2013 Top Prospects

Justin Dunn - RHP - 2013 - Freeport, NY
Dunn reached 85 mph on his fastball, and we know he has a lot more in him. He’s been up to 90 in past tournaments. Most impressive, however, was his sharp downer curveball at 74 mph. His arm speed, fastball, and that curveball make him a very high level follow.

Colin Gibbons-Fly - SS - 2013 - College Park, MD
Smooth, easy infield actions with some arm strength. High upside defensive shortstop. Good speed, ran a 6.85 40 yard. Well balanced at the plate, good power potential, hands are very fast. Toolsy player.

Simon Gravel - C - 2013 - Terrebonne, QC
One of the strongest hitters of the event, excellent game swings. Hard pull side contact with lift in his swing. Very good power potential and shows tools behind the plate.

Jeffrey Henriquez - RHP - 2013 - New York, NY
The stocky, strong right-handed got his fastball up to 85 mph, showing good life through the strike zone. Henriquez also mixed in a hard 11-5 curveball that he flashed an ability to throw for strikes.

Anthony Bonilla - OF - 2013 - Massapecqua Park, NY
Reached 84 mph with his fastball, showed good riding life through the zone. Good frame, athletic. Has an excellent feel for pitching, good action on his breaking ball.

John Reyes - 3B - 2013 - Philadelphia, PA
Hits from a wide base, stays short and compact to the ball. Consistent, line drive contact and shows good power potential. Strong build.

Shane Donnelly - C - 2013 - Media, PA
Large, strong frame. Line drive approach at the plate, flashes impressive bat speed, ball jumps off the barrel. Fundamentally sound hitter with tools behind the plate.


2014 Top Prospects

Joseph Sanchez - 1B - 2014 - Ozone Park, NY
Athletic looking player, consistent in the field, sound actions. Standout hitter at the event, ball leaps off his bat, excellent bat speed. Strong hitter with good power potential, uses the whole field well.

James Venuto - C - 2014 - Mansfield, MA
Very strong arm from behind the plate, high upside catcher. Short arm action, polished defender. Fast right-handed bat, uses the whole field, flashes power potential.

Mike Brambilla - LHP - 2014 - Cherry Hill, NJ
The the most well rounded and polished pitcher at the event. He showed superb arm speed and repeating his delivery very well. He filled up the zone with strikes, pitching at 83-86 mph with his fastball. Most impressive were his secondary pitches, as he showed a quality curveball, slider, and changeup. Very complete pitcher and needs to be followed closely.

Phillip Pimble - OF - 2014 - Bronx, NY
Fast bat, good left-handed swing with lift. Athletic looking build with some speed. Consistent approach, high upside bat.

Jack Laudani - RHP - 2014 - Smithtown, NY
Laudani works from a funky delivery with a high leg kick and an arm slot that’s right over the top. To his credit, he does a good of repeating it. He pumped his fastball at 82-85 mph in New Jersey and showed excellent rotation on a 12-6 curveball.

Victor Persad - LHP - 2014 - Queens Village, NY
Persad had one of the event’s fastest arms, throwing his 80-82 mph consistently for quality strikes on the corners. He also mixed in a sharp 11-5 breaking ball that he spotted very well.

Lane Ward - RHP - 2014 - King George, VA
Ward threw his fastball at 80-84 mph, showing some good life and an ability to locate on the corners. He worked from an over the top arm slot, showing some good rotation on an 11-5 curveball ay 67 mph.

Mohamed Jaafar - OF - 2014 - Ridgefield, NJ
Athletic build, good offensive upside. Swing has good lift, flashes bat speed. Balanced hitter, very simple swing.

Kyle Harris - RHP - 2014 - New York, NY
Impressive at the plate. Hits from an open stance and makes consistent, line drive type contact. Gets good extension. Good upside at the plate.

Jason Polgano - OF - 2014 - Bronx, NY
Shows good bat speed with good power potential, ball jumped off bat when centered up, though velocity won't jump out at you on the mound, has great control and knows how to pitch.


2015 Top Prospects

Zack Kesterson - SS - 2015 - New Hartford, NY
Kesterson was an all-around, two way standout in New Jersey, but was particularly impressive on the mound. He hides the ball well in his delivery, working from a three-quarter arm slot. He pitched at 83-85 mph with his fastball, and flashed a curveball at 63-65 mph. He’s still very young and is a high upside righty that has to be watched closely. He also flashed smooth infield actions and good upside with the bat.

Dominic D'Alessandro - C - 2015 - Glassboro, NJ
Very strong body. Ball jumps off his bat, produces good lift. Stays short to the ball and has good power potential. High upside bat to watch closely.

Michael Amandola - C - 2015 - North Babylon, NY
Flashes impressive hit tool, solid approach from the right-hand side. Good bat speed and shows power potential. Tools behind the plate are still developing, the potential is there.

Connell Boyle - C - 2015 - Johnson City, TN
Very strong throwing arm, profiles very well behind the plate. Gets rid of the ball quickly and has quick feet. Consistent swing mechanics, gets excellent leverage. Aggressive hitter with a sound approach.

Daniel McEvoy - MIF - 2015 - East Moriches, NY
Short, quick swing. Knows what he's doing at the plate, produces hard line drives. Smart hitter.

Zachary Genaway - C - 2015 - Medford, NY
Outstanding game swings, used the whole field and hits consistent, hard line drives. Excellent approach, very patient. Shows good bat speed and power potential.

Max Goione - 2B - 2015 - Fair Haven, NJ
Smooth infield actions. Aggressive right-handed hitter, good lift in his swing. Hits consistent line drives and the approach looks sound.

Ryan DeWalt - RHP - 2015 - Maple Glen, PA
Impressive at the plate. Aggressive hitter with some quickness in his bat. Very loose and fluid, hits consistent line drives. Hits to all fields very well.

Alex Knoebel - RHP - 2015 - Nyack, NY
Fastball reached 84 mph and showed a solid feel for pitching. Fast arm, looks like there is more velocity on the way. Curveball shows good 11-5 rotation. High upside righty that needs to be monitored closely.

Matthew Bartnik - LHP - 2015 - Holbrook, NY
Good power potential at the plate, flashes bat speed, makes solid contact, good upside at plate.

David Juechter - RHP - 2015 - Nyack, NY
Long loose arm action, fastball shows good sink, mixed in 11/5 curveball with depth.


2016 Top Prospects

Mike Pascoe - RHP - 2016 - Poughkeepsie, NY
Shows a consistent line drive swing, hits the ball well to the middle and opposite fields. High upside hitter with physical projection.
