Demitry Zafra (2014, Palmetto Ridge HS, Naples, FL) helped SWFL Baseball knock off the Dulin Dodgers 2-1 and win the 2012 16u BCS title. Zafra pitched six innings and allowed only five hits. He was throwing 79-83 mph in the game.
The first score of the game came off of a double by Matthew Richey (2014, Cape Coral HS, Cape Coral, FL) for SWFL Baseball. Donovan Petrey (2015, Port Charlotte HS, Arcadia, FL) followed that up in sixth inning with an RBI single to make the score 2-0.
Montel Johnson (2013, Lexington HS, Lexington, TN) was aggressive on the mound for the Dodgers. His fastball averaged 77-82 mph. He allowed only three hits and struck out three SWFL batters in his four innings.
The Dodgers' only run came off of a single by Tucker (2013, Memphis University School, Memphis, TN) in the seventh inning to make the final score 2-1.

Hagen Owenby (2014, Knoxville HS, Knoxville, TN) was key in the Dulin Dodgers 12-0 victory over Palm Beach County PAL in four innings. Owenby went 3-3 with three RBI and one run scored. He doubled to kick off the second inning, hit an RBI triple later in the second, and homered in the fourth. Owenby pitched all four innings for the Dodgers. He kept pitchers off balance, only allowing three hits. He was throwing 80-84 mph.
Rob Perteet (2013, Hillcrest HS, Tuscaloosa, AL) was 2-3 at bat for the Dodgers, tacking on 6 RBI and two runs. Perteet had two three-run triples in the game to help advance the Dodgers to the 16u BCS title game.

SWFL Baseball 16u beat Florida Burn Orange 1-0 Friday morning to advance to the 16u BCS Finals Championship Game.
SWFL's only run came on a passed ball, scoring Drew Freedman (2014, Gulf Coast HS, Fla.) in the top of the fourth.
Sammy Malone (2014, Island Coast HS, Fla.) started and pitched four scoreless innings for SWFL. His fastball was 79-84 mph with good armside run on a downhill plane. He also showed good command of an upper-60s curve. LHP Jonah Owenby (2014, Ft. Meyers HS, Fla.) pitched three innings in relief to secure the win. He showed good control of his 75-79 mph fastball to both sides of the plate, while mixing in a low-70s curve with good depth.
Left-hander Ben Carson (2014, Plant City HS, Fla.) threw five solid innings for Florida Burn, striking out six. His fastball was 73-76 mph with armside run. He changed speeds well, mixing in an upper-60s change-up and a mid-60s curve with good depth and 11/5 break. Brandon Elmy (2014, Venice HS, Fla.) pitched two scoreless innings in relief. Elmy worked 80-82 mph with good extension, with a few upper-60s curves.
SWFL Baseball 16u will play the Dulin Dodgers in the 16u BCS Finals Championship Game at 11:30 at City of Palms Park.

LHP John Sparks (2014, TN) carried the Dulin Dodgers to victory from the mound against the Florida Red Sox with a final score of 6-0. Sparks threw a complete, 7-inning, shut-out game to allow the Dodgers' offense to take over and run away with the victory.
Sparks was able to retire 6 batters through all 7 innings and allowed 0 runs off of only 1 hit. Sparks made his presence known with his fastball that averaged 75-77 mph and topped out at 81 mph. He showed good extension out front and a balanced delivery to dominate from the mound. Sparks' also showed a curveball and a changeup that hung around the mid to low 70s.
Offensively for the Dodgers, Jordan Rodgers (2013, MUS, TN) and Shane Tucker (2013, MUS, TN) combined for 5 of their 8 hits and scored 2 of their 6 runs. Rodgers finished the day 3-3 with 2 RBI's and scored 1 run, while Tucker went 2-3 with 1 double, 1 triple, 1 RBI and 1 run for the Dodgers. Cody Henry (2014, Tate, FL) also chipped in for the Dodgers, going 1-2 with 1 RBI and scoring 2 of their 6 runs to carry them to victory.
For the Red Sox, RHP Gray Dorsey (2015, Gulf Breeze, FL) dominated at the mound through his 2 2/3 innings pitched. Dorsey was able to retire all 8 batters that he faced and gave up 2 runs off 3 hits. Dorsey showed good command of his pitches around the plate and was able to set up hitters and switch up his pitches to keep batters off balance. His fastball topped out at an impressive 86 mph while averaging 84 mph, while his curveball hung around in the upper 70s.

RHP Luke Rolland (2013, Ida Baker, FL) lead SWFL Baseball 16U to victory over Team Mizuno of PR 16U by shutting them out through 7 innings. SWFL Baseball 16U and Team Mizuno would need extra innings to determine a winner in their match today as both teams were unable to score a single run through 7 innings. SWFL would finally add 1 run in the bottom of the 8th inning to take the 1-0 victory over Team Mizuno of PR.
Rolland was able to strike out 9 batters that stepped to the plate through the 7 innings that he pitched. Rolland shut-out Team Mizuno of PR and allowed only 1 hit to carry his team to victory. Of his 66 pitches, 48 of them came across the plate as strikes. He was able to hide the ball well with his deceptive deliveries and showed good command of his pitches. His fastball averaged 74 mph and topped out at 76 mph.

Colby Sweat (2014, Pace, FL) did all that he could to try and carry the Indiana Prospects to victory over SF Elite Squad Red, but he was unable to succeed as SF Elite came out with the 9-1 victory and picked up their 4th win of the tournament.
Sweat ended the day 2-3, with one of his hits going yard to left field to score their lone run in the game. Sweat showed his aggressiveness at the plate with a live bat to help him drive the ball and get 2 hits for the Prospects.
For SF Elite, LHP Freddie Sultan (2014, University School, FL) was able to nearly shut-out the Prospects from the mound, allowing only 1 run off 8 hits. Sultan retired 8 batters and was able to throw 59 strikes out of 82 total pitches through 7 innings. He was able to throw around the plate with all of his pitches with help from his balanced, online delivery. Sultan's fastball averaged 73-75 mph and topped out at 76 mph, while his curveball hung around the upper 60s.
Karl Sued (2014, Piper, FL) and Matt Fierman (2014, Coral Springs Charter, FL) lead SF Elite Squad Red to victory, combining for 3 of their 9 runs and adding 5 RBI's. Sued finished 2-4 with 2 runs and 4 RBI's with 1 double, while Fierman went 2-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI. Both Sued and Fierman showed patience at the plate with a linedrive swing to drive the ball into the gaps.

Zack Kone (2015, Pine Crest, FL) lead SF Elite Squad White to victory over the East Cobb Braves with a final score of 7-2. SF Elite was able to strike first and hold off the Braves after they started a late game rally that fell short in the last 2 innings.
Kone finished with 2 hits, 1 of them being a double, 2 RBI's and scored 1 of SF Elite's 7 runs. Kone was helped out offensively by David Villar (2015, American Heritage Plantation, FL) and Alex Rodriguez (2014, Archbishop McCarthy, FL). Villar finished the day 2-3 with 1 double and 1 stolen base. He also drove in 1 RBI and 1 run to carry his team to victory. Rodrigues added 1 hit and 1 stolen base while scoring 2 of SF Elite's 7 runs.
Michael Chavis (2014, Sprayberry, GA) was the top performer for the East Cobb Braves after he finished with 2 hits with 1 run and 1 RBI, but his was unable to get any help as the Braves lost, 2-7.

Henry went 2-3 with 1 double, 1 RBI and scored 1 of the Dodgers' 6 runs. McCord was equally impressive, adding 2 hits with 1 double and driving in 3 RBI's to carry the Dodgers' to victory over Next Level Baseball. Michael Fitzsimmons (2014, Memphis University School, TN) chipped in with 1 hit, 1 RBI and adding 1 more run for their team.
RHP Blake Bennett (2014, Memphis University School, TN) closed out the last 5 innings for the Dodgers, retiring 6 batters and allowing only 1 run off 2 hits. Bennett had a fastball that averaged between 80-84 mph and topped out at 85 mph to help keep Next Level Baseball from rallying and taking the lead.

Team Mizuno of PR 16U scored seven runs in the 2nd inning and defeated the Palm Beach Select 7-1 after six innings of play.
Milton Rivera (2014, IBAHS, Humacao, PR) tripled and finished with 3 RBIs for Team Mizuno. Angel Rodriguez (2013, Ramon Quinonez, Juncos, PR) & Jesus Santana (2013, Caguas Military Academy, Juncos, PR) each had two hits in the win.
Jonathan Mendoza (2013, Antolin Santos Negron, Juncos, PR) pitched all six frames and allowed one run on five hits while striking out 4. Mendoza had a smooth delivery and showed good command. He touched 78mph on his fastball.
Will Engel (2014, Suncoast HS, Jupiter, FL) went 2-3 at the plate for Palm Beach Select.

The Jacksonville Royals Blue scored 4 runs in the 3rd, but the Florida Red Sox answered with 5 runs in the top of the 4th to take the lead and eventually go on to win the game with a final score of 9-4.
The Royals were lead by Christian Jones (2014, FL) who finished 2-3 with 1 double. He also drove in 2 RBI's and scored 1 of their 4 runs in the game. He came to the plate with a sound hitting approach and showed his ability to hit to all fields with power.
The Red Sox were lead by Dylan Hart (2015, Pace, FL) and Clay Hinton (2014, Washington, FL) who combined for 4 of their 9 runs. Hart ended the game going 2-3 with 1 stolen base a 3 runs. Hinton went 2-3 on the day with 1 run and 1 RBI. They were also helped out by Jason Frederick (2014, Navarre, FL) who went 1-2 with 1 double, 2 RBI's and scored 2 of the Red Sox's 9 runs to lead them to victory.
Frederick also had a solid performance on the mound, striking out 3 batters through the final 3 1/3 innings and allowing 0 runs off 2 hits. Frederick's fastball averaged 75-77 mph and topped out at 77 mph, while his off speed pitches hung around the mid 60s.

Matt Zino (2014, Barron Collier, FL) pitched 5 impressive innings for SWFL Baseball 16U to lead them to a 5-2 victory over the All American Prospects Red. Zino assisted in only allowing the Prospects to score 2 runs off of their 9 hits in the game, compared to SWFL's 5 runs off only 6 hits. Zino managed to retire 1 batter and only allow 1 run through 5 innings. Of his 67 pitches thrown all game, 47 came across the plate as strikes. He showed control of his pitches on both sides of the plate with his effortless arm action and balanced delivery. Zino's fastball averaged 81 mph and topped out at 84 mph.
Kevin Buckley (2014, King, FL) and Drew Freedman (2014, Gulf Coast, FL) lead SWFL Baseball 16U, combining for 2 of their 5 runs in the game. Buckley ended the day 2-2 with 1 double and 1 RBI and also scored 1 run. Freedman was equally impressive going 1-2 with 2 stolen bases, 1 RBI and 1 run to carry SWFL to victory.
For the Prospect, Ronald Ramirez (2015, Plant, FL) and Cooper Dickens (2015, Plant, FL) each recorded 2 hits on the day but were unable to lift their team over SWFL.

The Florida Burn Orange squad was able to break loose and score 5 runs in the 4th inning to score the first runs in the game for either team. They would eventually add 1 more run and take the 6-1 win over the Excel Blue Sox.
RHP Alex Collins (2014, Manadarin, FL) and RHP Dominick Stefanacci (2014, Bishop Verot, FL) were able to hold off the Sox and only allow them to score 1 run off 7 total hits. Collins threw the first 6 innings in the game, retiring 5 batters and allowing 1 run. Of his 79 pitches, 52 of them were strikes. He showed good command of his pitches around the plate with a smooth, online delivery. His fastball averaged 78-81 and topped out at 82 mph while his curveball hung around the lower 70s and upper 60s. Stefanacci closed out the final inning for the Burn, striking out 1 batter and allowing only 1 hit and 0 runs. He showed a good curveball to mix in with his fastball to keep batters off balance. His fastball topped out at 83 mph while his curveball hung around the upper 60s.
Jackson Baker (2014, Sanford Seminole, FL) and Mason Smith (2014, Master's Academy, FL) lead the Burn offensively and combined for 2 of their 6 runs. Baker finished 1-3 with 2 RBI's and 1 run, while Smith went 2-2 with 1 run and 1 RBI.

Palm Beach County PAL came out swinging in today's game against the Northern Ohio Baseball Club, as they scored 16 runs off 15 hits just within 3 innings of play. Palm Beach County would be able to hold off Northern Ohio thanks to RHP Alex Katz (2014, Boca, FL) and come out with the 16-2 victory. Katz pitched the first 2 innings in the game for PAL, retiring 3 of the 6 batters that stepped to the plate and allowing only 1 hit and 0 runs. Katz was able to throw 20 strikes out of 24 total pitches in his 2 innings on the mound. He showed a fastball that averaged 79-83 mph and touched 84 mph.
Logan Heiser (2014, Jupiter, FL) and Jameel Edney (2014, Palm Beach Central, FL) lead Palm Beach County to victory, combining for 5 of their 16 runs in the game. Heiser ended the game 3-3 with 1 double, 2 RBI's and 3 runs for PAL, while Edney went 2-3 on the day with 1 stolen base, 2 RBI's and 2 runs. Connor Power (2016, American Heritage, FL) added 1 hit with 4 RBI's and 2 runs. Kyle Houck (2014, Royal Palm Beach, FL) also had a solid day at the plate, ending the day 2-2 and scoring 2 of Palm Beach County's 16 runs. LHP Ethan Simmons (2014, Briarwood Christian, AL) carried the Excel Blue Sox to a 10-2 victory over the Jersey Seminoles thanks to his arm and his bat both. Simmons was able to drive in 3 RBI's and score 1 run for the Sox after recording 1 double. He also got the job done from the mound after throwing 4 2/3 innings and retiring 10 of the 14 batters that stepped to the plate. Simmons was able to only allow 1 hit and 2 runs to let the Sox offense take over the rest of the game. Simmons competed on the mound, showing a balanced delivery and good life on his pitches. His fastball averaged 79 mph while topping out at 82 mph.
Dalton Cobb (2014, Saks, AL) and Jake Bracewell (2014, Briarwood Christian, AL) combined for 2 hits, 3 RBI's and 2 of the Sox's 10 runs in the game to carry them to victory. Austin Haight (2014, Spain Park, AL) also chipped in for the Sox, ending the day 1-2 and scoring 2 runs while also recording 2 stolen bases.

The All American Prospects Red were able to shut-out the Florida Hardballers and grab their 4th win of the tournament, with a final score of 6-0.
Jake Bak (2015, Plant, FL) and Kyle Tucker (2015, Plant, FL) lead the Prospects to victory, combining for 3 of their 6 hits and scoring 2 of their 6 total runs. Back and Tucker also drove in 1 RBI each. They each showed a sound hitting approach with linedrive swinging planes to drive the ball into the gaps.
RHP Ronald Ramirez (2015, Plant, FL) threw a complete game for the Prospects, striking out 9 batters through 7 innings and allowing 0 runs off 2 hits. Of his 80 pitches thrown in the game, 58 of them came across the plate as strikes. Ramirez showed good command of his pitches to retire batters and he also had a quick arm that helped his fastball top out at 85 mph while averaging 81-84 mph. He also had a changeup that hung around the upper 60s.

Evan Warden (2014, Western, IN) lead the Indiana Prospects to victory over the Richmond Braves West with a final score of 6-1. Warden ended the day 2-3 with 1 RBI and scored 1 of their 6 runs. He showed a quick bat with a compact swing that allowed him to drive the ball with regular contact. Gage Rogers (2014, Bloomington South, IN) also chipped in for the Prospects, grabbing 1 hit and adding 1 more run to lift the Prospects to victory.
Harry Shipley (2014, Cathedral, IN) was able to shut out the Braves through the first 4 innings of play, as he retired 2 batters and allowed 6 hits with 0 runs. Of his 49 total pitches thrown, 33 came across the plate as strikes. Shipley was able to throw around the plate with all of his pitches thanks to his balanced delivery and quick arm action. His fastball averaged 78-82 mph and topped out at 85 mph.
For the Richmond Braves West, RHP Russell Ivy (2014, Alvin, TX) started the game off right after retiring 2 of the 3 batters that he faced in the 1st inning and not allowing a run or a hit. Ivy showed a good follow through with solid arm action and a balanced delivery to help out the Braves. His fastball averaged between 84-86 mph and topped out at 87 mph.

Team IMPACT rallied in the bottom of the 4th inning to score 6 runs and take the lead from the IBAHS Knights. Team IMPACT would go on to win the game and hold off the Knights with a final score of 9-7.
Marc Coffers (2016, Barron Collier, FL) and Marshall Smith (2014, Naples, FL) lead Team IMPACT to victory, each recording 1 hit and scoring 1 of their 9 runs. Coffers added 1 RBI and 1 stolen base while Smith drove in 2 RBI's and recorded 2 stolen bases.
For the Knights, Alexis Melendez (2013, PR) and Jeffry Sosa (2014, Ceiba, PR) combined for 2 hits, 5 RBI's and 2 of their 7 runs. Melendez and Sosa's hits were both for doubles thanks to their ability to drive the ball to the gaps and bring in runs for the Knights, but their efforts fell short as Team IMPACT came from behind and took the W.

Mason Smith (2014, Master's Academy, Vero Beach, FL) doubled and finished with 2 RBIs for Florida. Ben Carson (2015, Plant City HS, Plant City, FL) doubled as well in the win. Dominick Stefanacci (2014, Bishop Verot HS, Fort Myers, FL) went 1-2 with 1 RBI.
Chad Miller (2013, Sarasota Christian, Sarasota, FL) pitched five scoreless innings for the Burn and allowed just two hits. He struck out 5 and topped out on his fastball at 82mph. He changed speeds, worked fast, and had good command on the mound.

The Jacksonville Royals Blue got six runs on 11 hits and shut-out the East Cobb Yankees 6-0.
Christian Jones (2014, Eagles View HS, Jacksonville, FL) doubled and tripled for the Royals. Jones also crossed home plate twice. Zack Smith (2014, Episcopal School of Jacksonville HS, Jacksonville, FL) also recorded two hits for Jacksonville. Smith doubled once and finished with 3 RBIs. Justin Jaroszeski (2013, Episcopal HS, Jacksonville, FL) helped on offense as well as he went 2-3 with 1 RBI in the win.
Josh Shapiro (2013, The Bolles School, Jacksonville, FL) pitched a complete game and allowed just two hits. He struck out six and pitched 78-81mph topping out at 82mph on his fastball. He showed good command, attacked hitters, and had a smooth, balanced delivery.

Memphis Tigers got a win by defeating Florida Burn Silver by a final score of 4-1. Colton Neel (2015, Memphis University, TN) and Ben Lowe (2014, Evangelical Christian, TN) combined for 6 of the Tigers 8 hits in the game. Neel and Lowe each had 3 hits in the game including a double each. Austin Looker (2014, Bolton, TN) added a 2 run homer in the 1st inning for the Tigers. Jackson Pitts (2013, Magnolia Heights, MS) started on the mound for the Tigers. Pitts was able to keep the opposing hitters off balance and limit them to 1 run on 5 hits over 5 innings. Pitts struck out 4 and walked 2.
JJ Woodward (2015, Oviedo, FL) collected 2 hits for the Burn. Woodward finished the game 2-3.

The 643 DP Jaguars defeated Boca Thunder Baseball by a final score of 12-1 on Thursday morning. The Jaguars received production up and down their lineup. Zachary Smith (2014, McEachern, GA) led the Jaguars attack in hits with 3. Smith was 3-3 with a triple and 3 runs scored. James Topping (2014, Lovett, GA) was 2-2 with a double and 3 RBI. Blake Cairnes (2014, Hiram, GA), Paul Dwyer (2014, Blessed Trinity, GA) and Alex Garland (2014, Hillgrove, GA) all added 2 RBI each for the Jaguars. Cairnes also started on the mound for the Jaguars. He pitched 4 innings and gave up 1 earned run on 2 hits. Cairnes struck out 8 and walked 1. His fastball peaked at 86 mph and was consistently 81-85 mph.
Stephan Gogreve (2015, Pope John Paul II, FL) had a triple and scored a run for Boca Thunder Baseball.

Palm Beach County PAL won their game today behind to big innings. They scored four runs in the bottom of the first and three runs in the bottom of the sixth to beat Pure Hitting 7-4. For Palm Beach County Richard Lipinski (2014, Park Vista, FL) and Jameel Edney (2014, Palm Beach Central, FL) provided multi RBI games in their win. Lipinski hit a bases clearing double showing off his good bat speed and fluid stroke. He also showed off his ability to run stealing one base in the game. Edney drove in two with his screaming liner that he was able to leg out for a double. Edney showed off his ability to hit gap to gap with pop ripping the double. He also showed patience at the plate as he drew one walk in the game.
For Pure Hitting Kevin Port (2014, Starr's Mill, GA) drove in three runs for his team in the game. Port ripped a bases clearing double in the top of the fifth for Pure Hitting displaying a sound hitting approach from the dish. Port also pitched one inning in relief allowing no runs off of two hits.

The East Cobb Yankees scored five runs in the final inning and tied Team IMPACT 9-9 after six innings of play.
Grant Ashline (2014, Naples HS, Naples, FL) finished 2-3 with a double, 1 RBI, and he also scored two runs for Team IMPACT. Ashline also pitched the final 2/3 of the 7th inning and gave up no hits. He struck out 1 ranged between 78-82mph on his fastball. Casey Santos-Ocampo (2015, Community School of Naples, Naples, FL) also doubled and he batted 2-4. Santos-Ocampo racked up 3 RBIs and scored two runs as well.
Harry Holmes (2014, Pope HS, Marietta, GA) went 2-3 with a double and 2 RBIs for East Cobb. Three players touched home plate twice for the Yankees.

SF Elite Squad Red record a 5-1 win over the Frozen Ropes Thornton thanks to solid pitching efforts by Tyler Norris (2014, Cardinal Gibbons HS, Pembroke Pines, FL) & Craig Olson (2014, Cardinal Gibbons HS, Pembroke Pines, FL). Norris pitched five innings surrendering five hits and no runs. He competed on the mound, was around the plate with all pitches, and had life on his FB. He had sound mechanics and attacked hitters as he struck out 7. The speed on his fastball was consistent between 80-84mph with a peak of 85mph. Olson relieved and threw the final two frames. Olson showed control on both sides of the plate and also had sound mechanics. He allowed one run on just one hit and struck out 2.

SWFL Baseball 16U has defeated Team Florida 9-0 led by starting pitcher LHP Luis Ferrer (2014, Mariner HS, Cape Coral, FL) who tossed a perfect game. Ferrer threw 5 innings allowing no runs, no hits, and no walks with 5 strikeouts. He hit 82 MPH on his fastball and threw 39 of his 54 pitches for strikes (72.2%). He also finished 1 for 1 at the plate with a walk and a run scored.
Offensively, RHP Matt Zino (2014, Barron Collier HS, Naples, FL) led the way going 1 for 1 with a 2-run double. The Florida Red Sox have defeated Team Citius Roland 8-7 after 7 hard fought innings of play. Leading the way for the Red Sox was 2B Jason Fredrick (2014, Navarre HS, Navarre, FL) who finished the game 2 for 2 with a triple and 2 RBIs. OF Will Haynes (2014, Pace HS, Pace, FL) finished 2 for 3 with a triple, a double, and 2 runs scored. He displayed a quick bat and good bat speed with a live bat and some gap to gap power potential.
OF James McGhee (2014, Catholic HS, Pensacola, FL) chipped in going 1 for 2 with a triple, an RBI, a walk, a stolen base, and a run scored. Lead off man OF/RHP Gavin Wehby (2014, Pensacola Catholic, Navarre, FL) rounded out the attack going 1 for 3 with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored.
The Red Sox as a team scattered 10 hits, 6 of which went for extra bases including 5 triples.

The South Texas Diamondbacks have defeated Team Elite Black 4-3 after plating the tying and go-ahead runs in the bottom of the 6th. Leading the way for South Texas was OF John Pineda (2014, Mary Carroll HS, Corpus Christi, TX) who finished 2 for 3 with a stolen base and a run scored. Lead off man RHP EJ Garcia (2013, J.B. Alexander HS, Laredo, TX) finished 2 for 3 as well with a run scored. 3B Andres Gonzalez (2013, Zapata HS, Zapata, TX) chipped in going 1 for 2 with an RBI.
On the mound, Garcia got the start and went 2 innings allowing 1 run on no hits with 2 walks and a strikeout. He did a nice job of working quickly and attacking hitters with a heavy 90 MPH fastball and a good 11/5 curveball. Reliever Andrew Prado (2013, Nikki Rowe HS, McAllen, TX) was solid in his 2 2/3 innings allowing no runs on just 1 hit with no walks and 2 strikeouts while reaching 83 MPH on his fastball.
Lead off man SS Imani Willis (2014, Campbell HS, Marietta, GA) led the way for Team Elite going 1 for 2 with a walk and a run scored. Defensively, he displayed good lateral agility with soft hands and good fielding actions. He also showed a quick first step while he was on base.

The Dulin Dodgers have defeated Team Citius 9-2 led by starting pitcher Jesse McCord (2014, Spanish Fort HS, Spanish Fort Estates, AL). McCord pitched all 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits with 2 walks and 11 strikeouts. He showed a good mound presence and a smooth, balanced delivery with good command of his pitches that topped out at 88 MPH. McCord also chipped in at the plate going 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs.
Offensively, RHP Jordan Rodgers (2013, MUS HS, Arlington, TN) led the way going 1 for 2 with 3 RBIs and a run scored. He showed a sound hitting approach and a live bat with a fluid stroke and a line drive swing plane. Lead off man OF Jonathan Sherman (2013, Bishop Kenny HS, St. Augustine, FL) finished 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. OF Shane Tucker (2013, MUS, Memphis, TN) chipped in going 1 for 3 with a double, 2 RBIs, and a run scored. MIF Michael Bianco (2014, Oxford HS, Oxford, MS) rounded out the attack going 1 for 3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored.

Chain Black has defeated the Long Island Rays Gold 10-0 after 5 innings of play led by the complete game performance from starting pitcher Jordan Bradshaw (information unavailable). Bradshaw's line finished: 5 innings pitched allowing no runs on 2 hits with no walks and 5 strikeouts. He displayed a solid mound presence with good command and did a nice job of mixing speeds and keeping hitters off balance with a fastball/curveball/changeup combination that reached 78 MPH on the radar gun.
Offensively, lead off man 2B Jesus Massaratti (2013, Warner Robins HS, Warner Robins, GA) led the way going 2 for 2 with a triple, a walk, and 2 runs scored. Kip Evans (information unavailable) finished 1 for 1 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. RHP/1B Trevor Wood (2014, Dublin HS, Dexter, GA) chipped in going 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. Brett Gannaway (2014, McKinney, TX) got the start on the mound for the Frozen Ropes Thornton team. Gannaway threw 78-81 with his heater showing good command and heavy sinking action. He pitched downhill and hid the ball well in his delivery. Gannaway also used a good curve and good change with armside run. He controlled the running game and his pitches missed bats. Gannaway threw strikes and worked fast striking out four batters. Gannaway threw six innings allowing three earned runs off of four hits and walking only two.
Montana Sadler (2014, McKinney North, TX) came up with the winning run for the Frozen Ropes. Sadler was 1-2 at the dish showing a confident approach and was able to hit a screaming liner for a single today. Sadler was patient at the plate as he also drew one walk. In the infield Sadler showed fairly soft hand and the ability to make all the plays using his quick feet and quick release on throws.
For Team Elite White Payton Anderson (2014, Oconee County, GA) got the start throwing six innings allowing three earned runs off of five hits. Anderson effectively pitched inside on hitters using a good follow through. Anderson pitched downhill showing armside run on his 75-79 heater. He also used a good 11/5 breaking curve with good depth. Anderson struck out six hitters in the game.

Team Mizuno of PR 16u won Wednesday by defeating Central Florida Red Raiders by a final score of 9-1. Eduardo Clintron (2014, Manuel Mediavill, PR) threw all 5 innings of play from the mound for Team Mizuno. Clintron have up just 1 earned run on 1 hit. He struck out 6 and walked 4 in the game. Team Mizuno was led by Axel Lafuente (2013, Alfonso Casta, PR) at the plate. Lafuente was 2-2 with a double and 3 RBI. Jesus Santana (2013, Caguas Military, PR) added 2 RBI of his own for Team Mizuno as well.
The Raider lone hit came off the bat of Kyle Distler (2014, Bishop Moore, FL). Distler hit was a solo homer over the left field fence in the 2nd inning.

Ryan Avidano (2014, Starrs Mill, GA) was dominant on the mound today for the ABA Braves Blue team. Avidano threw five innings allowing only two hits and no earned runs. Avidano threw 78-82 with his heater throwing a curve as well to change speeds and keep hitters off balance. Avidano used a balanced delivery and good arm action to get good velocity and shut down the SF Prospects hitters.
On offense Logan Blackley (2014, Riverwood, GA) drove in two runs for the ABA Braves showing good bat speed. Blackley came up with clutch hitting for his team in their victory today. Tre Hudak (2014, McIntosh, GA) hit the only extra base hit for his team. Hudak used his gap to gap power to rip a double. He had a sound hitting approach at the game and drove in one run for the Braves.
For the SF Prospects Sardinas drove in two runs behind a triple in the top of the seventh. Sardinas showed good extension and raw power driving the ball into the gap for a triple. The SF Prospects made a run in the seventh scoring five runs, but finally Will Kilgore (2014, Columbus, GA) came in to get three outs with the bases loaded not allowing the tying run to cross.

Pitching for Palm Beach County PAL team was Austin Schultz (2014, Boca Raton, FL) who pitched all five innings allowing one earned run off of four hits. Schultz showed good extension out front and stayed tall on backside in his delivery. His sound mechanics helped him have success on the mound as he threw 77-81 with his fastball along with a plus 12/6 curve. He was able to keep his fastball down and showed good command and depth on his curve. Schultz struck out three batters in the game and walked only two.
On offense for Palm Beach County Matt Mika (2015, Park Vista, FL) came up big out of the lead off spot going 3-3 in the game. Mika showed skills typical of good lead off hitters using a quick bat and short compact swing. Mika ripped a double and drove in one run. He also showed off his speed scoring two runs and stealing one base. Palm Beach County PAL beat the Cincinnati Heat 9-1 in five innings.

Palm Beach Select got a win today be beating SCORE International 16u by a final score of 5-2. Palm Beach led the entire way by scoring 3 runs in the 1st inning and adding 2 more runs in the 3rd inning. Jessie Stebbins (2014, Okeechobee, FL) and Stephan Nobles (2013, Seminole, FL) led Palm Beach at the plate. Stebbins and Nobles both had a hit and 2 RBI. Pavin Smith (2014, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) pitched 3.1 innings for Palm Beach. Smith did not give up a hit and struck out 7 while walking no one. His fastball hit 87 mph and consistently ran 83-86 mph.
Seth Arroyo (2014, Rehobeth, AL) threw 3 innings of scoreless relief for SCORE. Arroyo scattered 4 hits and walked none in his 3 innings of work.

The Worcester Heat 16u took a quick 5-0 lead in the 1st inning, but that was not enough to defeat the East Cobb Braves. The Braves scored 6 in the 3rd on their way to an 8-5 victory over the Heat.
Steven Tomlinson (2014, Peachtree Ridge, Lawrenceville, GA) was 1-3 with a double, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored for the Braves. Weston McArthur (2014, Calhoun, Calhoun, GA) was 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Brad Schwartz (2013, Walton, Marietta, GA) was also 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Rhett Harper (2014, Southeast Whitfield, Dalton, GA) was 2-3.
Bo Tucker (2014, Rome, Rome, GA) pitched all 7 innings for the Braves, striking out 7 batters. He threw 62.7% of his pitches for strikes. His fastball ranged from 73-77 mph and topped out at 79 mph. He mixed in a low-60's curveball.

SF Elite Squad Red scored three runs in the first two innings and three more in the last two innings as they defeated Hit N Run Baseball 6-0.
Mark Nowatnick (2014, Cardinal Gibbons HS, Ft. Lauderdale, FL) pitched a complete game shut-out. Nowatnick surrendered just one hit and one walk. He had good command, outstanding arm speed, and life on his FB as he struck out 8. His fastball was ranging between 83-85mph and touched 87mph.
Tyler Norris (2014, Cardinal Gibbons HS, Pembroke Pines, FL) had a confident approach and showed off some good bat speed as he went 3-3 for SF Elite. Norris doubled and had 1 RBI. Brady Acton (2014, St. Thomas HS, Pembroke Pines, FL) also doubled and he batted 2-4 with 1 RBI.

Ostingers Baseball Academy 16U were solid on both sides of the ball as they beat Tennessee Dores Black 5-1.
Adam Gregorich (2014, Newsome HS, Lithia, FL) & Kamron Wilson (2013, Bloomingdale HS, Valrico, FL) both batted 2-4 for Ostingers. Both of them scored one run as well.
Donse, John Mason (2014, Newsome HS, Lithia, FL), & Nick Donnell (2014, Newsome HS, Lithia, FL) combined to two-hit Tennessee. Donse started and pitched three innings. He allowed no hits and struck out 3 while throwing 83-85mph on his fastball with a peak of 87mph. He pitched downhill, stayed tall on his backside, and had a smooth delivery. Mason had life on his FB and used a smooth delivery while pitching two innings and giving up no hits. He was ranging 81-86mph on his fastball. Donnell threw the final two frames and allowed one run on two hits. He struck out 2 and threw mid to upper 70s on his FB.

Cade Cruce (2014, Gunter HS, Denison, TX) showed off his raw power as he hit a 2-run HR for the Mets. Cruce had a confident approach and stayed inside the ball well. Michael Stephens (2014, Frisco HS, Frisco, TX) went 2-3 at the plate.
Zach Torres (2014, Melissa HS, Melissa, TX) pitched the final four innings for Dallas allowing one hit and walking one. He struck out 1 and touched 81mph on his fastball.
Matthew Rhodes (2014, Whitewater HS, Fayetteville, GA) tripled and had 1 RBI for Pure Hitting. Rhodes showed power potential at the plate.

Next Level Baseball erupted for 13 runs and shut-out the DBAT Mustangs Brady 13-0 after four.
Jared Barnes (2014, North Florida Christian HS, Tallahassee, FL) was impressive at the plate for Next Level. Barnes had excellent bat speed and showed he's got raw power as he hit a grand slam in the 2nd inning. He also had a sac fly and finished 3-3 with 5 RBIs.
Blake Reese (2015, Lincoln HS, Tallahassee, FL) also did well at the plate as he too went 3-3. Reese doubled and had 1 RBI. Evans Bozeman (2015, Pensacola Catholic HS, Pensacola, FL) doubled once as well and he batted 2-4 with 1 RBI. Both Reese and Bozeman crossed home plate twice.
Cole Sands (2015, North Florida Christian HS, Tallahassee, FL) pitched all four innings in the win and allowed just three hits. Sands struck out 6 and was consistently throwing 82-86mph on his fastball with a peak of 87mph. He had a smooth delivery and was around the plate with all pitches.

The Central Florida Bandits Underclass held a 1-0 lead going into the bottom of the 7th. Bullets Baseball 16u tied the game at 1, and then Nicholas Lycett (2015, Newsome, Lithia, FL) singled on a line drive to RF that brought home the winning run.
Ben Welch (2014, Strawberry Crest, Seffner, FL) and Derrek Smith (2015, Durant, Lithia, FL) were both 2-3 for Bullets Baseball. Smith is a line drive contact hitter with a sound hitting approach and good bat speed.
Sam Miller (2014, Bloomingdale, Valrico, FL) pitched 5 innings and struck out 3 batters for Bullets Baseball. He showed good command by throwing 70.7% of his pitches for strikes. Miller has a good follow through and pitches downhill. He keeps his fastball down, and his fastball ranged from 74-77 mph and topped out at 81 mph. He mixed in an upper-60's curveball and lower-70's changeup.
Clayton Wills (2014, Boone, Orlando, FL) pitched 3 innings and struck out 2 batters for the Bandits. He has a smooth delivery and is around the plate with all of his pitches. Wills attacks hitters with his fastball that ranged from 76-78 mph and topped out at 80 mph. He had a good 1/7 upper-60's curveball.

The 643 DP Jaguars took a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning, and added another 2 runs in the 2nd. 1 run was enough support as the Jaguars shut out the Florida Hardballers 5-0. The Jaguars played sharp defense and did not commit any errors.
Zachery Smith (2014, McEachern, Powder Springs, GA) went 1-3 with a double and 2 RBI's for the Jaguars. Paul Dwyer (2014, Blessed Trinity, Roswell, GA) was 1-1 with 2 walks. James Topping (2014, Lovett, Atlanta, GA) was1-2 with a double and 1 RBI.
Conrad Cornell (2014, Westminster, Covington, GA) earned the win by pitching all 7 innings and striking out 6 batters. His fastball ranged from 79-82 mph and topped out at 83 mph. He showed a good slider that was in the low-70's. He also threw a low-70's changeup.
Call Graham (2014, South Sumter, Chiefland, FL) pitched 4 innings and struck out 3 batters for the Hardballers. His fastball ranged from 80-83 mph and topped out at 84 mph. He had an upper-60's curveball and a upper-60's slider.

Team Elite White were down 5-1 heading into the final inning, but they were able to put some offense together just in time and went off for 8 runs in the 6th inning to take the lead. SF Elite Squad Red got two runs back in the bottom of the 6th, but they couldn't get any closer as Team Elite White won the game 9-7 in six innings.
Joey Ruiz (2014, Peachtree Ridge HS, Suwanee, GA) had a big game at the plate for Team Elite White. Ruiz was aggressive and had a fluid stroke as he batted 4-4 with a double and 2 RBIs. CJ Edmond (2014, Johns Creek HS, Alpharetta, GA) tripled and finished with 3 RBIs in the win.
Michael Brenner (2014, Bucky Dent Academy, Boca Raton, FL) doubled and finished 2-3 with 3 RBIs for SF Elite. Brenner had an athletic, projectable frame. Chandler Cissel (2014, Pine Crest HS, Pembroke Pines, FL) had 2 RBIs in the loss.

Steven Burgos (2013, Dra Conchita Cuevas, PR) went 1 for 1 and came around to score the games only run. Kevin Cordero (2013, Caguas Military Academy, PR) pitched in with a double and an RBI. Jonathan Bermudez (2013, Jose Felipe Zayas, PR) pitched seven innings and struck out nine. He allowed four hits and walked only one. His pitches were around the strike zone 71% of the time. Bermudez's fastball was between 79-82 mph and topped out at 83. Along with his fastball he had a good curve ball to keep the hitters off balance.

Waldren's line finished: 7 innings pitched allowing 3 runs on 8 hits with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. On the mound, he showed a good mound presence with a balanced delivery, good command and feel for his breaking ball and hit 81 MPH on his fastball.
Waldren also led the offense going 2 for 2 with a double, 2 RBIs, a walk, and a run scored. At the plate, he displayed a good eye and a confident approach with good plate coverage and good extension in his swing.

The SF Elite Squad White scored at least 2 runs in all 4 innings on offense. They had an 8-0 lead built up after 2 innings. They connected for 10 hits as a team on their way to defeating the New York Grays 16u 13-1.
Zack Kone (2015, Pine Crest, Boca Raton, FL) was 2-3 with a double, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored for the SF Elite. Joseph Acosta (2014, Belen Jesuit, Miami, FL) had a big day at the plate going 2-3 with a Home Run, 4 RBI's, and 1 run scored. Acosta has a sound hitting approach, makes line drive contact, and has power potential. Dominic DiCaprio (2015, Stoneman Douglas, Coral Springs, FL) was 1-1 with 1 RBI. Behind the plate DiCaprio showed good catch and throw potential and good arm strength.

Leading the way for Team Citius was starting pitcher Tyler Brandon (2014, Seton Hall Prep, New York, NY) who went the distance allowing no runs on just 2 hits with a walk and 9 strikeouts. He did a great job of competing on the mound and attacked Marucci hitters with his 87 MPH fastball. He also had good command of his pitches and featured a solid 12/6 curveball.
Offensively, C Michael Cantu (2014, Carroll HS, Corpus Christi, TX) led the way going 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBIs. The SF Prospects scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning, which turned out to be all the run support they needed. They scored 5 more runs in the 2nd on their way to defeating the Central Florida Red Raiders 8-0.

Jason Heinrich (2015, River Ridge HS, Spring Hill, FL), David Paul (2014, Clearwater Central Catholic HS, Tarpon Springs, FL), & Tyler Hawks (2015, River Ridge HS, New Port Richey, FL) all had two hits in the game for Hit N Run Baseball. Heinrich had a fluid stroke with good bat speed and raw power. He finished with 2 RBIs. Paul had 1 RBI and scored one run. Hawks doubled and had 3 RBIs in the win.
Will Olson (2014, Sherman HS, Sherman, TX) doubled twice and went 3-4 with 1 RBI for Frozen Ropes. Olson was an aggressive hitter and showed power potential. Palm Beach county PAL got off to a strong start and put the game away for good with 3 runs in the top of the 7th en route to a 9-2 victory over the Dallas Mets.
Five players for Palm Beach accounted for 10 of their total 13 hits. Matthew Mika (2015, Park Vista HS, Lake Worth, FL), Kevin Fry (2014, Jupiter HS, Jupiter, FL), Logan Heiser (2014, Jupiter HS, Jupiter, FL), & Kyle Houck (2014, Royal Palm Beach HS, Royal Palm Beach, FL) all went 2-4 at the plate. Mika had a quick, live bat and even scored a run. Fry doubled and finished with 2 RBIs. He stayed inside the ball well and had lift in his swing. Heiser showed a confident approach and had good bat speed as he tripled and had 1 RBI. Houck also had 1 RBI and he showed power potential at the plate. Benjamin McGrath (2014, Oxbridge Academy, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) batted 2-3 with a triple and he scored two runs. McGrath showed he could hit to all fields and stayed inside the ball well.
Shane Sawczak (2014, Palm Beach Central HS, Lake Worth, FL) started and pitched four innings for PAL. He allowed two runs on six hits and struck out two. Sawczak step up hitters, changed speeds, and had sound mechanics on the mound. He threw 79-81mph on his fastball and touched 83mph.

The 643 DP Cougars took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning. They held that lead through 4 innings, and in the top of the 5th the So Cal NTT 16u tied the game 1-1. So Cal added another run in the top of the 7th to take their first lead of the game at 2-1. The Cougars were able to get 1 run of their own, and the game ended in a 2-2 tie. Both teams were held to just 3 hits.
Jake Johnson (2014, Westminster, Atlanta, GA) went 2-3 with a triple and 1 run scored for the Cougars. Peter Zyla (2014, St. Pius X, Alpharetta, GA) was 1-2.

The Florida Burn Orange improved their record to 4-1 in pool play as they recorded their second shut-out victory. This time, the Orange won 12-0 in four innings over the South Texas Diamondbacks.
Jared Pruett (2014, Sarasota Riverview HS, Sarasota, FL) & Jackson Baker (2014, Sanford Seminole HS, Lake Mary, FL) both doubled and drove in 3 RBIs each. Kyle Gilbert (2014, Sanford Seminole HS, Lake Mary, FL) & Ben Carson (2015, Plant City HS, Plant City, FL) each had two hits in the win. Gilbert finished 2-3 and scored three runs and Carson batted 2-2 and scored one run.
Brandon Elmy (2014, Venice HS, Osprey, FL) pitched the first three innings for the Orange. Elmy allowed just one hit. The RHP pitched downhill, stayed tall on his backside, and had good command on the mound. He struck out 4.

Florida Burn Silver has defeated the Excel Blue Sox 7-6 after 7 innings of play on a walk-off single from OF Rhett Dinka (2014, Venice HS, Venice, FL) that plated OF Braden Rollins (2015, Lake Mary HS, Lake Mary, FL) who had singled with 1 out in the inning. For the game, Dinka finished 2 for 4 with a double, an RBI, and a run scored while displaying a confident approach at the plate with a quick bat and some lift in his swing. Rollins also finished 2 for 4 with a double, an RBI, a stolen base, and 2 runs scored.
C/3B Bret Maxwell (2014, Northeast HS, St. Petersburg, FL) chipped in a nice game going 1 for 3 with 2 RBIs and a walk. Lead off man OF JP Colton (2015, Winter Park HS, Maitland, FL) rounded out the attack going 1 for 3 with a walk, a stolen base, and 2 runs scored.
On the mound, starter RHP Michael Byrne (2015, Olympia HS, Orlando, FL) threw 4 1/3 innings allowing 6 runs (just 1 earned) on 9 hits with no walks and 6 strikeouts. He did a nice job of working quickly and featured a good curveball, and a good, heavy fastball that hit 82 MPH. Reliever Dillon McCullough (2015, Pine Ridge HS, Deltona, FL) then came on and threw the final 2 2/3 innings allowing no runs on 3 hits with a walk and a strikeout.
For the Blue Sox, starting pitcher Josh Rich (2014, Spain Park HS, Hoover, AL) went the distance allowing 7 runs (just 2 earned) on 9 hits with 3 walks and 10 strikeouts. He showed a good mound presence and competed well with a balanced delivery and the ability to throw to both sides of the plate. Rich also displayed good command, and a good fastball/slider combination that topped out at 85 MPH.
Offensively, C Hayden White (2014, Prattville HS, Prattville, AL) led the way going 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. MIF Price Visintainer (2014, Vestavia HS, Vestavia Hills, AL) finished 3 for 4 as well with a triple, a double, and a run scored. OF Colton Turner (2014, Oxford HS, Oxford, AL) chipped in going 2 for 3 with a triple and a run scored.
MIF Chris Cusimano (2014, Vestavia HS, Vestavia Hills, AL) rounded out the attack giong 1 for 3 with a triple, 2 RBIs, and a run scored. He displayed a sound hitting approach with some gap power, good bat speed and good extension with a line drive swing plane.

The Northern Ohio Baseball Club has tied Team Gwinnett 3-3 after 7 innings of play. Leading the way for Northern Ohio was starting pitcher Frankie Cioffi (2014, Walsh Jesuit HS, Tallmadge, OH) who threw 6 1/3 innings allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. He displayed sound mechanics and a smooth delivery with a good fastball that reached 81 MPH on the radar gun.
Offensively, C Trevor Boslett (2014, Mentor Lake Catholic, Fairpoint Harbor, OH) led the way going 1 for 2 with a double, an RBI, and a walk. He showed a fluid stroke with a sound, confident hitting approach and a short, compact swing with good bat speed. C/RHP Justin Mott (2014, Amherst Steele HS, Amherst, OH) and 2B Bryan Bielak (2014, North Royalton HS, North Royalton, OH) each finished 1 for 3 with a run scored. For Team Gwinnett, starting LHP Lott Gwin (2014, Marist School, Atlanta, GA) threw 3 innings allowing 3 runs on 3 hits with 4 walks and a strikeout. He did a nice job of working quickly and attacking hitters with a good fastball/curveball/changeup combination that topped out at 80 MPH. Reliever Liam Cotter (2014, Marist School, Stone Mountain, GA) then came on and threw 3 perfect innings of relief with 3 strikeouts while hitting 84 MPH on his fastball.

The Dulin Dodgers racked up eight runs on 10 hits and defeated the Florida Prowlers Team Easton 8-0 in five innings.
Jake Durham (2014, Covington HS, Burlison, TN) pitched a no-hitter. Durham had good command, attacked hitters, and was aggressive with his FB. He was around the plate with all pitches and had a smooth, online delivery as he struck out 6. The crafty lefty threw low to mid-70s on his fastball.
Hagen Owenby (2014, Knoxville HS, Knoxville, TN) & Michael Fitzsimmons (2014, Memphis University School, Eads, TN) each had two hits in the game. Owenby tripled and scored two runs while showing a fluid stroke and good bat speed. Fitzsimmons doubled once and showed off a live bat with raw power. He had 1 RBI. Jordan Rodgers (2013, MUS, Arlington, TN) tripled and drove in two runs. Shane Tucker (2013, MUS, Memphis, TN) batted 2-2 with a double in the win. Tucker had a good eye at the plate.

Boca Thunder Baseball has defeated the All American Prospects Red 1-0 behind the solid pitching efforts from starter RHP Alex Bialakis (2015, Pope John Paul II HS, Boca Raton, HS) and reliever Joshua Parker (2015, Pope John Paul II HS, Boca Raton, FL). Bialakis threw the first 5 innings allowing no runs on 5 hits with 4 walks and 2 strikeouts while reaching 84 MPH on the radar gun. Parker then came on and threw the 6th and 7th innings allowing no runs or hits with a walk and 5 strikeouts while also reaching 84 MPH on his fastball.
Parker also led the offensive attack going 1 for 3 driving in the only run of the game. OF Matthew Luzzi (2014, Pope John Paul II HS, Boca Raton, FL) finished 0 for 1 with 2 walks, a stolen base, and a run scored.

Florida Burn Silver started the game off strong by scoring 5 runs in the first inning and adding 6 more runs by the end of the 4th inning to make it a quick game against the Jersey Seminoles with a final score of 11-4. The Burn managed to bring in 11 runs off of 7 hits while the Seminoles only scored 4 runs off of 8 hits.
Braden Rollins (2015, Lake Mary, FL) and JJ Woodard (2015, Oviedo, FL) lead Florida Burn Silver to victory after combining for 5 of their 11 runs and 4 of their 7 hits. Rollins ended the day 2-2 with 4 stolen bases, 3 scored runs and 1 RBI. Rollins had a quick bat with a line-drive swing plane to bring in runs for the Burn. Woodard was equally impressive, finishing the game 2-3 with 1 double, 4 RBI's and 2 of their 11 runs thanks to his ability to stay inside the ball while at the plate.
For the Seminoles, Dan Gallagher (2014, Paramus Catholic, NY) was the top performer, going 2-2 and scoring 2 of their 4 runs in the game. Gallagher showed patience at the plate and good bat speed to wait for the right pitch to get on base and score runs for the Seminoles. Vincenzo Sita (2014, Saint Peter's Prep, NJ) also chipped in for the Seminoles, going 1-2 with 1 double and 1 scored run, but his efforts weren't enough to carry the Seminoles to victory.

The Worcester Heat 16u won Tuesday against Gator Baseball Academy by a final score of 8-0. The Heat sent Austin Cave (2013, St. Marks, MA) to the mound for the start. Cave threw all 5 innings of play from the bump. Cave allowed just 1 hit and struck out 8 while walking 3. His fastball peaked at 81 mph and consistently ranged from 77-80 mph. The Heat's Michael Davis (2014, Milton Academy, MA) was 2-4 at the dish with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Malik Daley (2014, Algonquin Region, MA) also had a nice day at the plate for the Heat. Daley was 2-3 with a double, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Nick Johnson (2013, St Johns, MA) added 3 RBI of his own as well.

The SF Elite Squad White got a win today be defeating So Call NTT 16u by a final score of 5-2. The Elite received a sound pithing performance by Andy Rohloff (2014, Monarch, FL). Rohloff threw 5 innings and gave up 2 earned runs while scattering 6 hits. He struck out 9 and walked none in the game. Rohloff's fastball consistently ranged from 82-85 mph.
At the plate for the Elite, David Villar (2015, American Heritage, FL) led the way. Villar collected 2 hits and finished the game 2-3 with 1 run scored. Joseph Acosta (2014, Belen Jesuit, FL) had a triple in the game for the Elite.
So Cal's Brian Rapp (2014, Delbarton, NJ) was 2-2 at the plate with a double.

Team Elite Grey came out swinging against Central Florida Red Raiders as they managed to tally 15 runs off of 16 hits in their huge victory, with a final score of 15-4.
Logan Moseley (2014, Mill Creek, GA) and Montrell Marshall (2014, South Gwinett, GA) each went yard for Team Elite today to help carry them to victory. Logan Moseley finished 2-3 with 4 RBI's and 1 run after hitting a 2-run home run in the top of the 4th inning. Marshall was equally impressive, going 3-4 on the day with 3 RBI's and scoring 3 runs thanks to his 3-run home run in the top of the 3rd inning. Marshall and Moseley showed good bat speed with a live bat to help them drive the ball into the gaps.
Brandon Frazier (2014, Oconee County, GA) and Garrett Green (2014, North Oconee, GA) also had solid offensive performances for Team Elite. Frazier ended the day 2-3 with 1 double, 1 run and 2 RBI's while Green went 3-3 with 1 double, 1 run and 1 RBI.
For the Red Raiders, Alan Hayes (2014, Lyman, FL) and Darius Rush (2014, Seminole, FL) combined for 3 of their team's 4 runs, 3 hits, 1 RBI, 1 triple and 1 stolen base but they couldn't do much more as they suffered their 2nd loss of the tournament.

LHP Matthew Meyer (2014, Bayside, FL) made his presence known from the mound while throwing a complete 7-inning game for SCORE International 16U. Meyer was able to retire 12 of the 21 batters that stepped to the plate and allowed 4 hits and only 2 runs throughout the game. Of his 112 pitches thrown, 74 were called strikes. He showed good command of his pitches around the plate thanks to his quick arm. Meyer's fastball averaged 79-82 mph and topped out at 83 mph.
Michael Mcguire (2015, FL) was the top performer for SCORE International, going 3-4 on the day and driving in 3 RBI's while adding 1 of their 6 runs. Mcguire also added 3 doubles and 1 stolen base to lead SCORE International to a 6-2 victory over DBAT Mustangs Westmoreland. Mcguire had a quick, fluid stroke and was able to stay inside the ball well to drive the ball to all parts of the field while at the plate.
For the DBAT Mustangs, Chris Glover (2014, Rockwall, TX) did all that he could to help his team after going 1-2 on the day with 1 double and scoring both of the Mustangs' runs against SCORE International. Glover showed a sound hitting approach and had good bat speed to get hits and bring in runs for the Mustangs.

Hit N Run Baseball took an early 2-0 lead in the 1st inning. That lead didn't last long as Team Elite White answered with 3 runs in their half of the 1st. Hit N Run scored 7 runs in the 2nd, and kept the lead for the rest of the game. They won with a final score of 14-6.
Jason Heinrich (2015, River Ridge, Spring Hill, FL) went 2-3 with a double, 4 RBI's, and 1 run scored for Hit N Run. He has a confident approach at the plate and showed raw power. Keegan Maronpot (2014, East Lake, Tarpon Springs, FL) was 2-4 with a triple, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored. He has a sound hitting approach, make very hard contact, and has good bat speed.
David Paul (2014, Clearwater Central, Tarpon Springs, FL) earned the win on the mound for Hit N Run. He pitched all 7 innings and struck out 4 batters. He showed good control on both sides of the plate and he throws strikes. He has armside run on his fastball that ranged from 77-82 mph and topped out at 84 mph. Jonathan Soberanes (2014, Sachse, Sachse, TX) was 2-2 with 3 runs scored from the lead-off spot for the Mets. He has a balanced swing, stays inside the ball well, and makes very hard contact. Cade Cruce (2014, Gunter, Denison, TX) was 2-2 with a double, 3 RBI's, and 2 runs scored. He showed a sound hitting approach with good bat speed and power potential. Omar Salinas (2014, Arlington, Arlington, TX) was 3-3 with a triple and 4 RBI's. He has a quiet hitting approach with a quick bat and raw power.

DBAT Mustangs Brady took a quick 4-0 lead in the top of the 1st. They scored 2 in the 4th and 1 in the 6th as they defeated the SF Prospects Navy 7-0. The Mustangs collected 10 hits as a team and played error-less baseball.

Team Gwinnett put five runs on the board in the 1st inning and added three more in the 3rd as they beat the Central Florida Bandits Underclass 8-1. Although allowing 1 run to score, Team Gwinnett used three pitchers to combine for a no-hitter. Michael Toner (2014, Marist HS, Cumming, GA) pitched the first three innings. He walked one and struck out 3 while consistently throwing 81-83mph on his fastball. He showed good command and was around the plate with all pitches as he kept hitters off balance. Jake Mayo (2014, Buford HS, Sugar Hill, GA) & Patrick Burnette (2014, Buford HS, Buford, GA) helped Toner achieve the no-hitter for Team Gwinnett. Both relievers threw high 70s on their fastballs.

Team Citius Roland took a 5-2 lead into the top of the 5th inning. The Tennessee Dores Black rallied for 5 runs in the 5th and 6 runs in the 6th to pull out a 13-5 victory. The Dores Black had 11 hits as a team and took advantage of 6 Team Citius errors.

Next Level Baseball had a 3-0 lead going into the bottom of the 5th. The ABA Braves Blue scored 3 runs to tie the score, and Next Level Baseball couldn't answer with a run of their own. The Braves scored 1 more run in the 6th to take the lead. The Braves held on to that lead for a 4-3 victory.
Grant Drakeford (2014, Riverwood, Atlanta, GA) went 1-2 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored for the Braves. Logan Blackley (2014, Riverwood, Lithia Springs, GA) also went 1-2 with 1 RBI. Bryce Gemmel (2014, East Coweta, Newnan, GA) was 1-2 with 1 run scored and 2 stolen bases. Nick Poskey (2014, Columbus, Columbus, GA) showed well on defense for the Braves. He blocks well behind the plate, has quick feet, and has lateral agility.
Ben Baggett (2015, Landmark Christian, Fayetteville, GA) pitched 3.2 innings with 4 strike outs for the Braves. He showed good command by throwing 76.5% of his pitches for strikes. Stephen Gogreve (2015, Pope John Paul II HS, Boca Raton, FL) went 3-3 with a double for Boca Thunder. Gogreve ran the bases well and scored three runs. He also pitched four innings and showed sound mechanics on the mound. He attacked hitters, effectively pitched inside, and had good command on his fastball.

Both teams played well on defense, committing no errors.

The Dulin Dodgers were able to hold off a late rally from Marucci Elite Red to win the game 11-4. The Dodgers were led by 2014 Jesse McCord (Spanish Fort Estates, AL, Spanish Fort) who drove in three runs. McCord had a triple and a double in the game. McCord stays inside the ball well and has a quick bat. 2014 Hagen Owenby (Knoxville, TN, Knoxville) drove in two runs and had a big double. Owenby has a large, athletic frame and excellent bat speed. 2014 Preston Parish (Cordova, TN, ECS) had two doubles in the game. Parrish has power potential and the ball really jumps off his bat.
2014 Emil Ellis (Ridgeland, MS, Ridgeland) had a pair of hits for Marucci and stole a base. Marucci also got two hits and an RBI from 2014 Hunter Landaiche (Pontchatoula, LA, Pontchatoula).

The New York Grays and the 643 DP Cougars had a close game going from the start. The Grays opened with 4 runs in the 1st, which were answered with 3 runs from the Cougars. The Grays had a 6-4 lead going into the bottom of the 5th, until the Cougars scored 3 runs to take their first lead of the game. The Grays responded with 3 runs in the top of the 6th, which was enough to earn a 9-7 victory.

Chain Black had four different players in their lineup that recorded multiple hits. 2013 Jake Norton (Lagrange, GA, Lagrange) had a double, single, and drove in three runs for Chain Black. 2014 Matthew Powell (Warner Robins, GA, Trutlen) had a great approach at the plate reaching base in all four of his at bats. Powell had a double, single, drove in a run, and walked twice. He has a quick bat and showed power potential. 2014 Daniel Tefft (Valdosta, GA, Valdosta) drove in a pair of runs in the game.
2014 Parker Bennett (Adel, GA, Cook County) was on the mound for Chain Black and pitched four innings striking out three batters. Bennett allowed just two hits in the game. Bennet was throwing his fastball 71-76mph in the game and showed a good curveball.

The East Cobb Braves and Florida Pokers Underclass White were scoreless through 5 innings. The Braves scored 3 runs in the top of the 6th to break the scoreless tie. They added another 2 runs in the 7th, and the Pokers White were unable to get on the board. The Braves won with a final score of 5-0. The Pokers White were held to just 1 hit through 7 innings.
Steven Tomlinson (2014, Peachtree Ridge, Lawrenceville, GA) was 2-4 with 2 runs scored for the Braves. He is an aggressive hitter with a compact swing. The South Texas Diamondbacks scored 5 runs in the 5th inning to cap off a 9-0 victory over the Tennessee Dores Gold. The Diamondbacks had 11 hits as a team and only gave up 3 hits on defense. They played sharp defense and did not commit any errors.
John Pineda (2014, Mary Carroll, Corpus Christi, TX) was 2-2 from the lead-off spot for the Diamondbacks, he had 1 RBI, 1 walk, and 1 run scored. Pineda is a line drive contact hitter with good bat speed. On defense he showed quick feet and good arm strength. Ariel Armando Barre (2013, Roma, Roma, TX) was 1-1 with a triple, 2 RBI's, and 1 run scored. He has a power approach at the plate, good bat speed, and power to all fields. The Team Elite Black offense just couldn't get anything going in their 6-0 loss to the Florida Burn Orange. Florida Burn starting pitcher 2013 Josh Grubbs (Nokomis, FL, Venice) threw four scoreless innings and struck out three batters. Grubbs allowed just two hits in the outing. The right-hander throws his fastball 78-81mph. He was relieved by 2013 Mason Smith (Vero Beach, FL, Master's Academy) who pitched two innings without allowing a hit. Smith throws 80-81mph and has a decent curveball.
Florida was led offensively by 2014 Dalton Guthrie (Sarasota, FL, Venice) who had three hits and drove in one run. The infielder is a patient hitter and sound defensively. Guthrie also showed his speed with a stolen base in the game. 2014 Jared Pruett (Sarasota, FL, Sarasota Riverview) had a hit and scored twice for the Burn.

The Indiana Prospects took advantage of a Chet Lemon's Junce 16u errors and won easily 11-0. 2014 Colby Sweat (Pace, FL, Pace) drove in four runs for the Prospects on a double and a single. 2014 Grant Malott (New Castle, IN, New Castle) had a double and drove in three runs in the game. 2014 Gage Rogers (Bloomington, IN, Bloomington South) had a great approach at the plate, reaching base in all four at bats. Rogers had a pair of singles and drove in a run. 2014 Harry Shipley (Fishers, IN, Cathedral) had a hit, two stolen bases, and plays excellent defense.
2014 Griffin Hulecki (Fishers, IN, Fishers) started on the mound and pitched five shutout innings. Hulecki allowed just one hit in the game. Hulecki has a smooth delivery and a 75-79mph fastball that has good movement.

2014 Reynaldo Hernandez (New York City, NY, George Washington) of Team Citius was too much for Florida Prowlers Team Easton in their 8-0 win. Hernandez pitched five shutout innings striking out seven batters. The 6'4'' 225lb lefty allowed just two Prowlers hits. Hernandez has a smooth delievery and throws a 78-82mph fastball with a sharp break curveball.
2014 Kenneth Cullen Vaught (Corpus Christi, TX, Callalen) had a pair of singles, drove in a run, and stole a base for Team Citius. Vaught has a live bat and drives the ball with regular contact. 2015 Chase Whetsel (Refugio, TX, Refugio) had a big two-double as well for Team Citius. 2014 Tristan Rojas (Bronx, NY, St. Raymond) went 2-2 with a double and a run driven in. Rojas has a confident approach at the plate.

Jacksonville Royals Blue were able to shut down the IBAHS Knights offense in their 6-1 win. 2014 Mitchell Horowitz (Jacksonville, FL, Bolles) started on the mound for Jacksonsville and pitched six innings allowing just one unearned run. Horowitz struck out five batters and showed good command. Horowitz throws his fastball 81-83mph and has a good curveball to compliment it.
2014 Nick Koslowski (Jacksonville, FL, Atlantic Coast) had a pair of hits for Jacksonsville including a two-run triple in the bottom of the third inning. Koslowski hits the ball hard and runs well on the bases. 2014 Zack Smith (Jacksonsville, FL, Episcopal School of Jacksonville) had a pair of hits and drove in one run. 2014 Christian Jones (Jacksonville, Eagles View) had a big double that drove in a run for the Royals.

The SF Prospects and Team Mizuno of PR 16u were tied 2-2 when they entered the 6th inning. The Prospects were able to score 1 run to take a 3-2 lead. Team Mizuno answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th, and were able to hold off for a 6-4 victory.
Luis Vazquez (2013, Rafael Cordero M, Juncos, PR) earned the win on the mound for Team Mizuno. He pitched 5 innings and struck out 8 batters. He has good mound presence and throws strikes. Vazquez' fastball ranged from 74-80 mph and topped out at 83 mph. He changed speeds with a low 60's curveball and a low-70's changeup.
Wilfred Estrella (2013, PRBAHS, Juncos, PR) went 1-2 with 2 RBI's and 1 walk for Team Mizuno. Kevin Cordero (2013, Caguas Military Academy, Juncos, PR), Axel Lafuente (2013, Alfonso Casta, Juncos, PR), and Angel Rodriguez (2013, Ramon Quinonez, Juncos, PR) were all 1-3 with 1 RBI.

The Tampa Suns were able to push across the only run of the game on a sac fly in the fourth inning and held on to beat the Richmond Braves West 1-0. Tampa pitcher 2015 Andrew Mink (Clearwater, FL, Clearwater Central) pitched 5.1 strong innings striking out two batters. The right-hander allowed just four hits and showed good command. Mink has a 71-76 fastball and good break to his curveball.
2014 CJ Lowe (Riverview, FL, Riverview) led the way for the Suns offensively with a pair of hits. 2015 Drew Vimond (St. Pete, FL, St. Pete) drove in the only run of the game on his sac fly. Vimond has an athletic frame and projects as a middle of the order type of hitter.
2014 Hunter Floyd (Madison Heights, VA, Amherst County) started on the mound for the Braves and went 5.1 innings striking out five hitters. Floyd attacks hitters and has a 80-83mph fastball. Floyd also has a good curveball that he likes to use to keep the batters off balance.

All American Prospects Red got a stellar start from pitcher 2014 Matt Vaka (Tampa, FL, Plant) in their 9-1 win over the 643 DP Jaguars. Vaka struck out eleven batters and gave up just four hits. Vaka attacks batters with his 82-84mph fastball. Vaka also had a good day at the plate with a double and driving in two runs.
2015 Kyle Tucker (Tampa, FL Plant) led the way offensively for the Prospects goign 2-2 with a double and an RBI. Tucker is a patient hitter and showed an ability to hit the ball to all fields. 2014 Stephen Chamblee (Tampa, FL, Plant) had a pair of hits and scored two times for All American. Chamblee is an aggressive hitter with power potential. 2015 Jacob Woodford (Tampa, FL, Plant drove in three batters in the game.
The Jaguars were led by 2014 Michael Branigan (Cumming, GA, Central Forsyth) who had the only extra base hit of the game for their team.

The Palm Beach Select got to an early 3-0 lead in the 1st inning. They did not stop there as they rallied for 2 more in the second to extend their lead. The ABA Braves were unable to score a run, as the Select went on to win 8-0. The Select had 10 hits as a team and only allowed 3 hits through 5 innings.
Cody Wilson (2015, Dwyer, Jupiter, FL) was 2-3 from the lead-off spot for the Select. He had a double, 1 RBI, scored 1 run, and stole 1 base. He was an aggressive hitter with good bat speed. Christian Crews (2014, Okeechobee, Okeechobee, FL) was 3-3 with 2 RBI's, 2 runs scored, and 1 stolen base. Crews has a compact swing and stays inside the ball well. Steven Pietrzyk (2014, Estero, Estero, FL) went 2-3 with 3 RBI's. He is an aggressive hitter with a line drive swing plane. Will Engel (2014, Suncoast, Jupiter, FL) was 1-2 with 1 RBI. He is a patient hitter with a line drive swing plane.

The Northern Ohio Baseball Club had a big 12 run inning that set the tone for their 14-0 victory over Bullets Baseball 16U. Leadoff hitter 2014 Bryan Bielak (North Royalton, OH, North Royalton) had a big game at the plate going 2-3 with a double, run batted in, and scoring twice. Bielak has good bat speed and raw power. 2014 Nick Longo (Highland Heights, OH, St. Ignatius) had two hits, including a triple, and drove in three runs for Northern Ohio. Longo has gap power and runs well on the bases. 2014 Joe Cahill (Hinckley, OH, Walsh Jesuit) drove in two on the game and had a triple. Cahill is an aggressive hitter with a live bat.
2014 Nick Fabian (Stongsville, OH, St. Ignatius) pitched three scoreless innings striking out four batters. Fabian gave up just one hit in the outing and showed good command. The right-hander throws his fastball 77-81mph and likes to use his curveball as well.

SWFL Baseball 16u scored a run in all 4 innings in their 12-0 win over the Long Island Rays Gold. They played error-less baseball and collected 9 hits as a team.
Jonah Owenby (2014, Fort Myers, Fort Myers, FL) pitched all 4 innings for SWFL. He did not allow a hit and struck out 4 batters. He was around the plate with all of his pitches, and threw 81.8% of his pitches for strikes. He showed a balanced delivery with a good follow through. He has armside run on his fastball that ranged from 76-79 mph and it topped out at 81 mph. He keeps hitters off balance with a slider that was in the low-70's.
Matthew Richey (2014, Cape Coral, Cape Coral, FL) went 2-2 with 3 RBI's and 2 doubles for SWFL. Donovan Petrey (2015, DeSoto, Arcadia, FL) was 2-3 with a triple, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored. The Excel Blue Sox got their offense going early and often against the Memphis Tigers in their 12-2 win. The Tigers scored two in the top of the first inning but that was all that their offense was able to muster against 2014 Jack Pierce (Pelham, AL, Pelham). Pierce a pitched five innings striking out eleven batters and walking just one. The 6'3'' 230lb lefty has a smooth delivery and pitches downhill. Pierce throws an 80-82mph fastball and has a tight, late breaking slider.
At the plate for the Blue Sox 2014 Hayden White (Prattville, AL, Pelham) and 2014 Austin Haight (Birmingham, AL, Spain Park) led the way at the top of the order. White went 2-2 with a triple and an RBI in the game. White is an aggressive hitter with good bat speed that drives the ball with regular contact. Austin Haight went 2-3 with an two-run double in the thrid inning. 2014 Dalton Cobb (Anniston, AL, Saks) had a big two-run homerun in the fourth inning for the Blue Sox. Cobb has a live bat with power potential.

Dakin Alderson (2015, Corpus Christi, TX) drove in two runs while Daniel Amador (2014, Beeville, TX) scored twice and added two hits to a 5-4 victory over the 643 DP Cougars on Monday. Team Citius Roland got the scoring rolling in the top of the second when they posted two runs before and an error and a sac fly for the 643 DP Cougars evened the score. Both teams added two more runs each before Daniel Amador scored the winning run on a defensive error in the top of the 6th. Will Hudgins (2014, Dunwoody, GA) led the offensive charge for the 643 DP Cougars, having a perfect 3-3 day and only being a HR short of the cycle.
Hudgins also topped out at 82 while fanning two during one inning of work on the hill. Joseph Robbins (2015, Mesquite, TX) pitched 2.2 innings while only allowing one earned to earn himself the win.

SWFL Baseball 16u defeated Richmond Braves West by a score of 6-4. SWFL Baseball only had 3 hits in the game but made the most of them. Matt Zino (2014, Barron Collier, FL) delivered for SWFL Baseball with a bases clearing triple in the bottom of the 1st inning. Zino finished the game 1-2 with 3 RBI. SWFL Baseball started Demitry Zafra (2014, Palmetto Ridge, FL) on the hill. Zafra threw 4 innings and gave up 2 earned runs on 5 hits while striking out 1. His fastball peaked at 84 mph on the radar gun during the game.
The Braves cut the lead down to 3-4 but that would be the closest they got as SWFL Baseball added 2 more runs. Kyle Farkas (2014, Douglas Freeman, VA) was 2-3 in the game with 1 run scored for the Braves. Josh Barrick (2014, Lynchburg Christian, VA) added a triple for the Braves and finished 1-3 with RBI.

Braden Rollins (2015, Lake Mary HS, Lake Mary, FL) doubled twice and recorded 1 RBI for Florida. Michael Byrne (2015, Olympia HS, Orlando, FL) & Rhett Dinka (2014, Venice HS, Venice, FL) each went a perfect 2-2 at the plate. Dinka scored three runs while Byrne crossed home plate twice and had 2 RBIs.
Kade Hunkapiller (2015, Venice HS, Venice, FL) pitched all five innings and gave up two runs on eight hits. Hunkapiller struck out 3 while posting a 73.8 strike percentage.
East Cobb Yankees did well recording eight hits, but couldn't quite get enough run support to keep up.

The ABA Braves Blue proved to be too much for the Central Florida Bandits Underclass as they won 8-0 in six innings.
Olive Walters (2014, McIntosh HS, Fayetteville, GA) went 2-3 with a double and 1 RBI in the win for ABA. Michael Bell (2013, Langston Hughes HS, Fairburn, GA) was an aggressive hitter with a quick bat as he tripled and finished with 2 RBIs. Will Kilgore (2014, Columbus HS, Midland, GA) also accounted for 2 RBIs. Kilgore pitched four innings as well and gave up 2 hits and no runs. He set up hitters, had good command, and showed sound mechanics while striking out 3.
Tanner Risinger (2015, Timber Creek HS, Orlando, FL) went 2-2 in the loss.

Northern Ohio Baseball Club put up three runs in the top of the 5th to draw even with Team Citius at 4-4, and that was the final score two innings later when the game ended. Michael Cantu (2014, Carroll, TX) lead the offensive output of Team Citius with two of the teams three hits, including a double and a RBI as well as a run scored. Nick Fabian (2014, St. Ignatius, OH) matched him offensively for the Northern Ohio Baseball Club, also going 2-3 and scoring a run. Team Citius plated 2 in the bottom of the first and then added another run in each of the 2nd and 3rd innings, but the relief pitching of the Northern Ohio Baseball Club was able to shut them out for the remainder of the game.
Justin Mott (2014, Amherst Steele, OH) pitched the final 2.2 innings for Northern Ohio Baseball Club, only giving up one hit while striking out three. He relied heavily on a fastball that topped out at 85 and never dipped below 82.

Evans Bozeman (2015, Pensacola Catholic HS, Pensacola, FL) homered and walked three times in the win. Jacob Dulworth (2014, North Florida Christian HS, Tallahassee, FL) also had three hits in the game and added 1 RBI. Dulworth had a projectable frame and showed a fluid stroke with good bat speed. Cole Sands (2015, North Florida Christian HS, Tallahassee, FL) batted 2-4 with a double and 3 RBIs.
Hunter Jordan (2014, Blountstown HS, Blountstown, FL) pitched three solid innings for Next Level Baseball. Jordan surrendered two hits and no runs while striking out 2. He had good hip rotation and a balanced, online delivery. His fastball was ranging between 79-82mph with a peak of 84mph.

Alfredo Iser (2014, Kilian, FL) scored twice and drove in three more to lead the SF Prospects to an 8-7 victory over Ostingers Baseball Academy on Monday. Iser hit the games only triple during a perfect 3-3 day at the plate that included the game-winning single. Teammate Ryan Dodge (2014, Flanagan, FL) also enjoyed a successful afternoon at the ballpark, going 2-2 with a walk and scoring twice. Both teams came ready to swing and put up four runs apiece in the first inning. The teams continued to exchange runs, and found themselves at a 7-7 deadlock going into the bottom of the 6th. The SF Prospects were able to load the bases before Iser singled back up the middle, driving in the winning run.
Tanner Thompson (2013, Strawberry Crest, FL) lead Ostingers Baseball Academy at the plate, hitting a home run on his way to a two hit, three RBI performance. Jonathan Lorenzo (2014, Mater Lake, FL) only needed 7 pitches in relief to record the final out in the top of the 6th, earning himself the win with only a third of an inning pitched.

Chain Black got two runs in the 4th inning and that was all they needed as they beat the DBAT Mustangs Westmoreland 2-0.
Matthew Powell (2014, Treutlen HS, Warner Robins, GA) went 2-3 at the plate for Chain Black and Jake Norton (2013, Lagrange HS, Lagrange, GA) accounted for both RBIs in the win. Norton also pitched the last 3 innings and gave up just two hits and no runs. He attacked hitters, was around the plate with all pitches, and was consistent on his fastball between 81-84mph with a peak of 85mph.
Logan Hutchinson (2014, Lowndes HS, Valdosta, GA) pitched the first four innings and gave up no runs, not hits, and struck out 5. Hutchinson had solid arm action and was throwing 83-86mph on his FB.

Francisco DeJesus (2014, McKinney Boyd HS, McKinney, TX) went 3-3 with two doubles and 3 RBIs for Frozen Ropes. DeJesus had a fluid stroke and showed raw power. Tommy Nawa (2014, McKinney Boyd HS, McKinney, TX) batted 2-3 and scored twice in the win.

The Memphis Tigers found themselves trailing by 7 runs before their first at bats but that didn't phase them at all. The Tigers responded to Team Elite White's 7 run top of the 1st inning with a 9 run bottom half. The Tigers went on to add 7 more runs in the game to win 16-8. The Tigers had RBI by 8 different players. Cody Cooper (2014, Lewisburg, MS) led the attack for the Tigers. He 2-2 with 3 RBI in the game. There was 5 different Tiger players that recorded 2 RBI for themselves. Colton Hathcock (2014, Brighton, TN) threw 2.2 innings of hitless relief for the Tigers. He struck out 4 and walked no one. His fastball peaked at 85 mph and was consistently 82-85 mph.
Team Elite White had 3 players with multiple RBI in the game. Joey Ruiz (2014, Peachtree Ridge, GA), Malachi Eskin (2014, Rockdale, GA) and David Elrod (2014, Greater Atlanta Christian, GA) all had 2 RBI for Team Elite.

Florida Prowlers Team Easton defeated Bullets Baseball 16u by a score of 5-1 Monday. Prowler pitching gave up just 3 hits in the game. Josh Morrison (2014, Riverdale, FL) threw 6.2 innings for the Prowlers. He gave up 0 earned runs on 3 hits while striking out 5 and walking 1. Morrison's fastball reached 80 mph and ranged from 74-78 mph consistently. At the plate the Prowlers were led by Michael Iantosca (2015, South Ft Myers, FL). Iantosca was 2-3 with a double, 1 run scored and 3 RBI.
The Bullets relief pitcher Jacob Scolaro (2014, Durant, FL) shut down the Prowlers in his 3 innings of work. Scolaro gave up just 2 hits and struck out 4.

643 DP Jaguars scored 11 times on their way to a 11-1 victory over SF Prospects Navy. The Jaguars pitching only allowed 1 hit in the game. James Topping (2014, Lovett, GA) threw 4 innings for the Jaguars. Topping gave up 0 hits, struck out 3 and walked 2 in his time on the mound.
Offensively the Jaguars had several players contribute. Conrad Cornell (2014, Westminster, GA) led the Jaguars attack. Cornell was 3-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI in the game. Tucker Plouffe (2014, Gilmer, GA) had 2 RBI of his own and was 2-3 in the game with a double.

The Cincinnati Heat and Excel Blue Sox battled it out, neck and neck through all 7 innings in today's game but the Sox were able to add 1 run in the bottom of the 7th to steal the victory away from the Heat. The Excel Blue Sox were able to come out victorious over the Cincinnati Heat with a final score of 5-4.
Dalton Cobb (2014, Saks, AL) was the top offensive performer for the Sox, going 2-3 with 1 triple, scoring 1 run and driving in 1 RBI. Cobb had a linedrive hitting approach with good bat speed and gap to gap power. Price Visintainer (2014, Vestavia, AL) also had a solid day, going 1-1 with 1 stolen base and 3 RBI's.
For the Heat, Jack Sullivan (2014, St Xavier, OH) and Jacob Mason (2014, Anderson, OH) combined for 4 of their 8 hits, 2 of their 4 runs and added 3 RBI's, but they came up short in the Heat's 5-4 loss.

Cody Wilson (2015, Dwyer, FL) and Pavin Smith (2014, FL) both were perfect from the plate for Palm Beach Select, combining for 4 runs, 7 hits, and 6 RBI's to help carry their team to a 12-3 victory over Team Mizuno of PR 16U and improve their record to 3-0 in the tournament. Wilson went 4-4 with 1 double, 1 triple, 3 runs and 3 RBI's in his huge performance at the plate, while Smith was equally impressive and ended the day 3-3 with 1 triple, 1 run and 3 RBI's.
Chase Bishop (2014, Jupiter, FL) also had a strong day offensively, going 3-4 and scoring 2 of Palm Beach Select's 12 runs and driving in 4 RBI's.
From the mound, LHP Hunter Whitman (2015, Dwyer, FL) dominated for Palm Beach Select, striking out 2 batters through 2 innings and allowing 1 run. He had a quick, easy arm with good follow through that helped his fastball top out at 82 mph while it averaged 78-81 mph.

RHP Jacob Woodford (2015, Plant, FL) was on fire from the mound for All American Prospects Red, striking out 12 of the 18 batters he faced through 6 frames and allowing only 2 runs on 3 hits. Of his 94 pitches, 64 came across the plate as strikes to help retire the 12 batters. Woodford showed a good working arm with solid arm action and a smooth delivery to dominate at the mound. He also showed life on his fastball which averaged between 82-87 mph and topped out at 88 mph, while his off-speed pitches averaged in the upper 70s. His presence on the mound let the Prospects' offense take over the rest of the game and grab the 7-3 victory over the Long Island Rays Gold.
Stephen Chamblee (2014, Plant, FL) and Jake Bak (2015, Plant, FL) both had solid performances at the plate for the Prospects. Chamblee went 2-2 with 3 stolen bases and scored 1 run, while Bak went 1-2 with 1 triple and scored 2 of their 7 runs to assist in the victory.
Ben Russ (2014, Jesuit, FL) and Carter Leslie (2015, Plant, FL) both went 1-1 at the plate, each scoring 2 runs for the Prospects. Russ also tallied 2 stolen bases while Leslie added 1 RBI and 1 triple.
For the Rays, Alex Sanchez (2014, NY) had a strong offensive performance, finishing 2-2 with 1 double and scoring 2 of their 3 runs, but he had no help from his teammates as they fell short against the Prospects.

The New York Grays 16U team scored 5 runs in the top of the 3rd to take the 7-5 lead over the East Cobb Braves, but their lead wouldn't last long as the Braves rallied and added 13 runs in the bottom of the 4th to take the 18-7 lead and end the game in only 5 innings, grabbing their 3rd win of the tournament.
Bryan Armstead (2014, Shiloh, GA) had a solid day at the plate, going 2-3 with 1 RBI and scoring 2 runs thanks to his live bat to assist in the huge victory. Steven Tomlinson (2014, Peachtree Ridge, GA) batted 100 percent, going 3-3 with 1 double and scoring 3 of the Braves' 18 runs thanks to his patience at the plate and his good bat speed through the zone. Michael Chavis (2014, Sprayberry, GA) was equally impressive, going 2-2 with 2 doubles, 3 RBI's and adding 3 more runs for the Braves. Brad Schwartz (2013, Walton, GA) had a huge day to help chip in to his team's win, going 2-3 with 1 double, 1 triple, scoring 2 runs and driving in an impressive 6 RBI's. Schwartz had good bat speed and was an aggressive hitter with power potential, which helped him bring in 6 RBI's for the Braves.
For the New York Grays, Jack Minton (2014, Feildston School, NY) and Cristian Guerrero (2013, Long Island City, NY) both went 2-3 on the day and each added 1 run. Minton also drove in 2 RBI's and Guerrero drove in 1 RBI, but their contributions weren't enough to give the Grays the victory.

The So Cal NTT 16u bats came up big late by scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to double up SF Elite Squad Red, 6-3.
The So Cal bats were led by 3-hole hitter C Clay Pittman (2014, Tinora HS, OH) who racked up the game's only 3 hit effort while bringing home 2 RBIs as well.
The dynamic duo of starting LHP Brandon Rodrigues (2013, Coral Springs Christian Academy, FL) and RHP Brian Rapp (2014, Delbarton HS, NJ) got the job done on the bump for So Cal. Rodrigues surrendered 8 hits but more importantly 0 ER in 5 innings of work. He would primarily use his 69-70 FB peaking at 71, 62-64 CB, and 64 CH. Rapp allowed just 1 hit and 0 ER in 2 innings to close. He used a silky smooth delivery and utilized his 82-85 FB topping at 86, 72 CB, 74-77 SL, and a rarely used 80 CT.
Leading the charge at the dish for the Elite was 5-hole hitter 3B Matt Fierman (2014, Coral Springs Christian Academy, FL) who collected 2 hits, including a double, and drove in 1 of his team's 2 RBIs. Fierman would also pull double duty and gave a nice effort in the closing role. He would cede 2 hits and 1 ER in 1.2 innings while putting down 3 of his 5 outs via strikeout. Fierman relied on his 80-84 FB hitting 84, a 71 CB, and 72-75 SL.

Hit N Run Baseball were able to improve their record to 3-0 in the tournament with a 9-3 victory over the Tampa Suns 16U. Keegan Maronpot (2014, East Lake, FL) helped chip in to the victory by hitting a 2-run HR to left field in the bottom of the 5th inning to give his team the 8-3 lead and eventually the win. Maronpot finished the day 2-2, scoring 2 of their 9 runs and driving in 2 RBI's while also adding 1 stolen base.
Mijon Cummings (2014, G. Steinbrenner, FL) and Douglas Borgh (2014, Seminole, FL) combined for 4 hits, 1 run and 4 RBI's for Hit N Run Baseball to assist in their victory.
From the mound, William Ross (2013, Tarpon Springs, FL) dominated for Hit N Run Baseball, striking out 4 batters through 6 innings and allowing only 3 runs. Of his 78 pitches, 51 came across the plate as strikes. Ross showed good command of all his pitches around the plate with a well working arm and long arm action. He showed a fastball that averaged 80-84 mph and topped out at 86 mph.
For the Tampa Suns, Drew Vimond (2015, St. Pete, FL) and Tyler Simmons (2014, Clearwater Central, FL) combined for 4 hits, 1 run and 1 RBI but it wasn't enough get the W. One of Simmons' 2 hits was for a double.

The Dodgers bats were paced by C Hagen Owenby (2014, Knoxville HS, TN) who racked up 1 hit in the form of a triple while bringing home 2 RBIs.
Getting it done on the bump for the Dodgers was middle reliever LeeMarcus Boyd (2014, Independence HS, TN) who tossed a solid 2.1 innings in relief while surrendering 0 hits and 0 ER. He'd work the SCORE bats primarily with his 79-83 FB topping at 84 and his seldom used 68 CB.
At the dish for SCORE was Michael Mcguire who nabbed the team's only hit on the day.

For the Dallas Mets, Chase Coronado (2014, Poteet, TX) took over with his bat at the plate and with his arm from the mound to help the Mets hold off the Jacksonville Royals Blue with a final score of 7-4, giving the Mets their 3rd win of the tournament. Coronado went 2-2 offensively, scoring 2 of their 7 runs with 1 double. From the mound, Coronado retired 2 batters through 3 innings and allowed only 1 run. He was able to throw around the plate with all of his pitches thanks to his long arm action and smooth, online delivery. His fastball averaged 72-79 mph and topped out at 81 mpg while his off-speed pitches hung around the lower 70s.
Palance Harris (2014, Frisco, TX), Cade Cruce (2014, Gunter, TX) and Jonathan Soberanes (2014, Sachse, TX) combined for 4 of the Mets' 8 hits, 4 of their 7 runs and 4 RBI's. Harris also added 1 double, Cruce added 1 triple and Soberanes stole 2 bases to carry their team to victory.
For the Jacksonville Royals Blue, Matt Henderson (2015, Episcopal School, FL) did all that he could to help his team, going 2-3 with 1 stolen base and scoring 1 of their 4 runs.

Team Gwinnett tallied 4 runs in the 6th and 7th innings to claim the victory, 4-2, over Palm Beach County PAL.
Gwinnett was led at the dish by 2-hole hitter OF Jake Higginbotham (2015, Buford HS, GA) who accumulated 2 hits (including a double), a run scored, and 2 RBIs. He'd demonstrate a fluid stroke and nice linedrive swing plane in getting the job done.
Starting LHP Ryan Bramlett (2013, Buford HS, GA) did a solid job on the bump for the Team Gwinnett giving up just 4 hits and 1 ER in 4.1 innings of duty. He worked around the plate with all his pitches that included a 74-79 armside run FB hitting 82, a 66-69 CB, and 70 SL. Closer 1B Liam Cotter (2014, The Marist School, GA) utilized a 79-83 heavy FB touching 84, a 74 CB, a 78 SL, and a 73 straight CH that flashed some potential.
For the Palm Beach bats it was 2B Jameel Edney (2014, Palm Beach Central HS, FL) displayed a fluid stroke and sound hitting approach in leading the charge with one of his team's 3 2-hit games that included a double while raking in 1 RBI.
On the bump for Palm Beach were hard throwin hurlers RHP Sean Gabel (2014, West Boca HS, FL) and RHP Bruce Bechtel (2014, Park Vista HS, FL). Gabel would give up 3 hits but 0 ER in 3 innings while Bechtel allowed 1 hit and 1 ER in 1 inning to close. Gabel utilized his 81-84 FB topping at 85, a 66-70 CB and 70-74 SL. Bechtel closed up shop with a 84-87 explosive FB peaking at 87, a 71-74 10/4 CB, and 75 SL.

He was able to pitch around the plate with all of his pitches and showed a good working arm with life on his fastball which averaged between 79-83 mph and topped out at 84 mph. He also showed a slider that hung around the mid to lower 70s.
Connor Brady (2014, Plano Senior, TX) and Owen Grant (2014, Colleyville Heritage, TX) combined for 4 of the Mustangs' 9 hits and 3 of their 10 runs. Brady finished 2-3 with 1 run while Grant went 2-2 with 2 runs and 2 stolen bases.
Trey Nelson (2014, TX) was equally impressive, finishing 1-1 on the day and scoring 3 of the Mustangs' 10 runs to help carry them to the 10-2 victory over the ABA Braves Red.

The Indiana Prospects used a 10 hit effort at the dish and a plethora of hurlers to scrape by the Gatorball Baseball Academy, 5-4.
The Prospect bats were led by 9-hole hitter SS Jay Prior (2014, Center Grove HS, IN) who racked up 2 hits, including a triple, and drove in 1 RBI. Prior would also do a solid job as Indiana's closer giving up 0 hits and 0 ER in 1 inning of work. Prior would utilize his silky smooth delivery and an 82-84 FB hitting 84 and a 66-68 CB.
On the mound for the Prospects were hard throwing starter RHP Grant Malott (2014, New Castle HS, IN) and RHP Griffin Hulecki (2014, Fishers HS, IN). Malott surrendered just 1 hit and 0 ER in 3 innings of duty while using 79-82 FB peaking at 84 and his 72 CB. Hulecki flashed some similar velos by working the gun with a 78-82 FB hitting 83 and a 66-69 SL while giving up just 2 hits and 0 ER in 2 innings on the rubber.

The South Texas Diamondbacks triple up Team Elite Grey, 9-3, after big 5-run 6th inning and EJ Garcia's (2013, J.B. Alexander HS, TX) home run to push their win total to 3 in the tourney.
The Diamondbacks achieved 9 runs on just 4 hits on the day and were led by Garcia's gopher ball that allowed him to score a run and also rake in 2 RBIs. Garcia also pitched effectively as the middle reliever giving up just 3 hits and 1 ER in 2 innings of work. He utilized his scorching 86-90 lively FB heating at 91 and his 73-77 early break CB to put down 3 of his 6 outs via the strikeout.
Leading the attack at the dish for the Elite was 3B Brandon Frazier (2014, Oconee County HS, GA) who put up his team's only multi-hit game by accumulating 2 hits.

Tennessee Dores Black were trailing 3-1 coming into the top of the 4th inning, but they were finally able to get their bats going and drive in some runs. By the time it was all said and done, they had scored 5 runs and grabbed the 6-3 lead and would eventually come out on top with the 7-4 victory, giving Tennessee Dores Black their 3rd win of the tournament.
Jackson Paisley (2014, Cooksville, TN) had a good day at the plate for Tennessee Dores Black, going 2-3 and scoring 1 run and driving in 1 RBI to assist in their victory. Carson Shrode (2014, Christ Presbyterian, TN) was the top performer today for Dores Black, ending the day 2-3 with 1 triple and scoring 2 of their 7 runs while also driving in 2 RBI's. Shrode was aggressive at the plate, showing good bat speed with some pop.
For Florida Burn Orange, Dalton Guthrie (2014, Venice, FL) did all that he could to try to carry his team to victory, going 2-3 with 1 double, 1 stolen base and scoring 2 of their 4 runs. Guthrie showed patience at the plate and was quick out of the box to help him round the bases and score runs for the Burn.

The SF Elite Squad White used a 4-run 4th to dominate the Jersey Seminoles, 7-1, in rout.
The Elite bats' were led by 2 and 3-hole hitters SS Zack Kone (2015, Pine Crest HS, FL) and 3B Joseph Acosta (2014, Belen Jesuit HS, FL) who each tallied 2 hits apiece. Kone would add a run scored while bringing home 3 RBIs. Acosta one upped Kone by scoring working the bags for 2 runs scored.
In a team effort on the mound it was starter TJ Williams who started off well allowing just 1 hit and 1 ER in 2 innings of duty. He'd get the job done with his 78-81 FB hitting 81 and 68 CB. Following was middle reliever RHP Raymond Apruzzese (2014, St. Thomas HS, FL) who also pitched 2 innings but gave up just 1 hit while surrendering 0 ER. He pitched effectively with his 78-82 FB hitting 82.
Earning both of his team's hit at the dish for the Seminoles was 3-hole hitter 2B Anthony DePack (2014, Mt. Olive HS, NJ) who manufactured a double as one of his two hits while raking in the team's lone RBI.

Team IMPACT rallied for 3 runs in the top of 6th to earn the narrow victory over Pure Hitting, 7-6.
Making a difference at the dish for the IMPACT was OF Casey Santos-Ocampo who supplied his team's only multi-hit game going 2 for 3 from the plate while working the bags to score 2 runs and 1 theft (SB) while driving in 1 RBI. The other major contributor was 9-hole hitter OF Justin Fischer (2016, Out of Door Academy, FL) who earned himself a double, a run scored, and 3 of his 6 team RBIs.
IMPACT starter RHP Grant Ashline (2014, Naples HS, FL) surrendered 3 hits and 2 ER in a brief 2.2 innings of work. He'd get the job done with his 74-77 FB hitting 79.
For Pure Hitting it was SS Matthew Rhodes (2014, Whitewater HS, GA) who was the breadwinner as he compiled 1 hit in the form of a double while driving in 2 of his team's 6 runs from the dish.

The Worcester Heat 16u were led by an outstanding performance by starting LHP Paul Browne (2014, St. Johns HS, MA) from the bump and at the dish to claim the 10-1 rout over the Marucci Elite Red.
The Heat won't question what Browne can do for them after this afternoon where he turned in a 3 for 3 gem at the dish while working the bags to score 2 runs as well. He'd also go above and beyond by belting one of his team's 3 XBHs in the form of a double. Rivaling his performance at the plate was his showing on the rubber where he surrendered just 1 hit and 0 ER in 4 innings of duty. He was a crafty lefty who worked the Marucci lineup with a nice mixture of his 77-79 FB peaking at 79 and a 64-68 CB. He had no problem finding the zone with an incredible 89% of his pitches crossing for strikes.
Also contributing to the Heat in the box was Cameron Fiorentino (2013, Blackstone Valley HS, MA) after racking up 1 hit in the form of a triple, touching home for a run scored, and driving in 2 RBIs.
Swinging the bat for Marucci was SS Cade Mullins (2014, Homewood HS, AL) who nabbed one of his team's 2 hits, a double, worked the bags for a run scored.

2014 Tyler Gullett (Lagrange, OH, St. Edward HS) went 1-2 with an RBI and a triple for Northern, and 2014 Nick Fabian (Strongsville, OH, St. Ignatius HS) went 1-2 with an RBI and a triple. Gullett showed aggressive hitting, power potential, and live bat. Fabian showed a sound hitting approach, patience and live bat. 2014 Justin Mott (Amherst, OH, Amherst Steele HS) batted a perfect 4-4 with 3 RBI's and 2014 Shane Skuhrovec (Hinckley, OH, St. Ignatius HS) went 2-4 with 3 RBI's. 2014 Kyle Holdsworth (Hinckley, OH, Walsh Jesuit HS) went 1-2 with 2 RBI's.
2013 Angel Rodriguez (Juncos, PR, Ramon Quinonez HS) went 1-2 with an RBI and a double for Mizuno. Rodriguez showed aggressive hitting, a quiet hitting approach, live bat and gap power. 2013 Jonathan Bermudez (Juncos, PR, Jose Felipe Zaya HS) pitched 2 1/3 inning, recording 5 strikeouts and peaking his fastball at 81mph. Dallas Mets scored 6 runs in the 1st inning and were leading the whole game. Team Elite White scored 6 runs in the 6th inning to try and come from behind and win, but it wasn't quite enough as the Mets won 9-8.

Cruce showed a good eye, patience, and raw power. Harris is athletic with broad shoulders and a projectable frame. He showed raw power and live bat.

Lawson showed gap power and is a spray hitter that goes with pitch. Donini showed a confident approach and gap power. 2015 Austin Taylor (Haines City, FL, Haines City HS) went 2-3 with an RBI and 2014 David Cerrato (Valrico, FL, Newsome HS) went 3-3 with an RBI. Cerrato stayed inside the ball well and showed gap power.
2014 John Mason (Lithia, FL, Newsome HS) pitched 5 innings for the Ostingers, allowing 4 hits and no runs with 6 strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 87mph. Mason has a large, projectable frame and was around the plate with all pitches. He showed solid arm action, hides the ball well. and showed good command.

Team Gwinnett jumped out to a big early lead and shut-out Next Level Baseball 10-0 in five innings.
Bryn Parten (2014, Grayson HS, Loganville, GA) batted a perfect 3-3 with 1 RBI and also scored twice for Team Gwinnett. Parten had a fluid stroke with good bat speed. Zach English (2014, West Hall HS, Oakwood, GA) doubled once and finished with 3 RBIs. English had good plate coverage and a short, compact swing.
Tucker Baca (2014, North Gwinnett HS, Suwanee, GA) pitched 3 innings for Team Gwinnett and recorded the win. Baca gave up two hits while striking out four. The LHP attacked hitters and was around the plate with all pitches. His fastball was ranging between 80-84mph.

Palm Beach Select tallied 22 hits on the day to defeat Team Citius in 10-3 rout in their 2nd victory of the tourney.
It was Virginia commit and 1B/OF Pavin Smith (2014, Palm Beach Gardens HS, FL) who led the charge for Palm Beach in racking up 2 hits and 1 of his team's 4 RBIs. Smith would utilize his large, projectable frame to belt a double and pull double duty as the starting pitcher as well. Smith had a brief 2-inning stint on the mound but pitched effectively surrendering nary a hit or an ER while exhibiting good command and projectable stuff. He'd pitch inside well and was a presence on the mound with his 82-85 explosive FB heating at 86, his 69-72 CB, 71-74 SL and 77 CH.
The Select would also benefit from the bat of 7-hole hitter OF Stephen Nobels (2013, Seminole HS, FL) who earned 1 hit, touched home for a run scored, and raked in an RBI. Nobels also took advantage of his short, compact swing and displayed some gap power in accumulating his team's only triple as well.
Citius got a nice appearance from SS Liam Sabino (2014, Blair Academy, PA) who racked up his team's only multi-hit game with 2 hits while driving in 1 RBI.
On the bump for Team Citius was LHP Mike Sgaramella (2014, Seton Prep, NJ) who struggled at times but flashed some potential with a 79-82 FB touching 83.

Tennessee Dores Black got ahead of the SF Prospects Navy 5-0 early on and were able to keep that lead as they eventually won the game 7-4.

The DBAT Mustangs Westmoreland overpowered the Jersey Seminoles from the start and coasted to a 13-0 win.
Jake Clark (2014, Paris HS, Pattonville, TX) had a big game at the plate for the Mustangs. Clark had good bat speed and showed plenty of power potential as he homered both times he was up to bat. He finished with 5 RBIs.

The East Cobb Yankees and So Cal NTT 16u played to a 2-2 tie. Runs were hard to come by for both teams as the teams combined for a total of 8 hits. The Yankees Scott Franklin (2014, Roswell, GA) had 2 hits in the game and 1 of those hits went for a double. On the mound the Yankees used 2 pitchers. The 2 pitchers combined to give up 0 earned runs and struck out a total of 6 batters. Conley Oster (2014, Roswell, GA) did not allow a hit in his 2 innings of relief for the Yankees. Oster's fastball was consistently 77-81 mph.

The 643 DP Cougars scored 3 runs in the 6th to rally for the 6-4 triumph over the All American Prospects Red and their heat seeking duo.
The Cougars were led by leadoff hitter OF Jake Johnson (2014, Westminster HS, GA) who displayed a rotational swing and some linedrive contact in earning himself 2 hits, including a triple, while touching home for a run scored as well.
Cougar closer Thomson came roaring out of the pen and allowed just 1 hit and 0 ER in his 2 innings of work. He got the job done with a 77-81 FB topping at 84 and his 64-67 CB.
In the box for the Prospects was 1B Jake Bak (2015, Plant HS, FL) who compiled 3 hits, including a double, while raking in 2 RBIs. Bak would exhibit a quick bat and power to all fields in the effort.

The Dulin Dodgers were able to pull away from the ABA Braves Blue for an 8-3 win. The game was tied at 3 when the Dodgers went to bat in the bottom of the 6th inning. The Dodgers scored 5 times in the 6th inning to take the lead and get the W. The Dodgers were led by Rob Perteet (2014, Hillcrest, AL) and Hagen Owenby (2014, Knoxville, TN) at the plate. Perteet was 2-4 in the game with a double, a triple, 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Owenby was 2-3 with a double, 1 run scored and 2 RBI.
The Dodgers Montel Johnson (2014, Lexington, TN) threw 1.2 innings of relief. Johnson did not allow a hit in his work from the mound. Johnson hit 88 mph on the radar gun. The Braves starting pitcher Ryan Avidano (2014, Starrs Mill, GA) threw 3 innings and hit 84 mph on the radar gun.

SWFL Baseball 16u scored the last 4 runs of the game but couldn't overcome a MIF Michael Chavis (2014, Sprayberry HS, GA) homer as the East Cobb Braves hold on for the 11-8 victory.
Chavis did work and took numbers out of the 3-spot by going big with his only hit of the day while scoring 3 runs and raking in 3 RBIs. His fellow slugger C Weston McArthur (2014, Calhoun HS, GA) cleaned up nicely in the 4-spot by collecting a team-high 3 hits, while scoring a run and bringing home 6 of his team's 11 RBIs. McArthur would demonstrate excellent bat speed and some power potential with 2 XBHs in the form of doubles.
It was also a productive morning in the box for SWFL as the tenacious trio of OF Donovan Petrey (2015, DeSoto HS, FL), 1B Luis Ferrer (2014, Mariner HS, FL), and C Matthew Richey (2014, Cape Coral HS, FL) racked up at least 2 hits and 1 run a piece. Petrey would show 'em how it's done with a team leading 3 hits, including a triple, while working the bags with 2 runs scored and bringing home 1 RBI. Ferrer and Richey both added 2 RBIs to their line with Ferrer picking up 2 doubles and Richey accumulating 1 double as well.

Team Elite Black and the Indiana Prospects ended in a 6-6 to tie. Both teams scored in 3 different innings in the game on way to the draw. Team Elite Black got 2 hits by both Imani Willis (2014, Campbell, GA) and Jonathan Fisher (2014, Harrison, GA) in the game. Willis also scored twice and had 1 RBI. Fisher scored 1 time and also had 1 RBI. The Prospects got 2 hits from Tre Gantt (2014, Hamilton Southern, IN). Gantt was 2-2 with 3 runs scored.
Team Elite Black's relief pitcher, Ryan Young (2014, Blessed Trinity, GA), threw 2 innings of hitless baseball. Young struck out 3 and walked 2 while hitting 86 mph on the radar gun. The Prospects Harry Shipley (2014, Cathedral, IN) threw 2 innings of hitless relief of his own. Shipley struck out 2 and hit 83 mph on the radar gun.

Hit N Run Baseball did just that with a 5-run 5th inning to pull away from the IBAHS Knights and grab the victory 6-4.
Hit N Run were paced by 1B David Paul (2014, ClearwaterCentral Catholic HS, FL) who displayed great instincts and athleticism while making his lone hit count to the tune of 2 RBIs driven in.
Hit N Run's starting RHP Jason Heinrich (2015, River Ridge HS, FL) made it known they could get it done from the bump with a strong 5 inning outing. Heinrich gave up 2 ER and 3 hits but fanned 7 with a nice balanced delivery. He'd slow the Knights with a 79-82 FB heating at 87, 70-74 CB, and 68-71 CH. He'd also demonstrate the ability to throw strikes with 75% of his pitches crossing for strikes.
The Knights attack was led by Alexis Morales (2013, Ceiba HS, PR) who accumulated 1 hit out of the 7-hole while touching home for 2 runs scored and driving in 1 RBI.

Team Elite Grey was able to defeat the Florida Hardballers by a score of 4-1. Runs were hard to come by in the game as both teams received some solid pitching. Team Elite Grey was led on the mound by Jordan Baker (2014, Marist School, GA). Baker pitched 5.1 innings allowing just 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 8 and walking 2. Baker's fastball peaked at 86 mph and ranged from 81-84 mph consistently.
Jon Ward (2014, Chiefland, FL) started for the Hardballers and threw 4 innings. Ward gave up 1 earned run on 6 hits while striking out 2 and walking none. Loren Hendrickson (2014, Eastside, FL) pitched 2 innings of relief and surrendered 1 earned run on 1 hit for the Hardballers.

Jacksonville Royals Blue earned themselves the victory and doubled up the Memphis Tigers, 8-4, after a 5-run 6th inning rally gave them the go-ahead run.
The Royals were paced by 10-hole hitter C Justin Gesek (2015, Bolles HS, FL) who tallied 2 hits on the day while touching home to score a run and raking in 2 RBI. Closing up shop and earning the W was closer RHP Luke Spaulding (2013, Trinity Christian HS, FL) who surrendered just 1 ER and 4 hits in 4 innings of duty. Spaulding changed speeds effectively and kept hitters off balance with his 75-80 lively FB peaking at 80, 64-67 late breaking CB, and 69-72 sinking CH arsenal. He displayed projectable stuff while fanning 5 Tigers as well.

Chain Black received some huge offensive production in their 12-4 victory over SF Elite Squad White. Chain Black did most their scoring in the 5th inning when they scored 7 times. Chain Black had 8 consecutive hitters reach base before an out was recorded in the 5th inning.
Lincoln Hewett (2015, North Hall, GA) and Jake Norton (2013, LaGrange, GA) had huge games offensively for Chain Black. Hewett had 3 hits in the game, 2 of them being doubles and scored 2 times while knocking in 4 runs. Norton also had 3 hits, 1 being a double while knocking in 3 runs and scoring once. Trevor Wood (2014, Dublin, GA) had a triple and had 2 RBI of his own while Jesus Massaratti (2013, NS Warner Robin, GA) went 2-3 with 2 runs scored. Robert Tyler (2013, Crisp County, GA) pitched 3 innings for Chain Black. Tyler gave up 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 5 and walking none. His fastball hit 94 mph on the radar gun and consistently ranged 90-93 mph.

Pure Hitting defeated Chet Lemon's Juice 16u by a score of 7-3 on Monday morning. Pure Hitting found themselves down by 2 runs until they were able to tie the game up at 3 a piece in the 4th inning. Pure Hitting went on to take the lead for good when they plated 4 runs in the 5th inning to take the 7-3 advantage.
Pure Hitting had several players contribute offensively. Michael Murphy (2013, Mcintosh, GA) was 2-3 in the game with a double, triple, run scored and 1 RBI. David Scott (2013, Westwood Academy, GA) added 2 hits of his own in the game and also scored 2 runs. Pure Hitting's Ryan Sapp (2013, Union Grove, GA) and David Howard (2014, East Coweta, GA) each had 2 RBI in the game as well. Anthony Dodd (2014, Sandy Creek, GA) threw 4.1 innings of relief and surrendered 1 earned run on 3 hits foe Pure Hitting.

The DBAT Mustangs Brady posted a 6 run 3rd-inning to run away from the Florida Prowlers Team Easton 10-2 to claim their first win of the tourney.
The Mustangs were appropriately led by SS Connor Brady (2014, Plano Senior HS, TX) who got the job done out of the leadoff spot with his team's only 3-hit game, that included a double, while working the bags to score a run. Fellow hitters OF Chris Dyer (2014, Lake Highlands HS, TX) and 1B Dean Smith (2014, Prosper HS, TX) represented the heart of the order and followed up Brady's performance by collecting 2 hits a pop. Dyer would also contribute 2 runs scored and drove home 2 RBIs. Smith would touch home for a run scored while also driving in 2 RBIs to go along with his XBH in the form of a double.
On the bump for the Mustangs was starting RHP Kyle Johnson (2014, Flower Mound HS, TX) who surrendered just 2 hits while allowing 0 ER in 4 innings of work. He'd also fan 7 Prowlers and pitched effectively inside with his 79-82 armside run FB peaking at 83 and his 71-75 SL.
Getting it done in the box for the Prowlers was 2-hole hitter Christian Hammond (2014, Cypress Lake HS, FL) who accumulated 1 of his team's 3 hits while touching home to score a run.
Despite the loss starting RHP Andy Williams still sported a reasonable line of 2 hits given up and 0 ER ceded in a brief 1.1 innings of work. He'd put down 3 of his 4 outs via strikeout by hurling his 81-83 heavy FB touching 85 and a 68-71 SL that flashed potential.

Boca Thunder Baseball scored two runs in the first inning to get things going. Boca Thunder and Marucci Elite Red then traded the lead several times over the course of the game, ending it tied at 5-5. Cale Brader (2014, Boca Raton, HS, Boca Raton, FL) hit an RBI single to get the game's first score for Boca.
Marucci answered with two runs of their own in the second inning. Taylor Faulk (2014, Sulphur HS, Sulphur, FL) and Sully Martin (2014, Lucher HS, Paulina, LA) each contributed an RBI single in the second. Faulk was 1-2 in the game and Martin went 2-3. Brayden Miles (2014, East Central HS, Moss Point, MS) helped Marucci take the lead in the fourth inning with an RBI single.
Boca regained in the fifth when Alex Bialakis (2015, Pope John Paul II HS, Boca Raton, FL) hit a one-run double and later scored on wild pitch. Bialakis was 2-3 at bat for Boca. He also pitched two innings for Boca, striking out three batters. His fastball averaged 81-85 mph.
Boca brought the score up to 5-3 in the top of the seventh and Marucci scored the two tying runs off of an error in the bottom of the seventh.

Palm Beach County PAL capitalized on their opportunities in a 6-1 win over Tennessee Dores Gold. Palm Beach and Tennessee combined for just 7 hits in the game. Palm Beach made their hits matter as they were able to put up 6 runs in the game. Matthew Mika (2015, Park Vista, FL) had 2 runs scored and 2 RBI in the game for Palm Beach. Richard Lipinski (2014, Park Vista, FL) added an RBI and run scored of his own for Palm Beach as well. Palm Beach got a complete game on the mound out of Bradley Busch (2014, West Boca, FL). Busch gave up just 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 10 and walking 3. The crafty lefty kept hitters off balance with his fastball, curveball and change up mix.
Tennessee's relief pitcher Jackson Smith (2014, Centennial, TN) fired 4 innings of hitless relief. Smith struck out 2 and walked 3 in his 4 innings of work from the hill. Scott Ellis (2014, Goodpasture, TN) led Tennessee's offense by going 2-3 at the plate.

The Florida Burn Orange raced out to an early 5 run lead and never looked back to claim the victory over the 643 DP Jaguars, 8-1, in rout.
The Orange were led by SS Chad Miller (2013, Sarasota Christian HS, FL) who earned himself a team-high 2 hits on the morning while scoring a run and driving home 2 RBIs. Also doin work in the box was Jackson Baker OF (2014, Sanford Seminole HS, FL) who demonstrated some power potential and a live bat to burn the Jaguars for the game's only triple while also touching home to score a run.
On the bump for Florida was starting RHP Tyler Shambora (2013, Venice HS, FL) who had himself a day in pitching a 3-hit 5-inning shutout. He'd demonstrate good command and kept hitters off balance by changing speeds effectively with a varying arsenal that included his 80-82 lively FB topping at 82, a 63-66 late breaking CB, his 73-76 late breaking SL, and a 70-72 CH. He'd use his sweet repertoire of pitches to whiff 9 Jaguars.
At the dish for the Jaguars was SS Conrad Cornell (2014, Westminster HS, GA) who earned his team's only XBH in the form of a double out of the 2-spot.

The SF Prospects have defeated the Excel Blue Sox 7-3 thanks to a late 7th inning rally that plated the go ahead runs. Leading the way offensively for SF was OF Danny Vitello (2014, Chaminade Mado HS, Pembroke Pines, FL) who finished 2 for 4 with a double, 2 RBIs, and a run scored. OF Jake Jacobs (Pembroke Pines Christian, Pembroke Pines, FL) went 2 for 4 with a run scored.
C Ryan Gabriel (2013, Western HS, Davie, FL) chipped in a nice game going 1 for 2 with a double, an RBI, a walk, and 2 runs scored. He showed good bat speed and good extension on his swing with some raw power. C Ryan Dodge (2014, Flanagan HS, Pembroke Pines, FL) rounded out the attack going 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI. He displayed a confident approach with some raw power potential to all fields.
On the mound, relievers Nick Martinez (2014, Nova HS, Davie, FL) and Jonathan Lorenzo (2014, Mater Lakes HS, Miami Lakes, FL) were solid in their 6 combined innings of relief. Martinez threw 3 innings allowing no runs on 4 hits with a walk and a strikeout with a 78 MPH fastball. Lorenzo then came on for the final 3 innings allowing no runs on 1 hit with no walks and 6 strikeouts. He showed good command of his pitches and featured a fastball/curveball/changeup combination that reached 83 MPH on the radar gun.
OF/RHP Austin Haight (2014, Spain Park HS, Birmingham, AL) led the way offensively for the Blue Sox going 2 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs. He did a nice job of staying inside the ball and displayed a short, compact swing with good bat speed. C Hayden White (2014, Prattville HS, Prattville, AL) finished 2 for 3 with a run scored.

Palm Beach County PAL has defeated Next Level Baseball 11-2 behind an 11-hit attack led by 3B Connor Power (2016, American Heritage, Wellington, FL) who finished 3 for 3 with a double, 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored. He showed a quick bat and an aggressive approach at the plate.
Matt Mika (information unavailable) also finished 3 for 3 with a run scored, displaying a quick bat with a short, compact swing. C/UT Logan Heiser (2014, Jupiter HS, Jupiter, FL) chipped in a nice game going 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. RHP Michael Smicklas (2014, Boca Raton HS, Boca Raton, FL) rounded out the attack going 2 for 2 with an RBI.
On the mound, starting pitcher Mike Spooner (2015, Boca Raton HS, Boca Raton, FL) was solid in his 4 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. He featured a good fastball/curveball combination and hit 79 MPH on the radar gun. The Florida Burn Silver scored six runs in the first three innings and that proved to be enough as they held off So Cal NTT 16U 7-4 Sunday afternoon.
JJ Woodard (2015, Oviedo HS, Oviedo, FL) & Michael Byrne (2015, Olympia HS, Orlando, FL) each went 2-3 with 2 RBIs and one run scored in the win for Florida Burn Silver. Woodard singled twice while Byrne singled once and doubled once. Rhett Dinka (2014, Venice HS, Venice, FL) went 1-1 with one walk, two runs scored, and a triple.

Team IMPACT scored 7 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning and beat the Chet Lemon's Juice 16U 11-5 after five innings of play.
Casey Santos-Ocampo (2015, Community School of Naples, Naples, FL) batted a perfect 2-2 with 2 RBIs and two runs scored for Team IMPACT. Brett Scafidi (2014, Seacrest Country Day HS, Naples, FL) hit a 3-RBI double in the win. Scafidi had a quick bat with life in his swing and showed some gap power.
Jesus Palacios (2014, Lely HS, Naples, FL) pitched three good innings for Team IMPACT and he was given the win. Palacios allowed one run on two hits and struck out two. The lefty had good extension out front and was aggressive with his FB as he had it touching 82mph.
Blake Waldren (2014, Forest HS, Mount Dora, FL) pitched two innings and touched 83mph on his FB in the loss for Chet Lemon's Juice 16U. Waldren kept hitters off balance and had a balanced delivery.

Jacksonville Royals Blue and Team Elite White were all knotted up at 2-2 until the fourth inning when Matt Henderson (2015, Episcopal School, Jacksonville, FL) hit a 3-run HR. The Royals added two more runs and wound up winning 7-2. Henderson was an aggressive hitter with power potential. He finished 2-3 at the plate.
Zack Smith (2014, Episcopal School, Jacksonville, FL) went a perfect 2-2 with a double and 1 RBI for the Royals. Ryen Carvalho (2014, Mandarin HS, Jacksonville, FL) also doubled and he finished 1-1 at the plate.
Sean Reid-Foley (2014, Paxson School of Advanced Studies, Jacksonville, FL) pitched three innings for Jacksonville and gave up just two hits and no runs. The RHP struck out 6 and posted a 78.4% strike percentage. Sean was around the plate with all pitches, changed speeds, and had life on his FB as it touched 88mph. Mitchell Horowitz (2014, Bolles HS, Jacksonville, FL) relieved Reid-Foley and pitched three innings. He struck out 2 and recorded 75% of his pitches as strikes. Horowitz maintained speed on his fastball between 80-82mph with a peak of 84mph.
Michael Livingston (2014, Woodward Academy, Suwanee, GA) went 2-3 with a triple and one run scored in the loss for Team Elite White.

Out of the leadoff spot it was Jonathan Soberanes (2014, Sachse, TX) coming up big for the Dallas Mets. Soberanes was 2-3 showing patience at the plate drawing two walks. He had a live bat and hit from gap to gap with pop with evidence being his double in the game and three RBI. In the infield Soberanes had easy fluid defensive actions showing he can throw from all angles with a quick release.
Justin Robison's (2014, Dallas Christian, TX) fluid strokes and raw power helped him in the game today. Robison was 4-4 driving in four runs. His linedrive swing plane led him to hitting a double and triple in the game. Robison showed off his skills at the plate today and came up with multiple clutch hits helping his team get the 10-1 win over the Memphis Tigers.

Down 5-0, Northern Ohio Baseball Club were able to get three runs back, but couldn't get any closer as Palm Beach Select closed the game out and won 5-3.
Tyler Parker (2013, Jensen Beach HS, Jensen Beach, FL) had a good game at the plate for Palm Beach Select. Parker had a live bat and finished 2-3 with a triple. Chase Bishop (2014, Jupiter HS, Tequesta, FL), Zac Hall (2014, Jupiter HS, Jupiter, FL), & Christian Crews (2014, Okeechobee HS, Okeechobee, FL) all went 1-2 with 1 RBI in the win.
Steven (Zeke) Pietrzyk (2014, Estero HS, Estero, FL) pitched the first 3 innings for Palm Beach Select. Pietrzyk gave up one hit and no runs while striking out 5. The lefty stayed tall on his backside and had effortless arm action. His fastball maintained speed between 80-81mph with a peak of 82mph. His reliever, Stephen Nobles (2013, Seminole HS, Seminole, FL) threw the final four innings and struck out 3. Nobels had a quick arm and an explosive FB. His fastball was consistently between 82-85mph.

Jack Sullivan (2014, St. Xavier, OH) scored the winning and only run for the Cincinnati Heat in the top of the fourth inning. Both teams combined for only seven hits and Sullivan was able to get on base thanks to his patient approach as he drew a walk. He scored on error so there were no earned runs allowed by pitchers from either team.
Both teams used three pitchers in the game. For the Heat it was Jacob Mason (2014, Anderson, OH) getting the start pitching two innings allowing no hits. Mason showed good cut action on his 76-79 fastball along with a 12/6 breaking curveball. Mason was able to strike out three batters.
Andres Nunez (2014, Archbishop McCarthy, FL) pitched two innings in relief allowing no hits. Nunez threw strikes and effectively pitched inside on batters. He had good life on his 82-85 fastball and used a late breaking slider as his out pitch. Nunez struck out four batters.

The All American Prospects Red broke up a 2-2 tie by scoring four runs in the 6th inning and won the game 6-2 over Team Citius Roland.
Stephen Chamblee (2014, Plant HS, Tampa, FL) & Kyle Tucker (2015, Plant HS, Tampa, FL) each batted 1-2 with 2 RBIs in the win for the Prospects Red. Tucker tripled and showed power potential.
Ronald Ramirez (2015, Plant HS, Tampa, FL) pitched the final three scoreless innings for All American Prospects Red. Ramirez gave up just two hits while striking out two. The right-hander's arm worked well and had a good follow through. His fastball had consistent speed between 82-85mph and touched 86mph.
Alex Hernandez (2016, George Washington HS, Bronx, NY) went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for Team Citius Roland.

Team Gwinnett and Tennessee Dores Gold were tied 1-1 until Tennessee got the go-ahead run off a sac-fly in the 5th inning and went on to win by a final score of 2-1.
Scott Ellis (2014, Goodpasture HS, Nashville, TN) & Jacob Adcock (2014, Brentwood HS, Brentwood, TN) both hit sacrifice flies to account of for the two runs scored in the win for Tennessee.
Logan Dorris pitched four innings for Dores Gold and allowed one run on two hits. Dorris struck out 5 while having good extension out front and good command on his FB. His fastball was between 77-80mph.
Logan Bell (2014, Stephens County HS, Toccoa, GA) tripled and finished 2-3 at the plate in the loss for Team Gwinnett. Bell had a confident approach with a live bat and showed he had some gap power.

The Excel Blue Sox scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning and that was all the scoring in this game as the Blue Sox beat the Ostingers Baseball Academy 16U 3-0.
Jon Sumner (2014, Spain Park HS, Hoover, AL) batted a perfect 3-3 at the plate for Excel. Sumner finished with 1 RBI and stole two bases. Austin Haight (2014, Spain Park HS, Birmingham, AL) doubled and recorded 2 RBIs in the win. Haight was a patient hitter with a good eye.
Josh Rich (2014, Spain Park HS, Hoover, AL) pitched 5 strong innings for the Sox. Rich gave up just two hits while striking out 6. He showed good command and life on his FB as he was between 81-84mph with a peak of 85mph. Jack Pierce (2014, Pelham HS, Pelham, AL) pitched one inning and also touched 85mph on his FB. Pierce had good extension out front and showed sound mechanics on his delivery.

Kyle Distler (2014, Bishop Moore, FL) was coming up with clutch hit after clutch hit today. Distler drove in five runs going 2-3 at the plate. He also showed quick feet and a quick release behind the plate. Nathan Stanley (2013, Lake Placid, FL) was 2-2 driving in two runs as well. Both of these hitters had multi RBI games without getting an extra base hit. There was only one extra base hit between both teams and the final score was 8-6.
For Marucci Elite Red Cade Mullins (2014, Homewood, AL) set the table for Marucci today going 3-3 at the plate. Mullins made hard contact and had good lift in his swing helping him get on base and hit a double. Once on base Mullins used his ability to run and quick first step to get in scoring position. Mullins scored three runs for Marucci and drove in one.

The Richmond Braves West team tried to keep up with the East Cobb Braves scoring, but in the end it was not enough. Zach Clinton (2014, Liberty Christian, VA) had a good game for Richmond going 2-2 driving in two runs. Clinton had a quick bat smacking a double in the game. Also hitting a double in the game was Joshua Campo (2014, Liberty Christian, VA) who drove in one run staying inside the ball well and displaying gap power.
For the East Cobb Braves it was Bryan Armstead (2014, Shiloh, GA) who owned Richmond pitchers. Armstead was 2-4 displaying a quick bat and aggressiveness at the dish. Armstead showed he can run by legging out a double in the game. He drove in four of the Braves' seven runs batting out of the leadoff spot.

Boca Thunder Baseball had a 3-2 lead over the Worcester Heat 16u until the 6th inning. In the top of the 6th the Heat scored 3 runs to take a 5-3 lead. The Thunder answered with 3 runs of their own to regain the lead and secure a 6-5 victory.
The Thunder were led on offense by Joshua Parker (2015, Pope John Paul II, Boca Raton, FL) who went 2-3 with a double and and 1 RBI. Parker also pitched 1 inning and struck out 1 batter. He showed good command by throwing 70% of his pitches for strikes. His fastball ranged from 79-84 mph.
Christopher Graffeo (2015, Pope John Paul II, Boca Raton, FL) was 1-2 with 3 RBI's and 1 walk. Stephen Gogreve (2015, Pope John Paul II, Boca Raton, FL) was 1-3 in the game. He showed a compact swing, a fluid stroke, and he stayed inside the ball well.
Moshup Galbraith (2014, Dexter, Newton, MA) pitched 1 inning of relief for the Heat. He has a smooth delivery and competes ion the mound. He has an explosive fastball that he can sink, it ranged from 84-86 mph. He has a good mid-70's curveball that had a 12/6 break.
Scott Manea (2014, St. John's, Shrewsbury, MA) was 1-2 with a triple, 2 RBI's, and 1 run scored for the Heat. He has a sound hitting approach with a line drive swing plane and raw power. On defense he blocks well behind the plate and has online carry on his throws.

Ryan Miller (2014, Venice, FL) showed off his skills both at the plate and behind the plate today. Miller was aggressive at the plate and hit the ball with linedrive contact. He hit gap to gap with pop hitting a double and triple in the game. This was one of the three triples hit by Florida Burn Orange in the game. Miller went 3-4 driving in two runs for the Burn. Behind the plate Miller displayed quick feet and a smooth transfer. His arm was accurate and had online carry as he was able to gun down one runner in the game.
For the SF Prospects Navy team Jacob Miednik (2014, Stoneman Douglas, FL) a top prospect provided solid relief out of the bullpen. Miednik threw two innings allowing no hits and no earned runs. He had solid arm action and good extension out front helping him get good life on his 81-84 fastball with armside run. Miednik had good command of his explosive fastball and changed speeds with his good 11/5 curveball with good depth. He was able to dominate hitters striking out three.

Russell Hughes (2013, Rockwall-Heath, TX) came up big for DBAT Mustangs Westmoreland with a two RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth inning. DBAT was down 3-1 and Hughes displayed his good bat speed and power potential ripping a triple to get his team back in the game. Hughes was brought home by a sac fly by Chris Glover (2014, Rockwall, TX), which gave DBAT Mustangs the finishing score of 4-3. Glover also was the closer shutting down SF Elite Squad White in the seventh to preserve the victory.
For SF Elite Squad Joseph Acosta (2014, Belen Jesuit, FL) was 2-3 at the dish. Acosta showed off his power potential hitting a double in the game and driving in one run. Acosta also showed off his speed stealing one base in the game and scoring one of SF Elite's three runs.

Frozen Ropes Thornton defeated Pure Hitting with a score of 5-1. Frozen Ropes collected 9 hits as a team, 4 of which were for extra bases.
Lance Brooks (2013, Prosper, Mckinney, TX) had a good day at the plate for the Frozen Ropes. He was 2-3 with a double, triple, 2 RBI's, and 1 run scored. He is an aggressive hitter with power potential. Tommy Nawa (2014, Mckinney Boyd, Mckinney, TX) was 3-3 with an RBI double. He has a compact swing with a line drive swing plane.
Andrew Fletcher (2014, Mckinney Boyd, Mckinney, TX) pitched 1.2 innings for Frozen Ropes, he struck out 3 batters. He had a balanced delivery with good command of his pitches. He has projectable stuff with a fastball that ranged from 81-84 mph. He had a good 12/6 curveball that was in the mid-60's.
Nolan Withrow (2014, Lucas Christian Academy, Mckinney, TX) earned the win on the mound, he pitched 2 innings and struck out 2 batters. His fastball ranged from 81-83 mph and topped out at 86 mph. Withrow had a good slider that was in the upper-60's.
Matthew Rhodes (2014, Whitewater, Fayetteville, GA) was 1-2 with 1 RBI and 1 walk for Pure Hitting.

Team Florida could not get a feel for the Indiana Prospects pitchers today striking out eleven times. Jay Prior (2014, Center Grove, IN) got the start pitching three innings allowing no earned runs off of one hit. Prior had solid arm action and was deceptive in his delivery helping him confuse batters. He threw 82-85 with his fastball and showed good feel on his 12/6 plus curveball. His ability to chnage speeds and hide the ball led to five strikeouts for Prior. Evan Warden (2014, Western, IN) pitched 2 2/3 with a smooth delivery and good command. Warden allowed only one hit and threw 79-82 with his fastball and had a good curveball and plus slider with good depth. Warden struck out four batters. He was also 3-5 at the dish scoring two runs and showing off his power ripping a triple. Nathaniel Rhodes (2014, Fishers, IN) pitched 1 1/3 allowing no hits and striking out two batters.
For Team Florida Arlain Sesin (2015, Miami Southridge, FL) had drove in the lone RBI after hitting a triple showing off his power potential. He was also patient at the plate drawing one walk in the game.

The ABA Braves Blue took an early 3-0 lead in the 1st inning. They continued to score runs on their way to a 9-4 victory over SCORE International 16u. They score at least 2 runs in every inning.
Charlie Goedtke (2014, McIntosh, Peachtree City, GA) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's for the Braves. He is an aggressive hitter with good bat speed and gap power. Ben Baggett (2015, Landmark Christian, Fayetteville, GA) was 1-2 with a double and 2 RBI's. Baggett showed well on defense with good lateral agility. Will Kilgore (2014, Columbus, Midland, GA) was 1-3 with a double, 1 RBI, and 2 run scored. On defense Kilgore put himself in good position to throw, he also has an accurate arm with good arm strength.
Caleb Kunkel (2014, Arlington Christian, Palmetto, GA) pitched 2.2 innings of relief, striking out 3 batters. His fastball ranged from 77-80 mph, and it topped out at 81 mph. Kunkel mixed in an upper-60's curveball.
Levi Gilcrease (2014, Cambridge Christian, Odessa, FL) was 1-3 with a double, 2 RBI's, and 1 run scored for SCORE International. He is a gap to gap hitter with life in his bat. Gilcrease drives the ball with regular contact.

Kyle Johnson (2014, Flower Mound, TX) drove in the two big runs for the DBAT Mustangs Brady team in the fifth inning helping them tie the game. Johnson used his large frame to power a single. Austen Lange (2014, Sanger, TX) had the only extra base hit of the game using his raw power to rip a double.
For Bullets Baseball Christopher Chatfield (2015, Spoto, FL) showed good bat speed and hit from gap to gap. His confident approach helped him to drive in the only RBI for his team.

The IBAHS Knights scored 1 run in the top of the first. That is the only run the crossed the plate in a well pitched match-up between the Tampa Suns 16u and the IBAHS Knights. The Knights won the game 1-0.

The Florida Red Sox managed to score two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to come back to beat Team Elite Grey 2-1. The Red Sox used three different pitchers who combined to hold Team Elite to just one hit in the game. 2014 Gray Dorsey (Gulf Breeze, FL, Gulf Breeze) started on the mound pitching three scoreless innings and striking out one batter. Dorsey attacks the batters with a 77-83mph fastball and compliments it with a decent curveball.
2014 Clay Hinton (Pensacola, FL, Washington) and 2014 Will Haynes (Pace, FL, Pace) each had doubles in the game for the Florida Red Sox. Hinton is an aggressive hitter that has power to all fields.

Only up 2-0 going into the final inning Hit N Run Baseball wanted to get some insurance runs to solidify their win. They easily did that scoring seven runs in the inning giving them a 9-0 win over the Florida Pokers Underclass White team. Harrison Keslar (2015, River Ridge, FL) was 2-3 at the dish today going 2-3 showing good bat speed driving a double. Keslar stole one base in the game as well. David Paul (2014, Clearwater Central, FL) drove the ball with regular contact today going 3-4 and scoring one run. Paul showed soft hands and the ability to throw from all angles in the infield too.
On the mound was Troy Bacon (2015, Sickles, FL) who showed good command and solid arm action. He threw all seven innings allowing no earned runs and four hits. Bacon set up hitters with a 81-83 fastball, and then changed speeds with his curveball that he had a good feel for today. Bacon struck out six batters in the game and showed he really knows how to pitch.

The Dulin Dodgers held off a late game rally from Central Florida Bandits Underclass to win the game 8-3. Dodgers starting pitcher 2014 Blake Bennett (Germantown, TN, Memphis University School) went the full seven innings and struck out 11 batters in the game. Bennett throws 76-82mph and really attacks hitters. The right-hander has a quick arm and has a sound delivery.
2014 Michael Fitzsimmons (Eads, TN, Memphis University School) went 3-3 at the plate and scored twice. Fitzsimmons has a large, athletic frame and hit a hard double in the game and stole two bases. 2014 Rob Perteet (Tuscaloosa, AL, Hillcrest) added two hits and drove in a run for the Dodgers. Perteet runs well, stealing two bases and has a confident approach at the plate.
2015 Tanner Risinger (Orlando, FL, Timber Creek) had a hit and drove in a run for the Bandits.

2013 Jesus Massaratti (Warner Robins, GA, NS Warner Robins HS) went 1-2 with a double and 2015 Lincoln Hewett (Gainesville, GA, North Hall HS) went 1-2 with a double as well for Chain.
2015 Stewart Tyler (Cordele, GA, Crisp County HS) pitched 3 innings, allowing 2 hits and no runs with 3 strikeouts for Chain. His fastball peaked at 84mph. Stewart effectively pitched inside, threw strikes and found barrels. He stayed tall on the backside and showed balanced delivery and an aggressive fastball.

The 643 DP Cougars used a team effort to beat the Long Island Rays Gold 10-4. The Cougars collected 11 hits as a team, while only allowing 2 hits for the Rays.
Nelson Douglas (2014, Westminster, Atlanta, GA) was 2-2 with a double, triple, 3 RBI's, and 2 runs scored for the Cougars. Gatorball Baseball Academy offense exploded for 16 runs in their 16-2 win over Team Elite Black. 2016 Austin Langworthy (Williston, FL, Williston) went 2-2 with three RBIs. Langworthy has gap power and is sound defensively in the outfield. 2014 Andrew Diaz (Fleming Island, FL, Fleming Island) also went 2-2, with 3 RBIs, and a stolen base. Diaz had a good approach and is a linedrive contact hitter. Leadoff hitter 2016 Austin Bogart (Inverness, FL, Citrus) had a big double and drove in three runs for Gatorball.
2014 Jordan Nichols (Gainesville, FL, Buchholz) started on the mound for Gatorball pitching four innings and allowing just one earned run. Nichols struck out two hitters and allowed just five hits. Nichols has a large, athletic frame and throws 70-72mph fastball.

Team Citius scored 6 runs in the 1st to take an early lead. That was more than enough as they went on the beat Team Mizuno of PR 16u 11-1. Team Citius was able to hold Team Mizuno to just 2 hits.

Liam Sabino (2014, Blair Academy, East Stroudsburg, PA) was 3-3 with a triple, 4 RBI's, and 1 run scored. Sabino is an aggressive hitter who drives the ball with regular contact.

SWFL Baseball 16U dominated the New York Grays 16U and won 12-0. SWFL got a strong pitching performance from 2014 Sammy Malone (Cape Coral, FL, Island Coast) who pitched three scoreless innings. The right-hander struck out six batters and allowed just one hit. Malone has an explosive fastball that sits around 82-85mph and he does a good job of mixing in a slider.
SWFL offense was led by 2014 Joseph Morales (Cape Coral, FL, Mariner) who had two hits and drove in three runs. Morales has a good eye and patient approach at the plate. 2014 Joey Howes (Port Charlotte, FL, Punta Gorda) had a big two-run double in the third inning for SWFL. Howes ended the game with 3 RBIs. 2014 Jason Moore (Estero, FL, Estero) added two hits and and RBI in the game. Moore is an aggressive hitter with power potential.

The Tennessee Dores Black scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning, and then added 6 more in the top of the 7th. Those 11 runs were more than enough to secure a 11-2 victory over the 643 DP Jaguars.

SF Elite Squad Red got on the board early and never looked back in a 6-0 win over the East Cobb Yankees. SF Elite was led by 2014 Dallas Perez (Pembroke Pines, FL, American Heritage) who went 3-3 in the game, with an RBI, and two steals. Perez has a strong, athletic body and is a good all around player. He runs the bases very well and has a sound hitting approach with good power. 2014 Edgar Badaraco Jr (Pembroke Pines, FL, American Heritage) also had two hits and drove in a run in the game for SF Elite. Badaraco Jr is solid defensively behind the plate and has a fluid stroke at the dish.
2014 Freddie Sultan (Weston, FL, University School) took the mound for SF Elite and pitched five scoreless innings and struck out six batters. The lefty allowed just four hits and did a good job of throwing strikes. Sultan throws a 72-75mph fastball and likes to use off-speed pitches often. Sultan has a good curveball and mixes in a change-up as well.
The Yankees were led by leadoff hitter 2014 Lawson Dunkin (Marietta, GA, Roswell), who had one of the few hits for his team. Dunkin also showed great speed and stole a base in the game.

The South Texas Diamondbacks rode solid pitching to a 12-0 victory over the Florida Hardballers. 2013 Andrew James Padron (McAllen, TX, Nikki Rowe) started on the mound for the Diamondback and pitched four scoreless innings and striking out seven batters. The right-hander allowed just two hits and did not walk a batter. Padron showed good command relying on his 77-84mph fastball.
2014 Lorenzo Lira (Corpus Christi, TX, Carroll) led the way offensively for South Texas. Lira went 3-3 with two doubles and two RBIs in the game. 2013 Andres Omar Gonzalez (Zapata, TX, Zapata) also had solid day at the plate with two hits and driving in two runs for the Diamondbacks. Gonzalez runs well and showed good speed legging out a triple in the game. Leadoff hitter 2013 EJ Garcia (Laredo, TX, J.B. Alexander) provided a good spark for his team going 2-4 with a triple.
