Good column, Kendall. If our offense can match are talent on the mound, I think we could be in for a surprisingly good year. It's going to be a fun Spring to watch this team grow (hopefully in confidence).

And, Florida loses to Georgia Southern, 7 - 0. Why did Maronde only pitch 2.2 innings? He was very effective; other Florida pitchers were less so.

Rosita -- my guess is Coach O'Sullivan wanted to give everyone work. Georgia Southern pretty much did the same thing.

Matt Boyd has looked sharp in his last 2 outings as the closer. The bats look good (as compared to last year) and the D has been surprisingly efficient. I know it's early in the season, but I am excited by this team. Good win tonight Beavs.
