Florida loses 5-4 today and has been eliminated. Texas A&M winning 6-1 over UTSA in the 7th right now. Arkansas beating Wichita State 3-1 in the Top of the 8th. Alabama beats Savannah State 3-2 to avoid elimination, and Ole Miss beats Binghamton 8-4 to avoid elimination as well. After going 4-5 yesterday, the SEC is 2-1 today and in good shape to go 4-1 pretty soon. SEC teams are 6-6 in the NCAA Tournament so far.

Had a guy I work with in Gainesville was trying to convince me that based solely on SOS (he was/is convinced UF was #1 in SOS), Florida had every right to be in the 64 and there was no one below them that should have been in their spot. I took pity on him yesterday. Not today though.

They had a tough schedule no doubt, but heck you cant just barely get over .500 and expect to get in. Go win a few more games and maybe so but they just had a terrible year regardless of how that schedule looks. If they could have won maybe 5 or 6 more games and went deeper in the SEC tournament than the one and done they did, then maybe so, but I feel no pity for Florida at all.

Ill give them credit, USCe has definitely proven worthy of the host they were given. Put on a show tonight.

I will say that homer in the 9th by that guy from Liberty was an absolute bomb!

SEC went 8-1 on day 2. Now, 12-6 overall.

Only SEC to be eliminated so far is Florida, and no one is shedding any tears over the Gators.
