it won't count until you name yourself.

Pick analysis

This is a week of extremes: Four of the six picks are unanimous.
  • Wazzu is most heavily favored team, 15-0 with 13 sweeps over Brown.
  • Stanford is close behind getting a vote of 15-0 with 12 sweeps over Utah.
  • Oregon State is 15-0 with 6 sweeps over Arizona State.
  • And the fourth 15-0 team is UCLA over Cal with 4 sweeps.
The last two, which are closer, are interesting and not the obvious choices.
  • Washington is favored over USC, 10-5. USC got 1 vote for a sweep. This one could go either way.
  • And the closest series is Arizona 10-5 over the Ducks. Each team got 1 vote for a sweep.

I'd like to see Conforto take one of Trevor William's snow balls downtown.

Even though I picked UCLA to sweep Cal, it is nice to see Cal win. Maybe now Kendall will move the Beavs into at least 4th in the PG poll. Maybe even third seeing as how Vandy has dropped two in a row.

Thought the Arizona schools where going to put up a fight. Oregon schools are playing their normal ball. Happy cj is being dominant. Tj surgery is rough. Impressed how Horton is nursing him along. Feeling lousy I voted for the ducks to lose this series.

Geez.....I thought I saw something where someone said something about not picking your team...or something like that. You remember anything like that RD?
