I was out last night and happened to drive through downtown Omaha about 10 pm. For some reason they had all the lights on. Wow, talk about lighting up a skyline! It looked spectacular. Very fitting for the opening of college baseball season, although the first game at what I call "New Rosenblatt" (and I'm sure other Omaha residents do also) isn't until April 19.

Thanks for the post, David .... As much I loved Rosenblatt, I'm very much looking forward to the new setting and being in a more modern stadium where you don't have to walk through massive crowds for everything.

Year one will be a little odd, but it'll be fun.

As I've said many times, what was most important was that they kept the CWS in Omaha, even if that meant leaving Rosenblatt. It will be interesting to see how the park plays now that they're off the hill and the heat/wind doesn't have quite the same effect.
