Fullerton hands down - Ramirez, Pill, O'Connell and Floethe! No one has that much depth...

Fullerton and Florida with Vandy probably coming in at 3. I'd say UCLA and TCU are there too.

Oregon is going to show their stuff as well. Anderson just threw a 14 strikeout 6 hit shutout. 2nd and 3rd 5th inning- strikes out the side.. sick. Moen closed it out. Boer is up on sat, and has thrown 15.2 innings of shutout 6 hits ball no runs allowed.. earned or unearned. 1 game he threw a 1 hitter, broken up by an all American.. Jones, Mcgough.. We will only get better.

I'm biased, but the Virginia and Florida State pitching staffs should be in the conversation. Danny Hultzen and Tyler Wilson are as good as any Friday/Saturday starters in the nation. Both teams have great ERA's so far.

Also, I would argue that Virginia has the best pitching coach in America in Karl Kuhn. As a Virginia fan I am somewhat expecting him to be some schools next head coach.

Noe Ramirez 1 hits USC after Floethe 3 hits hot LMU on Tuesday!!! Fullerton has 4 studs. Florida is close, TCU also but Fullerton has the best 4 starters so far with 1.60 era.

Agreed, Fullerton but UCLA is very talented along with TCU. Florida is right up there as well. This discussion could take an interesting twist come late April, however.

If I had to pick one staff I'd put my money on UCLA.

UCLA is talented especially the Fri and Sat guys but across the board Fullerton is better...Pill just threw a 7 innings of 3 hits against USC. Now here comes Colin O'Connell for Sunday 1.29 no walks in 14 innings...and then Floethe 2.13 on Tuesday. Problem with UCLA NO OFFENSE at all...no room for pitchers mistakes 17 k's and a no decision...

O'Connell was nails again today. 0 R and 2 H with 0 BB in 8 IP with the only run unearned after a two base error by Kingsolver on a single to CF in the 8th putting a runner on 3rd who scored on a what would have been a 6-4-3 DP. He had the sinker working with 14 ground ball outs. He only needed 70 or so pitches to go 8 IP and Serrano brought in Nick to finish off the game with 3 of 4 batters scheduled to come up LH hitters and he allowed a hit and struck out the side.

Plutko has got a lower ERA then either Cole or Bauer. Vander Tuig, Weiss and Griggs have all looked solid as well. You cannot tell me Fullerton is better across the board pitching wise.

Just checked out UCLA stats, very impressive! Who is their week day start Triggs??? They have more power arms but not better pitching than Fullerton. Fullerton can just pitch period. Look at their walk/K ratio!!!
