The East Cobb Astros 14U team won the 2011 WWBA 14U National Championship by defeating the Kentucky Baseball Club 14U Blue team 9-0. Astros starter Max Wotell was dominant in leading his team to the title. His fastball was clocked at 82-85 mph and and displayed life. He has outstanding arm speed and hides the ball well while delivering to the plate. He competes on the mound, attacks hitters, and works fast. Teammate and fellow pitcher Blake Hamilton was named Most Outstanding Pitcher of the Tournament. Hamilton has projectable stuff, throws easy, and has a smooth, online delivery. His fastball is 81-84 mph. On the hitting side, Kentucky Baseball Club's Daniel Neal won Tournament MVP. Neal has a fluid stroke with good extension, and raw power. His bat speed is excellent. Overall, Neal projects to be a middle of the order run producer. Lucas Herbert of the Astros had a big day at the plate. He demonstrated a good eye and a sound hitting approach.

Rebels Baseball knocked 6-4-3 DP Academy Jags out of playoffs with 10-2 victory. Austin Dickens of the Rebels had a great day at the plate going 3-3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI's. Rebels pitcher Dakota Amant pitched 5 strong innings, 3 hits, 2 runs, and 2 K's.

The Mid-Atlantic Canes Green knock the Upstate Mavericks out of playoffs with a 5-3 win. Nabholz, Karstetter, and Blankenhorn help Canes Green move on with solid day's on mound. They pitched a combined 7 innings giving up 4 hits, 3 runs, and striking out 8. Nabholz showed that he had a solid arm action with a short arm circle in back. Karstetter has a loose arm action, works fast, and attacks hitters. Blankenhorn had a smooth delivery, loose arm action, outstanding arm speed, he ended up topping out at 82 mph with his FB.

The East Cobb Astros 14U knock Team Georgia out of playoffs with a 7-1 victory. Tyler Stephenson of the East Cobb Astros had a solid day at the plate going 2-2 with a 2B, 2 runs scored and added 1 RBI. Stephenson has excellent bat speed, good plate coverage, strong wrists with flick, he also has a linedrive swing plane. The pitcher for the Astros Blake Hamilton threw 6 2/3 innings, giving up 3 hits and striking out 9. Hamilton showed good command and was around the plate with all pitches, he had a loose arm action with a live FB topping out at 84 mph.

The East Cobb Thunder take first game of double header 6-3 over the Sports A Rama Spartans. Braden Zarbnisky of the Thunder went 2-4 with a 2B, 2 runs, and 2 RBI's. Zarbnisky showed us a line drive hitting approach with quick bat and good plate coverage.The pitchers for the Thunder, Wilson, Austin, and Foulks threw a combined 7 innings, giving up 5 hits, 3 runs, and striking out 6.

The TSA-Nationals' took down the East Cobb Astros 13U in a 12-4 victory. TSA-National players McKeown and Ardente had 4 of the teams 6 hits on the day, both players went 2-3 with 2 RBI's a piece. Matt McKeown showed a short compact swing with a quick bat, he is a polished hitter and showed that he has power potential. Matt Ardente showed us a sound hitting approach, quick bat, with good extension.

The Banditos Black 14U won a close game today against the East Cobb Braves 4-2. The momentum of the game was dictated by the pitchers in this one. William Hollis of the Banditos pitched a complete game giving up 5 hits, 2 earned runs, and striking out 4. He showed a balanced delivery with a tight release, he also had a loose arm action and throws easy. The Braves pitcher Casey Cobb threw 6 1/3 innings, giving up 3 hits, 3 earned runs, striking out 3. Cobb had a loose arm action, with a good FB topping out at 84 mph.

Kennesaw Rays carried by pitchers Hahlbohn and Queen in 3-0 win over the Sandy Plains Wildcats. Noah Hahlbohn started the game for the Rays pitching 3 innings giving up 1 run and striking out 3, he topped out at 76 mph with his FB and a CB avg. of 63 mph. The pitcher that relieved Hahlbohn was Tyler Queen who also pitched 3 innings striking out 4. Queen was a bulldog on the mound always being around the plate with all the pitches he threw. He also topped his FB out at 81 mph.

The TSA-Select held on to lead after late surge from the Mid-Atlantic Canes with a 8-7 win in 6 innings. Ed Racine of the TSA-Select help his teams offense click today going 2-2 with 3 RBI's while pitcher Alec Stein had a solid day on the mound as well pitching 6 innings giving up 4 ER's and striking out 10. Ed Racine showed a sound hitting approach and power potential during the game today. Alec Stein showed good mound presence with control on both sides of the plate.

The Kentucky Baseball Club dominated over the Dunwoody Diablos this morning in an impressive 16 to 4 victory. They racked on 10 runs in the last inning of the game. A Barker was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored. D Neal was 2 for 2 with 6 RBI;s and 3 runs scored. He is athletic, lean, and wiry. Barker is a quick runner, with a good first step, and moves very well down the line.

The Upstate Mavericks defeated the higher seeded SC Longhorns 8 to 4 this morning in 7 innings. L Dimatteo of the Upstate Mavericks led the team with a 3 for 4 day, one run scored and 1 RBI. Blake Holliday from the Longhorns had a 2 for 3 day earning 2 of the teams 3 hits on the day. He is an athletic player with a large body and has a projectable body. Logan Dimatteo of the Mavericks has a fluid stroke, stays inside the ball well, and a sound hitting approach.

Robert Caleb deMarigny brought out his best stuff today to the pask in Future Elite baseball's close 1 to 0 win vs the Richmond Braves National team. Robert threw a complete game 7 innings in the win. He only gave up 1 hit and had a very impressive 8 K's. His FB topped at 76 mph with a CB at 65 to compliment. He threw 94 pitches total with good command, a smooth deceptive delivery, and sets up hitters well for his age.

Both the 6-4-3 DP Academy Jaguars and East Cobb Titans came into this game undefeated the the Perfect Game hosted tournament but only one could win. The Jaguars beat the Titans 8-4 advancing to the next round of the playoffs. Jack Brannon was 2-3 with 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI. Brannon is a leg lift type hitter with a fluid stroke, quick bat speed, strong wrists, and is an aggressive hitter. R Aarons was 2 for 2 on the day. Aarons has a compact swing but steps in the bucket slightly. He has a sound hitting approach and power to all fields. Matt Olsen of the East Cobb Titans was 2 for 2 with 1 run scored, a walk, and 1 RBI. He's an aggressive hitter with powerful potential in the future, and a slightly open stance.

Mid-Atlantic Canes Green took on the Maryland Baseball Academy 14U team today and got the job done with a 4-2 win to advance them to the next round of playoff action. Eli Nabholz of the Mid-Atlantic Canes Green had a solid day going 2 for 3 with a stolen base. He is a patient hitter with a good eye and quiet approach. Robbie Metz of Maryland was 2-3 with 1 run scored. He drives the ball well with regular contact. Josh Lam was 2-2 from Maryland and has strong wrists with good extension and a lively bat; he shows powerful potential.

Team Georgia v Bladiator Baseball was a close one when most of the game was between a 1 run differential, Georgia won the game 6-5 with both teams scoring 1 run in the last inning of play. Brett Anderson of Team Georgia was 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's, a run scored, and a walk. He has a powerful approach at the plate and a large framed body to generate it from. Georgia's Grant Berry also showed he can hit well with a 2 for 2 day and 1 RBI. John Darling of the Gladiators went down fighting with a 2 for 3 game and 1 RBI.

East Cobb won their first playoff opportunity of the 14U WWBA Championship this morning 4-2 against the 6-4-3 DP Cougars. Tyler Stephenson, and Blake Jackson had solid plate performances to lift the Astros to victory. Tyler Stephenson was 1 for 2 with a run scored and a walk while Blake Jackson was also 1 for 2 at the plate with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Stephenson hits well with a large framed body, excellent bat speed, and a linedrive swing plane. Jackson has a slightly open stance with consistent contact approach. The Cougars had 2 errors which could have proved costly in the game. John Petita came in to close the game with 4 K's inn only 2 1/3 innings pitched. He has a good curveball with 11/5 break and he has the the ability to pitch downhill well.

Rain and lightning delayed the game today between the East Cobb Lightning 14U and Banditos White, but that wasn't enough to cool down the Lightning 14U. East Cobb won 6-2 with many errors by the Banditos. Jordan Pickerill threw 5 strong innings, with 1 hit given, 2 earned runs and 11 K's. He had a deceptive delivery and stayed around the plate the whole game, he displayed a quick fast ball at 81 mph. Andreus Faltsek for Banditos white threw 4 2/3 and gave up 2 hits, 3 earned runs, and 9 K's. Effortless arm action, effectively wild and has a FB topped at an impressive 87 mph.

Sandy Plains Wildcats 14U beat SC Shockwave 9-6. Shockwave started out with 4 runs early in the first the cooled down while the Wildcats started their comeback. Shockwave's Caleb Watkins went 2-2 (Double and triple) with 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Austin Newman was 1-2 with a double and 2 RBI's. The Sandy Plains Waildcat's, Zach Teem, was 1-3 with a double 2RBI's and 2 runs scored. Teem had good abt speed, a lively bat and he is a powerful gap to gap hitter. Hunter Hutcheson was 1-3 with a triple 1 RBI and a run scored. He flashed a fluid swing and showed confidence at the plate.

The game was tied 1-1 until the bottom of the 5th when Maryland put up 3 to take a 4-1 lead that they would hold until the end. Maryland's pitcher, Colsen Kirchner threw 6 2/3 innings giving 3 hits, 1 earned run and 7 K's with 75 % of his pitches being strikes. Sports A Rama Spartans and the CBC O's Orange had a tough fought game where runs were hard to come by, the Spartans won 1-0. Spartans scored on a FC hit by Poretsky in the bottom of the 6th inning to bring in the only run of the game. Both teams pitchers threw complete games and had to fight to keep their teams in contention. Hunter Siniard threw 7 innings, gave up 2 hits and struck out 6 batters. He has a smooth delivery and loose arm action with a FB topped at 74 mph and a CB at 63 mph. As of now he seems more of a thrower that a pitcher. Andrew Glenn of the O's threw 6 innings, 4 hits, and 1 K. He stays tall on his backside, throws easy, and tends to throw across his body with a slightly dragging arm.

The Upstate Mavericks, in a game of lead changes and ties, prevailed against the Ohio Force in the 8-7 victory in 9 innings. The Mavericks Fitts and Stamler had a combined 10 strike outs. Dakota Fitts changes speeds well with online delivery, his FB topped at 80 mph, and CB at 58 mph. Ryan Stamler has loose arm action with good follow through with nice 12/6 break on his CB and an 82 mph FB. Logan Tolbert held his own at the plate for the Mavericks going 3-4 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. He has a confident approach and hits to all fields, he stays inside the ball well.

Mid-Atlantic Canes Green put up a 3 spot in the first inning and the momentum carried them on to a 6-2 win vs the East Cobb Tigers. Caleb Pepperday of the Canes Green held his own for 4 1/3 on the hill, striking out while giving up 2 runs. He was relieved by pitcher Travis Blankenhorn who threw 2 2/3 giving up 0 runs and 4 K's. He shows mound presence and attacks hitters with sound mechanics and is aggressive. Blankenhorn also went 2-3 with 1 HR, 1 double, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI.

Richmond was behind most of the game until the 6th inning when they put up 2 runs to take the lead then held the Georgia Roadrunners-Grey to win the game. The pitchers were the pace-setters for this game, taking strong command of the the tempo. Roadrunners pitchers, Pearson and Sewell, struck out a combined 11 batters, but the 7 walks proved costly. Braves pitchers, Fontana and Denton, struck out a combined 8 batters, but kept the walks to a minimum which may have been the difference. Brandon Sewell of the Roadrunners has a deceptive, over the top arm angle, with a good FB topped at 78 mph and CB at an average 65 mph.

Future Elite Baseball came out hot with a 11-6 win over TSA National. They had 13 hits total, and were very consistent in the field as well. TSA-Nationals' faulty gloves cost them with 6 errors, resulting in 7 total earned runs taking the wind out of their sails. Jason Santana of Future Elite was 2-3 batting (double) with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's. Matt McKeweon of TSA also had a strong day at the plate, he was 2-3 with a homerun, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's. He has a quick bat, compact swing, excellent bat speed and can hit to all fields.

The Charlotte Hurricanes shot themselves in the foot today with costly errors in their 9-4 loss vs the Dunwoody Diablos. Jay Scott of the Diablos went 2-3 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored, and 1 stolen base. There were no earned runs for the Hurricanes, the fielding for Charlotte seemed to fall apart in this one. Max Bazin of the Hurricanes threw 3 1/3 innings giving up 2 hits with 5 K's. His FB topped at 79 mph which is above average for his age and a 64 mph CB. He shows quick arm action, with a high 3/4 and room to fill in his body.

The East Cobb Astros had an eye opener today with a close game in the 32 seed Knockhouse Saints v 1 seed Astros. The East Cobb Astros pulled out a close one with runs produced late in the 5th and 6th innings. Both starting pitchers had solid outings but errors proved costly for each team. Daniel Wentworth of the Astros threw 6 innings, gave up 6 hits and 3 earned runs with 5 K's. Alex Adsit of the Saints pitchhed 6 innings, gave up 5 hits, 2 earned runs with 3 K's. Adsit also had a strong hitting game, he was 2-4 with a double from his fluid stroke, patience at the plate, and powerful stroke.

The Canes North came out strong with 6 runs in the first inning and held off the Knoxville Stars 14U with an 8-4 victory. Stephen Polansky had a solid offensive day going 2 for 3 with a double and 1 RBI, while Nick Butts held his own on the mound. Butts went 5 solid innings of work with 8 K's. Polansky showed a fluid stroke with a quiet hitting approach and power to all fields. Nick Butts topped his FB at 79 mph with good command, loose arm action, and a balanced delivery. He attacks hitters and get outs with formidable mound presence.

6-4-3 DP Academy Jaguars knock the Jack City Dodgers 11-4 in 6 innings of play. Connor Stutts of the Jags went 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's in the win. He has good bat speed, and has ability to hit to all fields with power potential, there is slight lift in his aggressive swing and approach. Ryne Inman of the Dodgers had a swell day as also when he went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's.

In the first round of the playoffs the East Cob Titans 14U came back to win the game vs Orlando Baseball Academy 14U in the bottom of the 7th inning by scoring 2 runs when they need them most. The Titans first 3 batters in the order went for a combined 6 for 11 with 6 runs scored and 2 RBI's. Those same players all were very disruptive and aggressive on the bases with multiple stolen bases. Bobby Rodriguez of Orlando went 2-3 with 2 RBI's, he showed a well balanced swing and he can stay inside the ball well batting.

He also went 2-3 on offense with 1 RBI to help his team. He has a deceptive delivery, with movement on his FB at 80 mph and good command; his arm work well for his age. Houston Heat White's player Cameron Kremers went 2-3 with 2 RBI's, one hit was a double. He is athletic with much potential, his patient approach and ability to drive the ball with regular solid contact makes him a tough out.

The Bronx Bombers shutout the Jr. Ambassadors 13-0. Anthony Polanco threw a complete game (4 innings) no-hitter with 7 K's. He is a strong player, who shows good command and throws strikes, he has mound presence and uses his legs well. His FB topped at 74 and CB at 55 mph. Felix Camacho of the Bombers went 2-2 (single, double) with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI's. His gap power proved he is a middle of the lineup run producer.

Gladiator Baseball had a big victory today beating Banditos Black 10-1. Ford Proctor and Shane Selman, the 3, 4 hitters for the Gladiatorshit for a combined 4-6 with 4 runs scored and 2RBI's Selman added on a triple, stolen base, and a walk. Proctor is seen as a patient hitter with a good eye. Gladiator pitchers Edmonds and Roedahl threw a combined 7 innings giving up 1 run and 7 K's.

The Orlando Baseball Academy knocked off Sports A Rama by a score of 6 to 1. Orlando Academy pitching only gave up 2 hits, which came from two of the three bottom hitters in the Spartans lineup. close fought game. Gladiator pitcher David John Petrinsky led his team to a

but had a standout performance from Bailey Mathews. Bailey has a large frame
and displays power potential. Due to this and the fact that he has an

Jacob Wojciechowski led the Michigan Mustangs 14U to a 17-6
victory over the CBC O’s Orange.
Wojciechowski has an open stance and a good eye at the plate. The hitter
demonstrates a sound hitting approach. He has a quick and fluid stroke and
stays inside the ball well. His gap power was evident in his hitting during this
game.

The Dunwoody Diablos won a close game against Falcon
Baseball, led by pitcher Chandler Dinsmore. Dinsmore has a smooth delivery with
good hip rotation and arm action. He flashes a 12/6 curveball and he competes

with all his pitches.

fantastic game for the ABA Braves. Payne has a large, athletic, and strong

plate. Jones He is an aggressive hitter with a fluid stroke and good bat speed.

The Mid-Atlantic Canes Green avoid costly errors unlike the Indiana Dirtbags in the Canes win 3-2. The Dirtbags pitcher Brandon Yoho threw 6 strong innings, 1 earned run, and 7 K's with his 76 mph FB and 66 mph CB. The Canes pitchers, Ryan Karstetter, and Eli Nabholz gave up 1 earned run and had 4 earned runs combined. Eli topped his FB at 75 mph and Kerstetter had an 81 mph FB. Karstetter has sound mechanics and a deceptive delivery with cutting life on his FB.

The 6-4-3 DP Academy Jaguars won in 4 innings against the Banditos White by a score of 14 to 1. The Banditos committed too many errors to content for this game. Connor Stutts of the Jaguars had an all round good game pitching and hitting. He went 2-3 with a triple, stolen base, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI's. He also pitched 2 solid innings giving up 1 hit, 2 K's and 74% were strikes. His bat came alive with his ability to hit to all fields, powerful extension, and good bat speed.

The 6-4-3 DP Cougars won in a tight game vs the Charlotte Megastars by a score of 2-1. Tanner Thomson threw 6 innings and had a solid game at the plate. He had 5 K's and only gave u 1 earned run in their victory. He was 2 for 3 with 1 run scored. This proved to be a pitching duel between the two ball clubs. Only 6 hits were recorded between the two teams.

The Canes North won by a score of 4-0 against the East Cobb Thunder with excellent pitching. Robert Fitzwater threw 5 innings giving up 0 hits and 4 K's, he is a competitor on the mound, and has a descent FB topping at 81 with CB potential at 66 mph. Alex Abby from the Canes helped on offense with a 2-4 performance and 2 RBI's, he was involved with 2 double plays on defense.

The Forsyth Owls beat the Canes 14U south by a score of 9-1. Jeremy Johnson went 3-3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI's and threw 5 innings, striking out 6. The Kennesaw Rays were down 8-0 to the EC Patriots after 4 innings and made a valiant effort to make it a game, but fell short with a 8-5 loss. Sam Herrick was player that stood out the most going 2 for 2 with an RBI, and pitching 4 2/3 innings pitched with 5 K's and 0 ER. Herrick was effectively wild with his over the top arm angle keeping batters off balance.

- Both Logan Dimatteo and Logan Tolbert went 2 for 3 games at the plate, scored one run, and pitched in their 4 to 3 victory vs the CBC O's Navy. Tolbert threw 4 innings and gave up one hit with 5 K's, while Dimatteo pitched 2 innings with 2 K's. Tolbert is seen as a pitcher with good command, quick arm, and smooth delivery. EC Titans ran away with a 12-0 win against the Blue Ridge Blasters with the help of Alonzo Jones, and Kyle Garrard at the plate, while the bats of the Blue Ridge Blasters were held to 2 hits shutout by the Titans pitchers. Alonzo Jones went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI with a sound hitting approach, and drove the ball with regular contact. Kyle Garrard also contributed with a 2-run HR in the top of the 5th inning.

The Jack City Dodgers put up 17 runs in their win vs KY Baseball 14U Blue today, the final was 17-7. Tanner Hart of KY went 1-1 with 2 runs scored, he is a patient hitter with a good feel for the strike zone. On the opposition, Bryan Whiting was 2-2 with 3 runs scored, he has a medium frame with room for growth. Ryne Inman took the mound for the Dodgers and threw all 4 innings with 6 K's. However, he seemed to fall behind in the count and lacked control at times. His FB shows slight movement and is a crafty lefty. Whitner had 4 RBI's for the Dodgers.

Maryland's Chris Convers put the the team on his back today when he pitched 3 innings on defense and did exceptional at the plate, his FB is straight and has a quick arm. The Hitting Factory Warriors had in impressive win today with a 15-0 win over Falcon Baseball, but more importantly, Carson Aufderher threw a complete game (3 inning) no hitter with 3 K's. His FB topped at 74 MPH. Darryl Artis and Devin Sweet both went 3-3 with 3 runs scored to carry the team to a short victory, Sweet also had 4 RBI's, he has a projectable frame with athleticism.

Ohio force won today vs the Jr. Ambassadors 15 to 1, but thats the minor news. There were no hits allowed by Force pitchers, Cappel and Burns, along with tough defensive work in the field. Peyton Burdick of the Ohio Force came out swinging today, he went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored, 3 RBI's, and 1 walk. He displays good bat speed, a confident approach, and power at the plate.

The Canes 14U South defeated Mass Pride Baseball 11-0 today in Allatoona. Mass Pride's Aaron Stamper went 2-3 with 3 runs scored, he has a line drive swing with a sound hitting approach. After 2 hours of regulation there was still not a decided winner, the game ended in an 8-8 tie. Centerfield Dawgs, Casey Selfe, went 3-3 with one run scored, he is a patient hitter and blocks well behind the dish. Chain Black came to impress as well, Nix went 3-4 with an RBI, and teammate L. The SC Longhorns won today against the Charlotte Hurricanes 14U by a score of 6-5. Noah Yates of the hurricanes had a good game with a 2-3 game at the plate with and 3 RBI's, Noah is an aggressive hitter with raw power who can hit to the gaps. Aaron Pilkington pitched 3 and 2/3 innings with 6 K's, he shows athleticism and a heavy sinking FB with good follow through. Stephenson has a quiet hitting approach with excellent bat speed and good plate coverage. The score says most of it in this game as the Charlotte Hurricanes 14U defeat the East Cobb Patriots 16-0. The patriots only earned 1 hit in the game as Hurricanes pitcher Brian Meeks threw 2 innings with 4 K's and his FB topped at 78 mph, he was effective throwing inside on batters hands.
Noah Yates of the Hurricanes went 3-3 with 2 RBI's and is an aggressive hitter with power and pop in his swing. Clay Helvey went 2-2 with 4 RBI's and has a lively bat with a solid linedrive swing.

The Field of Dreams Dodgers took the win on Monday over Team All American with a score of 10-5. Team All American hitter Ryan Sloniger had a good day at the dish with a 2 for 2 game. The day went a little better for the Field of Dream Dodgers. JR Robinson went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's, he has good at speed, linedrive hitter, and a quick bat. Raylen Elzy also posted a 2-3 game with 2 RBI's and stayed inside the ball. Jakobi Meyers had went 2-3 as well and can read the hops well on defense. New England's Passatempo had a hot day in both temperature and at the plate, he went 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored and showed a patient eye with good pitch selection. Pitcher, Joe Klingensmith, also showed up to play for the Firebirds, as he went 3-4 with 5 RBI's in their win. He had a good approach at the plate as athletic player with power and a lively bat.

The Knoxville Stars 14 looked promising in their first game of the tournament with an 8-0 win over CBC O's Orange. Pitcher Christian Moore threw the complete 6 inning game. The Bronx Bombers proved they can compete with native competition in their 3-0 victory over the East Cobb Astros 13U. Felix Camacho went 2-2 batting and displayed a patient approach with good pitch selection, he is a middle of the lineup run producing hitter with raw power. While Adam De La Cruz countered on defense with a complete 7 inning game shutout. His FB topped at a solid 78, and a CB at 65mph. His FB shows slight cut to the arm-side, and he has good follow through. His loose arm kept him in the game and he uses his lower half well, but seems to fall behind in the count often.
Though the younger aged Astros were shutout, Carter Kieboom came to compete. He went 2-2 at the plate which were the Astros only hits of the game. On defense, pitcher Thad Harris threw 5 solid innings with 7 K's, his deceptive delivery helped keep runners off the bases. Harris's FB hit 76mph and has a good follow through with long arm action and quick arm.

The South Chester Express 14U defeated Mid-Atlantic Canes Orange by a score of 7 to 3, with the great hitting performances by both teams one would have expected a much higher score. The Canes players Ben Macdonald, Kuntz, and Richmond all went 2 for 3 and Kunts drove in 2 runs at the plate. Macdonald displayed above average bat speed for his age, while Richmond seems very athletic and wiry.
South Chester Express 14U also had strong hitters in the game, CJ Henderson, Michael Webb, and Cody Boydstrum all went 2 for 3. Henderson has a lively bat and Boydstrum displayed good arm strength in the field. Webb stays inside the ball well and slight lift in his swing.

Ohio Force defeated native East Cobb Thunder 6 to 3 with strong pitching from Sam Hauer. He threw 5 full innings with an impressive 74% for strikes and a FB that topped at 75 and a descent slider at 71 mph. Ronnie Murphy padded his pitching with a 2 for 3 day and 3 RBI's. He has a powerful approach, and drives the ball regularly with solid contact.
The Thunder also showed they could compete with solid plate appearances from Drew WIlson and Braden Zarbnisky. They each went 2 for 3 but it wasn't quite enough to pull out the "W." Wilson held his own with 2 RBI's in the game.

The Indiana Dirtbags came to show what they're capable of vs. TSA Select with the 5 to 1 victory. Led by solid pitching from David Herrmann who threw 111 pitches in 6 and 2/3 innings. Cobb pitcher, Burton Dulaney showed good control with slight arm side run on his FB and definite command on the mound, he is a polished pitcher with a ¾ arm slot and good feel for his 11/5 CB. He also went 2-3 hitting. On the other side, pitcher Matt McKeown lacked command of his FB and seemed to muscle the ball to the plate with his late hand separation.

Tyler Davis of the ABA Braves 14U came to play when he went 2-3 at the plate with his large frame, balanced swing, and sound hitting approach. However the team just couldn’t get opposing pitcher Josh Brown out of the game. Josh showed a large frame with room to fill. He had a bit of a stiff delivery and wraps his arm behind his body but got the job done with his sound mound presence.

In an 11 to 0 win over TSA-Regional, Tanner Hart went 2-3 showing good plate coverage, good extension, and a sound hitting approach. His gap power kept the opposition on their toes.

Pascual showed a fluidstroke at the plate with a quick bat and aggressive approach. His gap power earned him two solidhits. Will Cosby chose a differentway but got the job done with a 2-3 day with hard grounders up the middle.

The Knockhouse Saints 14U team scored a 3-0 victory over the
6-4-3 DP Cougars. Saints starting pitcher Alex Adsit dominated, pitching a
complete game shut out. He has good command of his fastball and curveball and
throws strikes while changing speeds to keep hitters off balance. Adsit
competes when he takes the hill. His quick arm action works well on the mound.

The Mid-Atlantic Canes Green defeated Georgia Roadrunners
Gray 15-0 today. Connor Bawick paced their attack with 6 RBIs and also pitched
a complete game shut out. He has a large frame with room to fill out. On the
mound, Bawick pitches with a ¾ arm angle with a short arm circle in the back. At
the plate, he demonstrates a confident approach.

Jonathan Kruppe went two for four today with three RBI's to help lead Team Acceleration to a six to zero victory over Sandy Plains Wildcats 14U. Jonathan has a strong build and a quiet hitting approach with good bat speed that helped him deliver a triple in the fifth inning to give his team the momentum the rest of the way. That triple showed that Kruppe has gap to gap power.

The East Cobb Tigers scored a 7-0 over South Chester
Express. Tigers starter Burton Dulaney led the way by pitching 5 scoreless
innings. He uses a three pitch mix (fastball, curveball, and change) to miss
bats. Dulaney’s quick arm works well on the mound and he is a polished pitcher
with projectable stuff.

Starter Cameron Kremers pitched 3 scoreless innings. Kremers flashes an
excellent curveball and changes speeds to keep the hitters off balance. He also
pitches downhill and finishes with a good follow through.

today in their 7-4 win over the Blue Ridge Blasters. Coker and Bowers each went
2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Caleb Watkins also pitched in with 2

Derek Dallas pitched 5 strong innings giving up 3 hits and striking out 4 without giving up an ER in a 6-4 win over CBC O's Navy. Dallas's mound presence and bulldog mentality helped lead his team to victory. He has a deceptive delivery with life on his FB that has cutting action that made it a hard day at the plate for CBC O's Navy team.

Devon Fisher went 3-3 in the game for the Braves with a double to help pace the offense. Fisher is a patient hitter who hits to all fields and the ball jumps off the bat. Fisher has gap to gap power and makes vary hard contact during the game.

Austin Leonard threw a complete game for the Charlotte Megastars today earning the win. Leonard allowed one run on 4 hits with 0 walks and 10 strikeouts. Leonard's fastball topped out at 80 mph and a curveball that was 69 mph. Leonard around the plate with his pitches has a mound presence and sets up hitters on the mound. Leonard maintained his velocity throughout the game with good late break on his curveball and elevates his fastball at times.
Daniel Wilcutt got the start for the Diamond Devils and went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 2 runs on 6 hits with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Wilcutt's fastball topped out at 78 mph with a curveball that topped out at 65 mph. Wilcutt uses a high 3/4 arm angle with loose arm action a balanced and online delivery.

Nicholas Butts pitched the final 4 and 2/3 innings for the Canes North to get the win. Butts's fastball topped out at 79 mph with a curveball that was 68 mph and a changeup that was 70 mph. Butts has good control of his pitches and has a good mound presence. Butts uses a 3/4 arm angle with a balanced delivery and uses his legs on the mound.
Jordan Ramey went 2-3 with a double and 2 runs scored in a losing effort for the Ohio Force. Ramey has a sound confidant hitting approach; moves well down the line and has impact speed.
Ronnie Murphy was 2-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI'S in the game for the Ohio Force. Murphy has power potential with a power approach at the plate and drives the ball with regular contact.

Charles Hecht started at the plate and on the mound today during his team's 12-2 victory this afternoon. Hecht was 3-3 at the plate with 1 run scored and 2 RBI'S. Where Hecht really shined though was on the mound where he went 5 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts. Hecht's fastball topped out at 81 with a 67 curveball. Hecht has a quick arm with a 3/4 arm angle. Hecht has good command of his fastball with life on it to go with a 12-6 curveball and knows what he's doing on the mound.

Martinez's fastball topped out at 76 with his curveball topping out at 64 and a change-up that topped 64. Martinez has a loose solid arm action with a 3/4 arm angle. Martinez has good command of his pitches with a smooth delivery a good 12-6 break on his curveball with good depth.

The Sandy Plains Wildcats had a thrilling 7-6 win this morning scoring a run in the top of the sixth to win the game. Zach Teem was 2-3 with 1 run scored 2 RBI'S 2 doubles and a stolen base in the win for the Wildcats. Teem has good bat speed with a live bat and some gap to gap power.

Comeaux has a short compact swing with good plate coverage and good bat speed. He also shows a sound hitting approach and drives the ball with regular contact. Robbie Metz of Maryland Baseball Academy threw 4 shutout innings in his team’s 8-0 victory of the East Cobb Lightning. Metz's fastball topped out at 77 mph with his curveball topping 70 mph and a change-up that was also 70. Metz shows good command of his pitches on the mound with an effortless arm action and uses a 3/4 arm angle. Metz has a smooth delivery sets up hitters and was able to keep the lightning hitters of balance all day.

Darius Gullis was 3-4 with an RBI in the game to help the Braves in their win over the Banditos White. Gullis has a sound approach at the plate with a line drive swing. Once Gullis is on the bases he likes to run has a quick first step on the bases, and has good instincts on the bases.

Landon Faulkner of the East Cobb Titans led his team to a 3-1 victory today by throwing a complete game 2 hit winner over Future Elite Baseball. Faulkner's fastball topped out at 80 mph with a change-up that topped 69 and a slider topping 68. Faulkner has good command of all his pitches and throws strikes.
