Malik Collymore (2013, Port Credit SS, Mississauga, ON) had a couple hits in the game including a Home Run for the Red Team. Collymore has a line drive swing plane with quick hands and good bat speed at the plate.
Ryan Lillard (2014, Urbandale HS, Urbandale, IA) also had a good showing at the plate with a couple of extra base hits in the game. Lillard has a good swing with pop in his bat and is a line drive hitter.
Angel Luis Perez Rodriguez (2013, Colegio San Felipe, Barceloneta, PR) showed off his speed with a triple in the game. Rodriguez is a gap to gap hitter with lift in his swing and gets good extension at the plate.
Blake Shepherd (COL, Viterbo University, La Crosse, WI) continued his good day adding 2 hits including a double during the game. Shepherd has a power approach at the plate with a high finish, looks to lift the ball at the plate and has bat speed.
Matt Fiedler (2013, St. Paul’s Academy HS, Eagan, MN) had a good showing on the mound and at the plate this afternoon. At the plate Fiedler gets good extension has good bat speed with a line drive swing plane. On the mound he pitches from a high ¾ arm slot has a quick arm with a balanced clean delivery. Fiedler had his fastball sitting at 87-90mph with his curveball at 76mph.
Kevin Davis (2013, TR Miller HS, Brewton, AL) Pitches from a high ¾ arm slot with a quick arm and a fast paced balanced delivery. Davis works downhill throws all his pitches for strikes, and gets good sink and run on his changeup. Davis had his fastball sitting at 90-92mph to go along with a changeup at 81mph and a curveball at 79mph. Bryce Welborn (2013, Tomball HS, The Woodlands, TX) had his fastball topping out at 93mph with it sitting at 90-92mph to go along with his curveball at 77mph and his changeup at 82mph. Welborn pitches from a ¾ arm slot, with a loose quick arm. Welborn has cut action on his fastball with a good curveball that has good shape and tight spin.
Andrew Dunlap (2013, Westbury Christian HS, Houston, TX) tied a Pre-Draft record with his fastball topping out at 96mph completing his 11-5 curveball that was 81mph and his changeup that was 84mph. Dunlap pitches from a ¾ arm slot has good arm speed and repeats his delivery well. He showed the ability to throw all his pitches from strikes and keep hitters off balance in both his innings of work.
Casey Meisner (2013, Cypress Woods HS, Cypress, TX) pitches from an over the top delivery, with a long loose arm action, and throws on a downward plane. Meisner had his fastball sitting at 89-91mph with it topping out at 92mph to go along with his curveball at 74mph.
AJ Puk (2013, Washington HS, Cedar Rapids, IA) pitches from a ¾ arm slot with a long loose arm action has good arm speed and has an easy effort delivery. Puk has sink on his changeup gets run on his fastball, with a 1-7 curveball that has tight spin. Puk’s fastball topped out at 92mph with his curveball at 75mph and his changeup at 81mph.
Felix Roque (Col., Miami Christian, Miami, FL) pitches from a low ¾ arm slot with a long arm action sinks his fastball, throws his changeup at 84mph and gets sink and run on it. Roque had his fastball sitting at 89-91mph with his slider at 82mph.
Jacob Brentz (2013, South HS, Ballwin, MO) had his fastball topping out at 94mph to go along with his curveball at 75mph and his changeup at 83mph. Brentz pitches from a high ¾ arm slot with a long loose arm action, ball comes out easy and he throws on a downhill plane. Curveball has good spin and his changeup keeps hitters off balance.
Derek Burkamper (2013, Muscatine HS, Muscatine, IA) had his fastball sitting at 89-91mph with it topping out at 92mph and his curveball at 78mph. Burkamper pitches from a high ¾ arm slot, long loose arm action, with good arm speed. Pitches downhill, has a good feel for his curveball that he throws consistently for strikes.
Lucas Long (JC, Academy of Holy Angels HS, Minneapolis, MN) pitches from a ¾ arm slot with quick arm action and an arm that works. Long gets arm side run on his fastball with good shape to his 11-5 breaking curveball. Long also throws a changeup that is deceptive and has good drop to it which fools hitters. His fastball was sitting at 88-90mph with it topping out at 91mph his curveball at 79mph and his changeup at 81mph.
Abe Carrasco (Col. Mount Mercy Col. Downey, CA) throws a curveball at 78mph to go along with his fastball that tops out at 93mph and his changeup at 76mph. Carrasco pitches from a ¾ arm slot with a long loose arm action with a quick arm and a balanced delivery. Carrasco gets good sinking action on his changeup has good spin on his 1-7 curveball and throws his pitches for strikes.
Dairo Gonzalez (JC, Kirkwood CC, West Palm Beach, FL) continued from his impressive workout earlier by collecting 3 extra base hits in the game with a couple of doubles and a Home Run. Gonzalez has a projectable frame with good bat speed, a simple swing, and has pop to all fields.
Keaton McKinney (2014, Ankeny HS, Ankeny, IA) pitches from a ¾ arm slot with an arm that works. Throws his changeup consistently for strikes has good sink on his changeup and repeats his mechanics on the mound. McKinney had his fastball sitting at 87-89mph with his fastball topping out at 91mph to go along with his curveball that was 80mph and his changeup at 80mph.
Ian Hagenmiller (2013, Palm Beach Central, West Palm Beach, FL) collected 3 hits on the day for the Navy team this afternoon. Hagenmiller has a power approach at the plate with good bat speed and looks to drive the ball out of the park at the plate.
Ronnie Healy (2013, Elev8 Sports Institute, Jupiter, FL) had 4 hits on the day. Healy has good bat speed at the plate, hits the ball to all fields and makes consistent hard contact at the plate
