Aztecs finally score after 21 scoreless innings. Looks like Beavs may make a pitching change already. What's up with that?

D1Baseball.com usually provides the home team's link for stats. For SDSU, that means one of those Duck-type game tracking apps. Not my favorite.

Beavs pull Bauer after a 2-out walk in the second inning. I wish they would have been that quick to pull Cole Broeker last year. The Beavs may have tied for the league championship and got a better seed.

Yeah, quick hook. But I like it. We have a bunch of guys elbowing for that number four spot. Give them all a chance, but don't tolerate mistakes. That first inning one-out, four-pitch walk scored. Not good. Now a two-out walk and a runner is suddenly in scoring position.

No complaining, given the score, but we are leaving some runs on the table. Too many runners lost at third and at home.

That was a close one in the B7, but Scott Schultz gets the Beavers out of a jam, and the Beaver bullpen has yet to give up a single earned run in nine games so far. That's 29 innings by my count, and they could reach 31 if they hold today.
