The 2014 season coming up for the 17-18U summer is very important to our graduating Seniors and our up-coming Juniors. This season becomes the most important season of their baseball careers. It is our job, now, to showcase and put these kids in front of as many college and professional baseball scouts and coaches, as we possibly can. We intend to do this through showcases and perfect game tournaments, as much as possible. we have a well-experienced coaching staff that is being constantly called and approached by college scouting - calls are coming in daily from college scouts nationwide. It is the first season of travel ball where the teams are made up of varsity-aged players that are depending on us to help get them into college, somewhere.

Also, there are several teams that feature 17s and 18s on their roster and play 18U. This reduces the supply of 17U players. The reason for this is that there are limited 17U tournaments available. At this point, in their career 17s & 18s should really be playing on the same level of competitive baseball.

To let you know who we are, we are the 17-18U East Cobb Marlins and will be fielding a major level team that will travel to more showcases this year than ever before! We will also be playing as many perfect game tournaments as we can get these young men to.

On top of this travel season, the ball players that will be selected will have their own personal training staff and indoor facility; this being the Batter's Box located in Woodstock, GA.

Instructors and coaches affiliated with us will be: hitting & catching instructor Mike Rodriguez from the Toronto Blue Jays, previous professional ball player Tyler Boling will be on of our hitting & conditioning instructors who will provide one-on-one coaching, pitching instructor Scott Proulx, and Andy Baker who will be assisting with all pitching & arm care, when available to us at the Batter's Box.

You may contact any of these coaches for a tryout:
Mike Rodriguez at (678) 410 6027
Tyler Boling at (404) 372 0263
or
Team Manager, Robbie McGlamry at (404) 610 1777
