Matt Anderson (Claremont HS, Claremont, CA) 6’2”/225 RHP/IF/C: Big strong player had an outstanding weekend in San Diego. Can get it done anywhere on the field. 6.92 sixty-yard dash. Good actions at 3B with soft hands and good footwork. Well developed catch and throw skills behind the plate with 1.83 pop. Arm strength plays at each spot, and he topped at 88 during his work on the mound. Took an excellent BP, driving several balls out.

Michael Kershner (St. Mary’s College, Oakland, CA) 6’2”/160 RHP: Lean and lanky build with projection. Works from ¾ arm slot with a long and extended arm action. He ran his fastball up to 86 in San Diego and it showed good life. He throws with lower effort and shows poise on the mound, changing speeds with his 11-5 breaking ball. Committed to Michigan.

Evan Traffenstedt (Moorpark HS, Moorpark, CA) 6’2”/176 RHP/OF: Athletic and lean frame with room for continued development. Quick paced delivery on mound. Shows good armspeed and works the ball in and out of the zone. Slight back turn to the plate adds deception to his delivery. Evan’s curveball breaks 10-4, and flashes hard bite at times – will be a serious strikeout pitch down the road.

MIF Christian Lopes (2011/Valencia HS, Canyon Country, CA): Lopes has very advanced defensive actions and can really hit at the plate. The ball jumps off his bat and is the highest level follow.

OF Travis Harrison (2011/Tustin HS, Alison Viejo, CA): Harrison continues to impress with his bat. He put on a show in BP and also hit very well in games. He is one of the top hitters in the 2011 class.

MIF Anthony Wolters (2010/Rancho Buena Vista HS, Vista, CA): Wolters has highest level defensive tools with very quick transfers and arm strength. He can swing the bat too and seemed to square up every ball he swung at.

C Stefan Sabol (2010/Aliso Niguel HS, Aliso Viejo, CA): Sabol showed good catch and throw skills with quick feet and transfers. His bat continues to impress in both BP and in game. Sabol peppered hard line drives to all fields.

LHP/1B/OF Daniel Camarena (2011/Cathedral Catholic HS, Bonita, CA): Camarena has a live arm to go with smooth polished mechanics. The ball jumps out of his hand and he also showed a sharp slider. Camarena also has very high level hitting tools. He is a high level two-way prospect.

MIF Phillip Evans (2011/LaCosta Canyon HS, Carlsbad, CA): Evans has a good strong build and shows good instincts and actions defensively. He showed a good swing and got the barrel to the ball in BP and in games. He is a gamer.

MIF Brett Harrison (2010/Green Valley HS, Henderson, NV): Harrison has quick hands through the zone at the plate and showed an aggressive approach at the plate. He should hit a ton in the future.

RHP Gabriel Encinas (2010/Saint Paul HS, Whittier CA): Encinas had a dominant performance flashing a long loose arm with good arm speed. He has good armside run on his fastball and he has projectable stuff.

MIF Lonnie Kauppila (2010/Burbank HS, Burbank CA): Kauppila has an aggressive approach at the plate and can flat out hit. He centers the ball up well generates good bat speed. He also showed nice hands and body control defensively.

C Will Swanner (2010/La Costa Canyon HS, Cardiff, CA): Swanner has good arm strength from behind the plate and showed good catching tools. He also has a balanced swing and showed some lift and pop in his bat.

RHP AJ Berglund (2010/St. Francis HS, Altadena, CA): Berglund showed a smooth low effort delivery with a long loose arm action. He has a strong thick build and threw three pitches for strikes.

RHP Nick Kingham (2010/Sierra Vista HS, Las Vegas, NV): Kingham has a loose arm with projectable velocity. He could make a jump in velocity with a few minor adjustments. Kingham showed a sharp curveball for strikes as well.

LHP Paul Paez (2010/Bishop Amat HS, Baldwin Park, CA): Paez was dominant in his performance throwing three pitches for strikes and spotting the ball in and out well. He showed very good pitchability and is a strike throwing machine.

RHP Ryan Wood (2011/Rocky Mountain HS, Eagle, ID): Wood has a live arm with good arm speed. There is more in there with a few adjustments to his delivery. Wood has a good build and projects well physically.

OF/RHP Bijan Rademacher (2010/Canyon HS, Anaheim Hills, CA): Rademacher has a smooth balanced left handed swing and generates easy bat speed. He has a good tool set running a 6.79 and throwing 89 from the outfield.

MIF Jake Middleton (2010/Santiago HS, Corona, CA): Middleton has a line drive swing and he showed some pop. He also showed good speed at 6.69 and smooth defensive actions on the infield.

MIF Brad Salgado (2010/Great Oak HS, Temecula, CA): Salgado showed good defensive actions and a good tool set. He generates good bat speed on the plate and takes his hands to the ball well.

C/RHP Joshua Minder (2010/Valley View HS, Moreno Valley, CA): Minder showed good arm strength and quick actions behind the plate. He has catch and throw skills and he also generates good bat speed at the plate. Minder is a legit two-way prospect as he pitched at 85-88 off the mound.

OF Robert Forrest (2010/Rampart HS, Colorado Springs, CO): Forrest showed very good arm strength from the outfield at 94 mph. The ball jumps out of his hand and he also showed good actions. He has some pop in his bat, but will make more consistent hard contact with a few adjustments.

RHP Miguel Silva (2010/Hilltop HS, Chula Vista, CA): Silva throws a good 2 seam fastball that has hard run in on right handed hitters. He also throws a sweeping slider with good tilt on it. Silva keeps hitters off balance and throws three pitches for strikes.

MIF Timothy Lopes (2012/Valencia HS, Canyon Country, CA): Lopes has good defensive actions with nice hands. He has an aggressive approach at the plate and generates good bat speed. He is a good young follow for the 2012 class.
