Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this seem pointless? The article on that link comments how the current stadium only had 1,200 seats and couldn't accommodate a regional which was the driving force behind this project. Looking at the renders of the new stadium it doesn't seem like it has much more than 1,200 seats...I'm assuming the BIG concrete slabs behind the seats accommodate the possibility of hosting a regional...still couldn't they have just added lights to the old field and saved a bunch of money? Last years attendance for home games:
Home attendance : 7199 (32 dates avg = 224)
