So far, Mississippi State getting shut out 5-0 by Samford. MSU was allegedly the next #1 seed behind Miami?

Extra innings. In the 13th now....
So who will be the first #1 seed to lose a game? Rice is tied with Prairie View A&M 2-2 in the 5th. They are one of two I am picking to lose their regionals, but I was expecting them to lose to Arkansas. If they aren't the first #1 to lose a game, I'm gonna go with Miami.

Kent State takes a 6-5 lead in the top of the 18th! Three outs away.

Kentucky evened it at 6-6 in the bottom of the 18th and they are now in the 21ST INNING. Don't know what the record is in the super regional era, but this must be getting close.
Miami is behind Stony Brook 6-2 in the 8th. But it looks like Miami got beat getting beaten by a 4 seed by Baylor, who was beaten by Oral Roberts 4-2. Baylor, the first #1 to lose a game. Miami will probably end up second.

I would assume LSU being higher seed and playing in their own park get 'home' throughout, but not sure, i seem to recall the beavs being 'visitor' for a game in last years regional despite hosting

LSU will be home team tomorrow, but not for their third game if they win tomorrow night. The 2-0 winner plays visitor for its third game and, if they lose that one, will be home team for the final game.
Tony Brook is up on the Canes 9-2 in the top of the 9th. I SOOO want to beat LSU. If we do, we're in Omaha.

D1baseball.com calls the 21-inning affair the 2nd longest game in NCAA Tournament history.
Texas vs Boston College a couple years ago was the longest, 25 innings.

I'd like to repay LSU for the 2004 loss in the opening day of the football season. We still owe them for that. I do believe this is the first head-to-head since that 1 point loss.

Baylor and Miami are the biggest surprise losses today, and Oregon just skinned by Austin Peay.

Thorpe showed his freshman colors tonight.. Sherfy did just enough. I think the monkey is off our back. Confidence is back. To come back in that situation.. you do not know how many times I have watched the ducks just pack it in. Teams of past, if they were down in the 6th inning, then you knew they were going to lose. This year, they have figured to put that behind them and treat each inning as a new opportunity. Duck would have been so in trouble if they lost that first one. I say the big variable is Brando Tessar. If he throws, which he was sick.. he could be the push this staff needs. I don't see us winning this regional without a postive effort by Tessar. If CJ comes in.. look out.. (lol) edited by Riverduck on 6/1/2012

Oregon deserved to lose, they got a very bad call at the end of the game for the win...even the horrible extremely biased duck announcers thought so, it's a shame they would've been the laughing stock of baseball...being a deserved, lol, national seed and all. That duck team is extremely over rated!

They are slumping right now.. Take it easy. I don't see the beavs making it out of their regional.
