The tightness of the SEC West. I was surprised by MSU getting a road sweep, UM taking 2 from SC, UPig taking 2 from UF, and Auburn taking 2 from UGA. That makes the West even crazier.
Two HUGE series next week with MSU playing UM and Bama playing Auburn.

As a fan of my own team, the biggest thing was that Oregon State got its 6th-straight conference series win-- a program first. As a fan of NCAA baseball in general, SCar's series loss was pretty big, though after reading some fan reactions a couple weeks ago, complaining about being #2 instead of UVA, I can't say I mind it!

for me (and im a beaver fan) its how poorly the duckies have been playing, i had expected a slight step back after last years unexpected run, but not to this extent...

LSU getting shut out (4-0, 9-0) in back to back games for the first time since 1982!! Thats an amazing streak & it really shows just how dominate that program has been. The way Alabama's offense caught fire Saturday & Sunday after losing 10-6 the night before was very impressive.

SFA getting swept at home by SHSU. Expected them to fall back to earth a little but not all in one weekend. Should seal the deal for Texas State.

Mizzou getting their 3rd straight series conference win against Kansas State. For a team that was at the bottom of the barrel a few weeks ago, they have positioned themselves well to get to the B12 tournament.
On the larger picture, they sure did cause some havoc on Baylor & Kstate who were looking to be in the postseason picture. Not that it's that exciting but the (to me at least) Kansas - Kstate matchup next weekend looks to have quite a bit riding on it as the loser of that series likely will not make the B12 tourney.

Fullerton sweeping Riverside! With all the injuries these boys did not skip a beat! Nick Ramirez 3 saves and a game tying bomb, only negative was my choice for team MVP Anthony Trajano going down with a hammy, this kid is a gamer...
