Top Prospect List
 The
Perfect Game USA World Showcase is the top off-season scouting event
of the year, producing over 300 draft picks in the last five years.
This event will spotlight 12 teams of approximately 240 top players
from the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
Historic Terry Park (4 fields) and Lee County Stadium (the
Minnesota Twins spring training home) will be in use during the
event. Players will undergo a professional tryout that includes live
batting practice, a laser-timed sixty-yard dash, evaluation of
throwing actions and arm strength, and catchers will have pop times
recorded. All teams will play three games during the event.
Showcase Facts
Approximately 240
players (12 teams) will attend.
ONLY wood bats are
allowed. Composites (Baumbats) are acceptable.
Each player will be
included in the Showcase Overview Video produced by Skillshow.
Each player will have an individual clip in the overview video.
Individual player videos are available from Skillshow.
The Showcase will be
scouted and reviewed by Perfect Game USA staff. The results,
biographical profiles, and player gradings posted on the PG USA
website.
Jerseys, hats, and
balls will be provided. Additional equipment will be available.
Professional coaching
for each team is provided.
Lodging

Perfect Game USA has
reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson in Fort Myers
(941--936-4300). It is 15-20 minutes from Terry Park. If you
choose to make your own lodging arrangements, make sure you
mention you are with Perfect Game USA.

If you choose to have
Perfect Game USA handle the lodging arrangements keep in mind the
dates paid for are December 27th, 28th, and 29th. Any additional
nights will be your responsiblity.
Flights
Perfect Game USA has not made arrangements with any
carriers for special rates. However, we have seen some very
competitive rates through some of the online brokers. Consider
trying either Travelocity or Priceline--they can give you quick
rates and itineraries.

Field Directions--From the
Radisson Inn (Host Hotel)
Terry Park
Take US41 north for 6 miles, make a right on Martin Luther King Blvd,
turn left on Broadway and then make a right on 2nd street (this road
curves and it will change the name to Seaboard) on Palm Beach Blvd turn
right, go over railroad tracks and the park is on the right.
Lee County Sports Complex (Twins Stadium)
Take US41 south for a mile and a half, then make a left on Daniels
Parkway, continue that way for about 4 miles and make a right turn on
Six Mile Cypress Parkway, the park is on the right.
