Probably unlikely by the end of the season Stanford ends up in Baton Rouge, but the Cardinal had to go somewhere with those West Coast regionals loaded up.

If Oregon State and Oregon both host with 1 being a national seed would the committee automatically pair those 2 regionals for super regionals?

That's why what Kendall did here is brilliant. We'll see how good Purdue is when they travel to UCLA in a few weeks, but sending OSU there as a #2 paired with Oregon as a #1 sets up a Civil War Super Regional about as nicely as one could hope for.

I wouldn't bet against Heefner and DBU, the nation saw what they are capable of last year!

No doubt. I'm so high on Dan Heefner as a head coach. Tremendous offensive mind, but just a great guy and coach in general. Now, the question, how long can DBU keep him there? Have to believe he'll be strongly in the mix when a Big 12 job comes open at some point.
