Well, you are a duck fan, so la la land is pretty much where you stay, no? The vicodin just makes it SEEM real to you.

Aaron Fitt is in attendance (is that OK to say here?), full of complimentary tweets. Barring an 8-run b9 to go to extra innings, 5-0 will feel real good.

Great night. Beavs win and so does LMU. Looks like Pac 12 had a good night overall.

I had 5 pulled out at once! The bad part is I played french horn (it eventually became my job for about 8 years)... pretty much the most incompatible activity with oral surgery because of the insane focused pressure it uses.

Marching band, Benny! I played drums in high school plus one year on the CSUN Matador Marching Band, but I also played trumpet and french horn before that, in grade school. So you played horn professionally? Like in an orchestra? (Can only think of one other option....)

8 years in an Army band. My last 3, I switched to Reserves and also joined the OSU Marching Band and the Horn Ensemble, but to my instructor's dismay, I retired from professional playing and decided to only have fun from now on. I did a few orchestra concerts at OSU... my last one, I did an off-stage horn call with the horn instructor, but my view of the conductor was obstructed, so I had to watch the instructor's breathing to know when to start and stop. Then I sightread the 9th Horn part on stage. Almost as fun as a good baseball game! He tried to get me to switch my major and not give up the career, but I needed to move on, so now it is just a fun hobby instead of my life.

Just trying to look out for our friend RD. I did a little research on Duck Tongues. I've included an excerpt from the article and the link to the article if you are so compelled to read more.

Duck tongue?" my housemate asked with her eyebrows furled. "I didn't know ducks had tongues!"
For duck-tongue novices, the nature of the organ can elicit both confusion and curiosity. Why do ducks even possess tongues? Do they need them to quack?
For lovers of the delicacy, the question as to what makes the organ so prized is a no-brainer. Surrounded by a faint hint of meat and papery thin layers of cartilage, duck tongue is predominately a vehicle for juicy pockets of fat. At barely two inches in length, the tongue may seem small and insubstantial, but its flavor is intensely ducklike. When freshly fried, duck tongues are positively addicting with a crisp surface and a creamy, slightly fatty interior that melts in your mouth.

"a crisp surface and a creamy, slightly fatty interior "

Kinda sounds like one might describe Oregon's sugar daddy.
