Purple

Trey Sledge (2015, RHP/1B, Coppell, Coppel, TX) has an aggressive approach and collected two hits.

Kameron Levis (2017, RHP/C/UT, Splendora HS, New Caney, TX) had a solid outing pitching 3 innings with 3 strike outs. He has a long arm action with looseness, throws easy. He was 77-81 MPH with his FB with arm side run, and flashed CB potential.

Jordan Cannon (2015, C/OF/RHP, Centerville Jr.-Sr., Centerville, TX) was 2-2 with a double, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI's. He showed good bat speed, and made consistent contact squaring the ball up. He also pitched in the game showing off multiple arm angles and mixing up his pitches effectively. His FB was 77-81 MPH from the low 3/4 slot, and was 73-74 MPH submarine.

Thomas Halcomb (2016, RHP/3B, Liberty HS, Frisco, TX) had a solid day on the mound with his FB ranging from 78-82 MPH with late life. He gets downhill, hides the ball well, and throws strikes. He has an uptempo delivery attacking hitters.

Nick Anderson (2015, OF, Kempner HS, Sugar Land, TX) was 1-1 in the game hitting a 3-Run HR. Anderson displayed good bat speed, quick hands, and the ball jumped off his bat.

Jeffrey Thomas (2015, RHP/OF, Atlanta HS, Atlanta, TX) has a compact delivery, with a long loose arm action and throws strikes. He stuck out 4 batters in 4 innings of work. His FB was 77-80 MPH with late life, CB was at 65 MPH and had a knuckleball that was 59-63 MPH.

Jordan Antley 2014, RHP, West Monroe, LA) had his fastball topping out at 84mph with his curveball at 64mph and his changeup at 72mph. Antley has an easy leg kick delivery with an easy arm action arm side run on his changeup and good tilt on his 12-6 curveball.

Taylor Sorensen (2014, OF, Llano, TX) had a couple of hits in the game for the Gold team. Sorensen has a line drive swing plane and hustles down the line to put pressure on the fielders.

Ty Clark (2014, RHP, Spring, TX) had his fastball topping out at 85mph with his curveball at 74mph. Clark throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed, is quick to the plate and has good arm side run on his fastball.

Daniel Gibbons (2014, LHP/1B, Powderly, TX) had a couple of hits in the game for the Cardinal team. Gibbons is short to the ball with a good swing and makes consistent contact at the plate.

Jordan Lawrence (2014, 3B, Fort Smith, TX) had a Home Run in the game for the Cardinal team this afternoon. Lawrence has bat speed with a good swing and has pop in his bat.

For the Red team

Brandon Provence (2015, RHP/OF, Lucas Lovejoy, Fairview, TX) started and topped at 86 with his fastball. Fastball should plus arm side run and sink. He mixed in a 67 MPH curveball with 11/5 spin and a sinking change up at 72.

Michael Neustifter (2016, 3B/C, Hebron HS, Carrolton, TX) had two hits on the day showing a quiet load and good plate coverage.

The switch hitting Caleb Holleman (2015, MIF/3B, HSAA, Fairview, TX) also had two hits on the day, one from each side. From the right side, shows a gap to gap approach and gets through the ball, from the left side, showed line drive swing and ability to go the other way.

For the Steel Team

Erickson Lanning (2015, LHP, Marcus HS, Flower Mound, TX) has a long lean projectable build and ran his fastball up to 88. He sat mostly at 85-86. Has good upside on the mound and flashed a solid change up at 74 with good arm speed.

Kevin Orr (2015, C/RHP/UT, Sante Fe HS, Edmond, OK)pitched at 83-86 topping at 86. Flashed a tight 79 MPH curveball and had good feel for an 80 MPH change up with late hard sink. He also showed a nice approach at the plate and the ability to drive the ball, he collected 2 hits.

Ethan King (2015, RHP/INF, Fayetteville East HS, Fayetteville, AR) showed a good balance swing with a gap to gap approach, he collected 2 hits

Justin Cooke (2017, C/RHP/3B, Norman HS, Norman, OK) shows a quick bat, pull side pop with pop.

Rhett Deaton (2014, RHP, Winnsboro, TX) had his fastball sitting at 82-86mph with his curveball at 74mph and his changeup at 77mph. Deaton throws from an over the top arm slot with an arm that works, good arm side run on his changeup which allows him to keep hitters off-balance.

Austin Lord (2014, LHP, Baytown, TX) had his fastball top out at 84mph with his slider at 67mph and his changeup at 78mph. Lord pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a repeatable delivery and pounds the strike zone with his pitches.

Marcelle Carter (2014, RHP, Austin, TX) had his fastball top out at 86mph with his slider at 75mph. Carter pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm action, works quick and has a repeatable delivery.

Reed Randolph (2015, 2B, Caddo Mills, TX) had a couple of hits in the game for the Texas Orange team. Randolph makes good hard consistent contact at the plate and goes with the pitch well.

Andrew Diaz (2014, OF, Missouri City, TX) also had a couple of hits in the game. Diaz has an aggressive approach at the plate with bat speed, makes consistent contact at the plate and is a lead-off type hitter.

Andrew Lord (2014, RHP, Baytown, TX) had his fastball top out at 84mph with his curveball at 70mph and his changeup at 74mph. Lord has a good repeatable delivery with good tempo on the mound, throws with easy effort and attacks the strike zone.

Brett Gannaway (2014, RHP, McKinney, TX) had his fastball sitting at 83-86mph with his curveball at 72mph and his changeup at 73mph. Gannaway pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action, with an arm that works with a good mound presence and pounds the strike zone.

Dustin Canales (2014, C, Port Lavaca, TX) had a couple of hits in the game including a double for the Teal team. Canales has an aggressive approach at the plate with a level swing and makes consistent contact.

Matthew Mazoch (2014, OF, Pflugerville, TX) had a couple of hits in the game including a double as well. Mazoch has pop in his bat with bat speed, and is a good smart base runner.

Lael Lockhart Jr (2016 1B) had a double in the game for the Vegas Gold team. He showed a good set up at the plate with a fluid stroke.

Jordan Murphy (2015 RHP) sat 80-83 mph with his fastball, showed a live arm with good hip rotation and online delivery.

Gregory Greenwood (2015 3B) had a pair of singles in the game for the Royal team. He showed a line drive swing plane and the ability to drive the ball the other way.

Donald Belt III (2015 1B) his the ball hard, had a single with 2 RBI's. He showed power potential at the plate and squared up the ball consistently.

Seth Elledge (2014, RHP, Frisco, TX) had his fastball topping out at 86mph with his curveball at 74mph. Elledge pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with an easy projectable delivery, attacks the zone with his fastball and keeps hitters off balance.

Bryan Benz (2014, 1B, Arlington, TX) had a couple of extra base hits in the game including a Home Run. Benz makes hard contact at the plate with bat speed and has pop in his bat.

Tyler Burnett (2014, OF, Stillwater, OK) also had a couple of hits in the game. Burnett has an aggressive approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and has bat speed.

Javon Rigsby (2014, RHP, Texarkana, TX) had his fastball topping out at 87mph with his curveball at 61mph. Rigsby pitches from an over the top arm slot with deception to his delivery. Rigsby works fast on the mound with a quick arm action and an athletic build.

Cody Allen (2015, SS/RHP, Smithson Valley, Bulverde, TX) Impressed in the game going 2-2 with a single, homerun, 2 runs scored, 2 RBI's with a stolen base and pitched 1 scoreless inning striking out 2. At the plate Allen displayed good bat speed, made consistent hard contact and the ball jumped off his bat. On the mound his FB sat 84-87 MPH showing a quick arm, and complimented that with a good CB that was 70-73 MPH.

Andres P Sosa (2016, 3B/SS/RHP, Ronald Reagan, San Antonio, TX) pitched 1 inning striking out the side. Sosa has a loose easy arm action with his FB sitting 82-84 MPH with late life. He also has a good 11/5 CB and a plus CH with sink.

Garrett Oltmann (2015, C/3B, Giddings HS, Giddings, TX) displayed strength in his swing staying strong through the ball and has solid bat speed going 1-1 with a 2-run HR in the game.

Austin Preiss (2015, LHP/1B, La Vernia HS, Adkins, TX) has a good pitchers build listed as 6-2 170 lbs. He pitched 4 innings and struck out 5. Preiss is an interesting LHP with a low 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, and gets downhill. His FB sat 81-85 MPH, CB at 68 MPH, and his CH was 74-75 MPH.

Patch Healy (2014 1B) lead off the game for the Navy teamwith a homerun to left field. He showedgood bat speed with lift in it.

Zack Plunkett (2014 C) had a double in the game. He showedgood plate coverage with lift in his swing and the ability to drive the ball.

Tyler Ivey (2015 RHP) pitched from a high ¾ arm slot. Heshowed a plus fastball that sat 89-91 mph touched 92 mph. He showed a goodcurveball at 76 mph with 12-6 breaking action.

Hector Hernandez (2014 1B) had a two run homerun in the gamefor the Columbia Blue team. He showed lift in his swing with the ability todrive the ball.

Bats ruled the day, as Gold defeated Black 8-7. Grant Koch (2015, Fayetteville, AR) singled and doubled for Gold, squaring up all three times at the plate. Robert Salazar (2015, North Richland Hills, TX) also squared up a couple balls, singling in both his plate appearances. Starter John Weichel (2015, Fairview, TX) struggled, allowing five runs in four innings, but topped out at 83.

Blake LoCicero (2016, Madisonville, LA) doubled and homered for Black, scoring two runs. Caden Doga (2015, Ruston, LA) also scored twice with a single, a double, and a steal. Jorge Maldonado (2015, McAllen, TX) doubled.

Dark Green and Kelly Green played to a 2-2 tie. Pitching ruled the day with Davis Keene (2015, Southlake, TX) and Eric Cole (2015, Southlake, TX) starring for Dark Green, Daniel Priwin (2015, Sugarland, TX) for Kelly Green. Keene started for Dark Green, allowing a run and striking out three in three innings. He sat 79- 83 with his fastball and showed a good, sweeping slider at 73-75. Cole threw two perfect innings, punching out four while sitting 84-87. Priwin came on in relief for Kelly Green, throwing two scoreless innings with three K's while sitting 79-82. He also singled, doubled, stole base and scored. Jake McKinnon (2016, Edmond, OK) singled twice and scored for Dark Green, also throwing two scoreless innings of relief. JJ Kruzel (2017, Little Elm, TX) of Kelly Green also threw two scoreless innings, striking out two while sitting 70-73.

Columbia Blue and Cardinal tied 1-1. Sam Kraybill (2014,Stillwater, OK) stood out on the mound for Columbia Blue, throwing threeinnings of shutout baseball, with five strikeouts. He sat 80-84.

MatthewWilliams and Daniel Gibbons did well on the bump for Cardinal. Williams (2014,League City, TX) tossed three perfect innings, sitting 80-83. Gibbons (2014,Powderly, TX) allowed a single hit in his three frames while sitting 85-86.

Columbia Blue’s offense was highlighted by Dean Smith (2014,Prosper, TX) and CJ Collins (2014, Waco, TX). Both singled and drove the ballwell.

Dark Green defeated Black 7-1, led by Jonathan Law’sstarting effort. Law (2015, El Paso, TX) struck out seven in four innings whilesitting 82-85, topping out at 86. He also singled and scored at the plate. Lawwas followed by Shane Lang (2016, Owasso, OK), who also struck out seven infour innings, topping out at 81.

Tyler Bowen (2016, Edmond, OK)closed the gameout with a perfect inning, sitting 81-82. The offense was led by Eric Cole(2015, Southlake, TX), who singled twice and reached on an error, and JakeMcKinnon (2016, Edmond, OK), who was 1-3, but made solid contact each time.

Justin Cooke (2017, C/RHP/3B, Norman HS, Norman, OK) has nice swing from right side, uses toe tap trigger, line drive swing plane and makes good contact.

Jonathon Artigues (2015, SS/RHP, St. Stanislaus HS, Bay Saint Louis, MS) has a quiet load and gap to gap approach. Gets on top of ball and makes good contact.

Texas Orange

Jordan Cannon (2015, C/OF, RHP, Centerville Junior/Senior HS, Centerville, TX) has good quick hands and shows gap to gap approach. Line drive swing plane and makes good contact.

Tristan Babin (2015, LHP/OF, East Ascension HS, Gonzalez, LA) showed a quick bat and bat speed. Aggressive line drive swing plane.

Red

Daniel Quintanilla (2016, 1B/OF/LHP, Garland HS, Garland, TX) has a nice line drive swing plane. Short swing to ball,and the ball jumps off when centered.

Caleb Kyle (2015, OF, Prestonwood Christian Academy, Frisco, TX) has good bat speed and hands work well to the ball. Has some pull side pop.

Colby Davenport (2016, OF/UT/RHP/C, Crockett HS, Grapeland, TX) shows good bat speed and hits to all fields. Aggressive line drive approach.

Michael Neustifter (2016, 3B/C/OF, Hebron HS, Carrollton, TX) has a good approach at the plate. Stays behind the ball well, has strength in swing and shows pop.

Orange

Connor Heffron (2016, OF/LHP, Reagan HS, San Antonio, TX) has a simple line drive swing plane with an aggressive approach. Mid field contact with quick hands.

Will Dawson (2015, 1B/OF/LHP, Cy Fair, Cypress, TX) has a good build, line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Makes solid contact with short compact swing.

Aaron Cardona (2016, LHP/OF, Bishop HS, Kingsville, TX) has a lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Has pull approach and makes good contact to the pull side.

Nick Anderson (2015, OF, Kempner HS, Sugar Land, TX) has an athletic build, line drive swing planet, ball jumps off bat when centered. Mid field approach and pop to all fields.

Clay Wegner 92015, OF/LHP, San Angelo Central, San Angelo, TX) has a nice quiet load with good bat speed. Hands work well to the ball, has good pull power.

Christopher Paddack (2015, RHP/1B, Cedar Park HS, Cedar Park, TX) shows good pop to all fields, line drive swing plane with bat speed.

Connor Flanagan (2015, OF/RHP/C, Smithson Valley HS, San Antonio, TX) has strong hitting hands, line drive approach to all fields, has good bat speed.

Garrett Wolforth (2016, C/RHP/SS, Concordia Lutheran HS, Spring, TX) showed a good swing from the right side with good bat speed and an aggressive approach, shows developing tools from the left side, but stronger from right side.

Grant Koch (2015, C/OF/1B, Fayetteville East HS, Fayetteville, AR), has strong lower half, good bat speed with pull side pop, line drive approach. Good contact to opposite field.

Robert Salazar (2015, SS/RHP, Birdville HS, North Richland Hills, TX) has an aggressive line drive swing plane with good pull pop. He let the ball get deep at times and stayed inside the ball.

Sam Proctor (2014, RHP/OF, IMG Academy, Sarasota, FL) pitched 3 innings, striking out 4. He impressed on the mound with his FB ranging from 87-90 MPH with good run and sink. Proctor has a effortless delivery with a loose easy arm action. Showed a good 11/5 CB with tight rotation with good feel for the pitch that sat 74-77 MPH.

Chris Glover (2014, RHP, Rockwall HS, Rockwall, TX) threw 3 inn., with 5 strike outs. Has a XL-frame with a strong build which showed with how explosive he was to the plate. His FB ranged from 85-90 MPH with arm side run. Glover has a long arm action and is sharp downhill with good balance. His best pitch was his split-finger that 73-78 MPH with good down action and was hard for hitters to square up.

Ivan Garcia (2014, RHP/OF, Dallas Christian, Heath, TX) was impressive on the mound pitching 2 innings, striking out 3. His FB sat 84-87 MPH with arm side run and he worked in and out effectively. Garcia showed a long loose arm action, throws easy, and has a smooth delivery.

Sheyan Thompson (2014, 1B/OF, Winnsboro HS, Winnsboro, TX) went 2-3 in the game with a HR. He displayed a quick bat and was short to the ball with good extension. Thompson showed the ability to stay strong through the ball and made consistent contact.

Jamin Lira (2014, 2B/SS, Bishop HS, Bishop, TX) went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a run scored. Lira is a scrappy player that showed a quick bat, short to the ball, and had a fluid stroke. He makes consistent contact and drove the ball regularly.

Michael Higgins (2014, C/RHP, Stillwater HS, Stillwater, OK) was 2-3 in the game with 2B and stolen base. He showed the ability to his the ball to all fields with a line drive swing plane. He was even more impressive behind the plate and displayed good receiving skills, was a good blocker and had good arm strength. He also back picked a runner showing a quick transfer and release.

Ryan Simon (2015, RHP,3B, OF, Round Rock, Round Rock, TX)- Alarge frame with plenty of room to build. He has a ¾ arm slot which allows himto get some arm side run on his ball. His fastball sat 84-88 mph with a sharpslider that was 75-79 mph. Simon went 4innings with 8 k’s, 0 hits, 0 runs, and 0 walks. Was impressed with how he was able to controlhis body and locate all of his pitches down in the zone for strikes. A good follow.

Trey Sledge (2015, RHP,1B, Coppell, Coppell, TX)- An extra large frame and build. With a high ¾ armslot he throws his fastball at 76-79 mph with a 67-68 mph curve ball and a70-72 mph change up. He was able to keepmost of the hitters off balanced and attacked the strike zone. He went 3 innings with 4 k’s and gave up 0 ERon 2 hits. He has a unique delivery thatallows him to deceive hitters, but is still consistent on his pitches.

Brock Anglin (2015, RHP,3B,1B, Episcopal School of Dallas,Dallas,TX)- A 6’6, 225 lb player who hit great in his second game of theday. He went 2-2 with a homerun and asingle. He still has more powerpotential in him for being a ’15 grad. He is a 3-4 type of hitter in the lineup who can drive in runs and gogap to gap with power. Displayed good plate discipline and never got cheatedout of a swing. Looks to be a goodfollow for his class.

Devin House (2016, 1B, 3B, RHP, Marcus, Flower Mound, TX)-An extra large frame and athletic build. He tossed a scoreless inning with astrikeout. His fastball sat 76-79 mphwith a 67-68 mph curve ball that had hard break at times. He has a short arm action that is accompaniedwith a low ¾ arm slot that allows him to have good arm side run on hisfastball.

CodyAllen (2015, SS,RHP, Smithson Valley, Bulverde, TX)- A smooth shortstop showedoff his bat and speed in the second game today. He hit a line drivesingle over the second baseman's head and then got a great jump off a lefty tosteal second base.

LaelLockhart (2016, LHP,1B, OF, Friendswood, Friendswood, TX)- A tall, wiry frameleft handed pitcher sat 77-79 mph in his 3 innings of work. His curveball has a 12-6 look that sat 63-65 mph. He has clean mechanics and a fluidpitching motion. By locating his fastball on the inside and outer halfallowed him to go 3 innings with 1 hit and 1 ER.

AaronCardona (2016, LHP, OF, Bishop, Kingsville, TX)- A 5'8 145lb LHP went 4 inningswith 3 hits and 1 ER. He has a slingshot arm motion coming from a low 3/4 armslot. His fastball was 75-77 mph, while his slider was 65-66 mph and his changeup sat anywhere from 67-70 mph. By keeping his hitters off balance he wasable to go deep into the game for the Orange Team.

RossLowe (2015, C, Hebron, Lewisville, TX)- Lowe a switch hitting catcher, went 1-1with a hard single in his only AB for the day. He stole second off thefirst pitch he saw displaying his speed. He also showed good defensiveskills behind the plate for all 5 innings.

Conner Berry (2015, RHP, Kempner HS, Sugar Land, TX) pitched 4 strong, striking out 9 out of the 13 batters he faced. He was 83-88 MPH with his FB and CB ranged from 74-77 MPH. Berry worked fast on the mound displaying a loose easy arm action, with a smooth balanced delivery. He had tight rotation on his 12/6 CB with good feel for the pitch.

Will Dawson (2015, 1B/OF/LHP, Cy Fair HS, Cypress, TX) showed off his pop going 1-1 with a solo HR. He displayed good BS, LD swing plane, with good extension through the ball. Dawson also came into pitch an inning striking out 2 of 4 batters. His FB sat 79-81 MPH with cut action, Dawson's 1/7 CB was his out pitch with good depth and feel for pitch.

Sean Lopez (2015, SS/RHP, Royse City HS, Royse City, TX) displayed his defensive skill set today. Sean has good footwork, hands, and moves well to glove size, took good angles and attacked the baseball defensively.

Santana Barrera (2016, OF/2B, Sharyland HS, McAllen, TX) went 1-1 with a stand-up double to the RCF gap. Barrera showed off good extension, with gap-gap pop, and lift in his swing. He is aggressive at the plate, has a short compact stroke with good plate coverage.
