Here are your pac-10 non-conference games this week. Predict how each team will do:
San Jose State @ #1 UCLA(3) #3 Vanderbilt v. #12 Stanford(3) Delaware @ #9 Arizona State(4) #30 California @ Caravelle Resort Baseball in Myrtle Beach, SC v. Coastal Carolina, NC State and Kansas State(3) #18 Rice v. Southern Cal(3) St Mary's @ #19 Oregon(3) Long Beach State v. #23 Arizona(3) Oregon State @ Kleberg Bank College Classic v.#28 Connecticut, Texas A&M-Corpus Christian and Indiana(3) UC Santa Barbara @ Washington State(3) Cal State Bakersfield v. Washington(3)
#1 UCLA 3-0: Easy series for the Bruins, lets see if the starters ERA can stay at 0 for another weekend. #12 Stanford 1-2: Stanford morns the loss of Mooneyham but Vandy is also a national title contender. #9 Arizona State 4-0: The Sun Devils have had the easiest schedule yet and they do not lose at home. #30 California 1-2: Traveling all the way across the country will be tough on the Bears along with the talents from the teams they play. Southern Cal 1-2: Trojans played well last week but they won't play well enough to win this series. #19 Oregon 3-0: The Ducks are back home and prove to the nation how much better they are than last weekend. Oregon State 2-1: There only loss will be to UCONN, but I see them playing the Huskies tough. Wazzu 3-0: 3 feet of snow in Pullman leads to a home-field advantage that can't be matched in the Pac-10. Washington 2-1: Huskies offense is pretty well rounded but there pitching will the story this weekend as they take this series.
Let me know your thoughts..

UCLA should sweep the Spartans I believe in the Cardinal, I think they win games 2 & 3. ASU not going to have any troubles with Delaware. Cal is in for a rough weekend. Might win 1? Rice should sweep USC. I don't think that USC is back to their usual self yet. Oregon I'm guessing is going to have a 2-1 weekend. LBSU V. AZ is going to be a good series, I'm still going with the desert on this one a very close 2-1 series. Oregon State should go 2-1 as long as they don't take Indiana too lightly. WSU will take 2 of 3. UW's inexperience is going to bite them in the butt again this weekend, they might only get 2 in in Bakersfield this weekend, so I'm going to go with CSUB winning both.

For all the CSUB haters - CSUB beats Washington 5 to 4 in the series opener.

Can I ask if you have even looked at the UW stats? Going into the series they were hitting.294 while their horrible pitching staff allowed Missouri State, Nebraska, and Air Force to hit .389. Where is their offense "well rounded"?
The three starters now have an ERA of 9.22 and their 'pen has an ERA of 8.38. Now someone please tell me, how in the hell are they so damn good?
