Kendall, no national seed projection for LSU, a sweep at home over the then No. 3 Razorbacks, and a road series win over then No. 1 Gators.... The tigers are playing as well as anyone in the nation, I know it is the halfway point, but I certainly think the tigers have solidified a top 8 ranking at this point. Is there something I am missing?

LSU is right there with Miami as the last team out of the top eight national seeds. I love the fact LSU has a 5-1 record vs. RPI Top 25 teams, but the Tigers also are 9-7 vs. RPI Top 50 and just 10-7 vs. RPI Top 100, which isn't too great. The Tigers, as with Miami, will rise up the pecking order with another strong weekend.
