Jordan Ebert (2012 Baldwin County HS, Ala.) hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh Friday morning to give Marucci Elite an 8-7 win over Indians Baseball Friday morning at the East Cobb Complex.
According to his scout notes, Ebert showed aggressiveness at the plate and good power, registering 88 mph off the bat.
Right fielder
Colin Rodgers (2012 Parkview Baptist HS, Ala.) also garnered attention, going 2-for-2 with a single, a double and two RBI. Rodgers displayed "solid contact all day" at the plate, "quick bat speed," and "good power" for his 6-0, 173-pound frame.
Meanwhile, Marucci RHP
Russell Reynolds (2012 Parkview Baptist HS, Ala.) topped out at 88 mph and sat between 81-87. Coming out of the bullpen in the second inning, Reynolds allowed no runs on three hits and struck out four.
He possesses a "projectable build" and "works quickly." His 76-mph also "dives quickly."
