<description><![CDATA[Horizon/Desert Ridge was a one sided affair as Horizon defeated a graduation depleted Ridge team 7-2.  Nick Valenza LHP started the game off in the 90-91 range, but a bit wild.  He got out of a jam early and cruised from there.  Scot Hoffman was the victim of a few errors, which led to unearned runs.  A good twenty scouts were on hand for this one.  Valenza was a nice surprise today and had some scouts chirping a bit.]]></description>

Arlington Country Day and Javier Baez take on Montverde Academy and Francisco Lindor. Baez and Lindor have played as teammates several times, including the 2010 Aflac All-American Game and with the Cardinals Scout Team at the 2010 WWBA World Championship.
