SF Elite Squad Louisville Slugger knocked off BPA 2014 by a score of 9-1. Michael Mediavilla (2014, Mater Academy, FL) starred for SF Elite, going 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles and, as the game's starting pitcher, striking out five batters over three innings.

BPA got on the board against Mediavilla in the top of the first inning, but SF Elite was too much to handle, grabbing a lead in the bottom of the first and holding it for the rest of the game. In belting his two doubles, Mediavilla showed a strong lower half, and on the mound he displayed effortless arm action.

SF Elite scored four runs in the bottom of the first, then tacked on one in the second, then two in the third to build a commanding 7-1 lead. They would add two more runs later in the game to secure the victory.
