2013 Top Prospects
- 3B - 2013 - North Vancouver, BC
The British Columbia native not only can play at any Division 1 school in the country, he is likely to be heavily scouted next spring. He has big left handed power and is an agile third baseman with a cannon arm.
Gustavo Escobar Jr
- OF - 2013 - Yukon, OK
Escobar ran a 6.80 and threw 91 mph from the outfield and 87 from the mound but his best game tool was his right handed bat. He hit the hard virtually every at bat and showed his power potential.
- OF - 2013 - Orange, CA
Baranek is a high energy player who is best evaluated in game competition. He can play centerfield at the next level and has lots of power in his 5-8 frame. He also throws in the mid-80's off the mound.
- RHP - 2013 - Gilbert, AZ
Smith was the top pitching prospect at the event, topping out at 87 mph on his fastball with a very good curveball. He showed advanced pitchabilty and maturity on the mound, which will enable him to pitch right away in college.
- OF - 2013 - Murphy, TX
Kravik has very nice defensive tools and skills in centerfield and combines next level speed and arm strength and a very projectable 6-1/170 build. He also shows gap power with a slashing right handed swing.
- OF - 2013 - Marshall, TX
Brune has a compact and strong 5-11/180 build and very good right handed bat speed with present power. He also is a 6.7 runner who uses his speed well in the outfield and on the bases.
- 2B - 2013 - Colorado Springs, CO
Krainock is an offensive second baseman who has both speed (6.8) and the ability to consistently square up the ball and hit it hard to the gaps. He performed very well in the game competition.
- C - 2013 - Scottdale, AZ
Hodge has very good defensive skills across the board and popped as low as 1.85 in drills. He shows flashes of power from the right side
- C - 2013 - Burleson, TX
Crook is a polished all around player, especially on defense where he shows maturity in his ability to manage a game and do all the things a catcher needs to do. He has a compact, high average swing approach at the plate.
- OF - 2013 - Las Vegas, NV
Garrison's best tool is his right handed bat and especially his power potential; he has an aggressive swing approach and pulls the ball hard. His corner outfield tools are playable.
- OF - 2013 - Manhattan Beach, CA
The 6-2/175 Pendergast has a nice left handed swing and consistently squares the ball up. He's also a 6.9 runner with a high motor on the field. More strength is the key to his future development.
