The game featured many prospect pitchers and was watched by a hoard of college coaches.  They included:

RHP Cameron Tekker (2012, Waxhaw, NC):  The 6-3, 180 lb Tekker had trouble with his command, walking 6 hitters to go with his 7 K's in 4+ innings but raw stuff was no problem.  Tekker pitched between 87-91 mph with a whippy loose arm action and both his heavy sinking 76 mph change up and mid 70's curveball were solid secondary pitches, although Tekker tended to get under his curveball frequently

LHP Bryan Donovan (2012, Waxhaw, NC):  Donovan throws from a cross body low 3/4's release point and pitched at 84-86 mph.  He didn't throw a breaking ball, unusual for a southpaw with his delivery and something he will have to develop at the next level.

RHP Josh Sborz (2012, McLean, VA):  Sborz came into the game in relief in the 3rd inning and threw 5 innings of 2 hit baseball.  He pitched in the 86-90 mph range and showed good feel and depth to his 76 mph curveball.  Sborz also had a key triple in the Canes 4 run 5th inning.

RHP Mitch Brown (2012, Rochester, MN):  Brown pitched in the 87-89 mph range from a somewhat cross body delivery and had nice life on his fastball.  His best secondary pitch was a hard biting curveball around 73 mph and he also threw a couple of change ups.
