The question is, will Ben Wetzler get a chance to pitch this weekend?

honestly I don't think so, unless Matt or Andrew have a bad day. Those two when they are on their game are damn near unhittable. And I have said several times I will take good pitching over good hitting

Well, lets hope he gets a chance in the 3rd game.. not the second. Good Luck.

Matt had a good day.. It was your teams lack of hitting, and poor bullpen that cost you the game. Hope Engel is ok..

Tough loss today. Everybody was counting K-State out from the beginning but it seems they are legit. They want that first trip to Omaha just like Indiana does.

boneheaded move in the 8th. To bring in your best reliever and take him out after 1/3 inning and then lose your #2 reliever to an injury. FIRE YESKIE!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

I had a good day until the top of the 9th. Actually, it was still a good day. But it could have been a great day.

After all the hype about OSU in the media, I have a birthday wish.. And OSU fans are not going to like it. Yes rd's birthday is on the ninth of June.

While the game didn't go as expected today, I did have a great time at the game. I had some great company with Dodger Matt and Ophiman. I was also sitting next to one of my best friend's dad's friends from his church, a father-son combo that have spent the last 8 years working as missionaries in Alaska. We had a fascinating discussion about Alaska and the work they do, or should I say God's work, in the outlying areas of Alaska.
I'm looking for a better outcome tomorrow. The good news is I will have the opportunity to watch even more baseball on Monday.

Well said Matt. Great company today at the game. And a big thanks to our friend and micro-beer connoisseur,
Ophiman, who brought us an IPA and a Pale Ale to the game. These were two excellent beers.

I'm looking forward to the next two games.

If you guys get another great start from Moore.. And the bats come alive it could be a whole new story. We will see which team wants it the most. I am relieved that UCLA made it in. At least we have one team representing right now. Beavs have their work cut out for them, but I still feel they are going to pull it out.

I'm just not buying this complaint. The head coach is paid to make decisions like these, or to at least make sure the right decisions are made. Who sits idly and lets an assistant coach ruin his program's season?

Yeah.. I agree. I would think Casey has more to do with the Beavs pitching staff than Yeskie. He is the boss, and makes all the decisions. IMO.

Conforto goes yard again. Let's hope that's not the only scoring OSU puts on the board.

What cable provider do you have that doesn't let you get ESPN2 for free?
