7/26/2008 1:55:00 PM

Top Half

Steve Casey singles to put runners at the corners for NorCal with no outs. Tyler Goeddel hits an RBI groundout to short to make it 13-4 NorCal with one out and a runner on 1st. A pinch hit single puts runners on 1st and 2nd with one out. Ryan Atlas is the new hitter and he lines out to center, for the second out. Ian Kalinowski is the new pitcher for Kentucky and he inherits runners on 2nd and 3rd with two outs. Ian walks the first batter, so its bases loaded and two outs. Ian walks Chris Harper to make it 14-4 for NorCal. Colin Reed is in to pinch hit now and walks to make it 15-4 with the bases loaded. Ian hits the last batter which ends the game by a run rule. The final score is 16-4 NorCal. Congratulations to NorCal the 2008 15u WWBA Champions!

3rd Inning >>

Gm # 50 | 9/14/2009 | 8:00 AM East Coast Grays vs. East Coast Select Lions

7/26/2008 1:30:00 PM

Top Half

Kyle Moses comes on to work his second inning, as he will look to hold the lead for NorCal. Carter Elmore walks and Ryan Fucci singles to center to put pressure on NorCal. Trevor Gott grounds into a double play, moving Elmore to third but now with two outs. Tyler West singles to left, scoring Elmore and making it a 11-4 game. 2nd Inning >>

7/26/2008 1:10:00 PM

Top Half

A new pitcher for NorCal now, as Kyle Moses will try and hold the lead. Kyle works a quick 1-2-3 inning through the bottom of the Kentucky order.

Bottom Half

Aaron Johnson came in to relieve Luke Lovell and will now need to lock down the NorCal offense. Back to back singles by Alex Blandino and Billy Flamion set the stage for Trevor Faulkner who hit a three run home run to left field to make it 8-3 NorCal. Aaron Johnson walks and then hits the next batter and now must face Steve Casey. Casey reaches on a error by the shortstop, now the bases are loaded with two outs. Tyler Goeddel takes a ball the other way for a 2RBI single to right field to make it 10-3 NorCal. Travis Strickler will now come on for Kentucky to get out of the inning. Travis’ pickoff to 1st is overthrown, scoring the runner from 3rd making it 11-3 NorCal. A groundout to short ends the threat.

1st Inning >>

Gm # 1 | 9/12/2009 | 2:45 PM South Troy Dodgers vs. East Coast Select Lions

7/26/2008 12:45:00 PM

Top Half
Kentucky Baseball Club hits first because the lower seed is the visiting team. Billy Flamion is the starting pitcher for NorCal. Billy issues back to back walks to start the game, and Kentucky's Trevor Gott makes him pay with a double in the left center gap to put Kentucky up 2-0. Devin Jackson's groundout brings Gott in from 3rd to make it 3-0 Kentucky. Tyler Wells flies out to end the top half of the 1st.

Bottom Half
Luke Lovell is the starting pitcher for the Kentucky Baseball Club, and he has the task of holding onto the early lead that his offense has provided. A four pitch walk to start the bottom half, it will be interesting to see if that hurts Luke the way the walks hurt Billy in his half. A throwing error on the pickoff attempt allows for the runner to move up to third.  Alex Blandino draws a walk so back to back walks for NorCal puts runners on the corners with no outs. Billy Flamion helps himself with an RBI groundout, to make it 3-1 Kentucky. Kevin Kramer crushes a RBI ground rule double to right center, its now 3-2 with two outs in the bottom half. Steve Casey hits a RBI double to tie the game. It is now 3-3 in the bottom of the 1st. Tyler Goeddel hits a 2RBI triple to center, 5-3 NorCal leads. A diving catch by Ryan Fucci in center field ends the inning.

NorCal advances to play the Kentucky Baseball Club this afternoon in the championship game.
