2 Virginia Regional vs TCU Regional
3 Vandy Regional vs Arizona State Regional
4 SC Regional vs Georgia Tech Regional
5 UNC Regional vs Rice Regional
6 Texas Regional vs Oregon State Regional
7 Florida State Regional vs Fullerton Regional
8 Texas A&M Regional vs UCLA Regional

The 4 Texas state regionals could be matched up but then if all 4 west coast hosts win they would have to travel east of the Mississippi. I'm thinking the 2 Texas regional hosts will travel east shortening the trips for 2 of the west coast hosts. What does the rest of the board think?

Posts: 127 		TCU has no shot at a National Seed so I don't understand the reasoning 'as a TCU fan'. In all honesty, the committee has found ways to stir up discussions each year with some of the decisions they make, and it's POSSIBLE that the committee does give 3 NS to Texas, but I think the committee is going to take the 'easy road' so to speak and pair Rice/A&M for Supers.

Chartering a flight is going to cost roughly the same thing. I don't see the NCAA giving 3 Super Regionals to Texas at the expense of FSU or GT to save a few hundred miles on a charter flight.

If they were going to do something for geography wouldn't they be able to give ASU a seed and then pair them with UCLA (as a #2 seed that would be ok) and be under 400 miles and they could be bussed?

Posts: 51 		We are all guessing what the NCAA will do and none of us know for sure. Usuallly, one crazy seed a year that doesn't make sense.
