1. George Springer (2008/Avon Old Farms/New Britain, CT): Springer threw 94 from the outfield, ran a 6.87, and centered every ball he hit.

2. Tommy Winegardner (2008/Riverdale Baptist/St Leonard, MD): Winegardner is a switch hitting shortstop, was 90 across the infield, and 89 on the mound.

3. Mike Dennhardt (2008/Don Bosco Prep/Oradell, NJ): Dennhardt was 87-91 on the mound with a sharp curve and a good change.

4. Jean Carlos Rodriguez (2008/George Washington/Bronz, NY): Rodriguez had a 1.94 pop time and he’s got bat speed, power, and leverage at the plate.

5. Brett Anderson (2008/Bristol Eastern/Bristol, CT): Anderson was 91 across the infield with good hands, the bat’s coming along.

6. Ryan Thompson (2008/Souhegan/Amherst, NH):Thompson was 89 from the outfield, has line drive power at the plate, and touched 90 on the mound.

9. Garrett Cooper (2008/Southington/Southington, CT): Cooper has a big, strong frame and was 89 on the mound with a tight slider and solid change.

14. Charley Thurber (2008/Elmira Free Academy/Elmira, NY): Thurber has a powerful swing from the left side and was 86 from the outfield.

15. AJ Bazdanes (2008/Nashua South/Nashua, NH): Bazdanes has a live fastball at 88, good command of his curve, and a solid pitchers’ frame.

16. Ryan Houghtalen (2008/McQuaid Jesuit/Penfield, NY): Houghtalen has an 89 mph fastball to go with a sinking change, curve is coming along.

17. Matthew Zink (2008/Syosset/Muttontown, NY): Zink ran a 6.86, was 87 from the outfield, 88 on the mound, and has line drive gap power at the plate.
