What is the criteria for being invited to one of the Perfect Top Prospect Showcases? Is it considered an honor to be selected or are players accepted until the event is full?

Sorry for the delayed response, it's a busy time of year for us. Top Prospect events are not open to everyone, we try to reserve spots for players that have a shot at playing at the next level (anything from Junior College up to Division I/Pro Ball and everything in between).
This is not to say that we only take potential first rounders, as the goal is to allow potential college/pro players to showcase themselves to prospective schools. On occasion, high level underclass players are invited to play up in a TP event, these are very talented players who are looking for an opportunity to show that they can compete and succeed against higher level competition.
If a player is interested in a Top Prospect showcase that we haven't seen it helps to send a reference contact of a coach or scout that is familiar with his ability level. Often we're able to find information about a player from contacts in their area, but we're always interested in finding reliable information about players.
The criteria is not extremely strict but with limited roster space we try to reserve spots for players that will be able to get the most out of the opportunity. Hope that helps.
