National Underclass Showcase - Main Event
The National Underclass Showcase was expanded in 2007 to become a series of three showcases. The newly introduced Session 1 and Session 3 Underclass events are held in Mesa, Arizona and Ft. Myers, Florida, respectively. Both events were met with huge success in their inuagural year, with many talented players in attendance. The new sessions provide another great opportunity for underclass players to showcase their abilities.
Meanwhile, the Main Event continues to be the largest individual showcase event that Perfect Game runs, which means it is the largest baseball showcase event in the world. Each year over 500 talented underclassmen from across the country show their skills for three days in front of the scouting community. In its history the Underclass Showcase has hosted players from all 50 states as well as 5 foreign countries. The warm Florida weather in Fort Myers is perfect for families looking for a post-Christmas vacation from northern states and the top level talent from Florida is always out in droves. If you are a 2011 or 2012 prospect with college baseball aspirations or more, don’t miss this event!
