I have to admit .... I was a little shocked that Georgia was perfect last week.
Other thoughts?

Georgia for me, no doubt. Also- LSU sweeping CSF. I kinda expected CSF to take one. Rice also struggled out in San Fran...although they salvaged the weekend with a 2-1 win yesterday.

Also, UCLA lost 2/3 once again, which was kind of a surprise considering they played UGA, St Mary's, and USC. Their team ERA is 1.80, but their team BA is less than .250. That just won't cut it. edited by BaylorGuy314 on 3/14/2011

A positive surprise:
I know it was against Wagner but UCF pitched back-to-back complete games. For the weekend the starting pitchers combined for 24 SO and 0 BB. After the way the team has pitched in recent years it's shocking the turnaround even if against weak competition.

I am a homer but I did not expect LSU to sweep CSF, so a great surprise for me. Especially with this young team, two freshman weekend starters going face to face with some very good CSF seasoned guys. This weekend we will see how good we, LSU, really is. Geaux Tigers

I agree I thought Fullerton would win 2-3 but that was before I saw them self destruct in each first inning of each game. Errors by the pitchers were out of character. Errors by SS was also unexpected. Offense has not been good all year but terrible this weekend. O'Connell has been great all year but the crowd must have brought out the nerves, same with Ramirez and Pill. The Titans battled but killed themselves...

2 biggest surprises to me:
1. Clemson gets swept (though i loved it) 2. LSU sweeps CSF (i think they are officially "back")
