Marietta, Ga. — East Cobb Astros RHP Mitchell Webb (2014 S. Paulding HS, Ga.) topped out at 85 mph and struck out 10 through five innings in a 9-1 championship quarterfinal win over Rocks Baseball at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
Webb allowed one run on three hits and showed good life on his fastball, good balance, a smooth delivery, and a "dirty" 12-6, 66-mph curve.

Marietta, Ga. — Nathaniel Lowe (2013 Pope HS, Ga.) showed signs of a complete hitter Saturday afternoon in a 12-8 win for the East Cobb Titans at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a pair of singles and a double, displaying maturity at the plate, a soft load, and a very balance approach, according to his scout notes. At 6-2, 170 pounds, he also possesses a projectable build.
Meanwhile, Elijah Sepineski (2013 North Cobb HS, Ga.) also went 3-for-4 with a single and two doubles. Sepineski, a 5-11, 1 70-pound left-handed pitcher, had good bat speed, a nice swing, and power potential.

Marietta, Ga. — RHP Chase Haas (2013 Spring Valley HS, S.C.) pitched a complete game seven-inning, two-hit shutout Saturday afternoon to advance the Palmetto Elite to the championship semifinals on Sunday.
He also went perfect at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two singles in the lead-off spot.
Palmetto center fielder Anders DeShields (2013 Byrnes HS, S.C.) also hit a three-run home run in the third before third baseman Chase Austin (2013 Chapin HS, S.C.) followed up with a solo shot for an early 4-0 lead.
Both Austin and DeShields showed good power and had a quick bat, according to their scout notes.

Marietta, Ga. — Chase Haas (2013 Spring Valley HS, S.C.) and Gabe Brandner (2013 Heathwood Hall, S.C.) put their talent on display Friday morning at Sprayberry High School.
Haas, a 5-8, 150-pound shortstop, showed his "excellent eye" in a 2-for-2 effort, hitting a triple and a double. Brandner went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run that went at least 380 feet, according to his scouting notes. At 6-5, 205 pounds, he possesses power and a huge body.

Marietta, Ga. — Brody Williamson (2013 Vestavia HS, Ala.) showed quick hands and lots of power Friday morning at Sprayberry High School.
Williamson went 2-for-3 with a RBI double and a single. At 6-2, 200 pounds, he possesses a "nice, big baseball body," according to his scout notes.
Zac Wyatt (2013 Vestavia HS, Ala.) also went 2-for-3 and showed a "short compact swing with some power."
Jake Bywalski (2013 Thompson HS, Ala.) showed "nice hands" and "hit the ball hard" in his 2-for-3 effort, too.

Marietta, Ga. — Andrew Sipp (2014 Bishop Moore HS, Fla.) hit a third-inning grand slam to help the Florida Flash to a 9-1 win over the Kennesaw Mustangs at the East Cobb Complex Friday afternoon.
Sipp is a 5-8, 150-pound catcher who showed a nice, easy stroke in the box and has "Randy Oliva"-type power, according to his scouting notes.

Marietta, Ga. — Four East Cobb hitters impressed Friday afternoon in the East Cobb Yankees' 7-6 win over the East Cobb Longhorns at Sprayberry High School.
Nick Wise (2012 Alexander HS, Ga.) went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI single and showed "a very quick stroke." Picther Adam Nun (2012 home school, Ga.) went 2-for-2 with a pair of singles and showed "a quick, short swing."
Meanwhile, Jake Henson (2012 Etowah HS, Ga.) went 1-for-2 with a three-RBI triple, displaying "an early load and a short, compact swing."
For the Yankees, left fielder Austin Green (2014 Campbell HS, Ga.) went 2-for-2 with two singles. Green showed a "long swing" and looked "powerful."

Marietta, Ga. — Five different hitters homered Friday morning in a 17-11 slugfest between the East Cobb A's and WCB Cardinals on field No. 5 at the East Cobb Complex.
Alec Sard (2012 Woodward HS, Ga.), Nathan Schultz (2012 Woodward HS, Ga.), Grant Morgan (2013 Kell HS, Ga.) all went yard for East Cobb, while Michael DeLonge (2013 South Paulding HS, Ga.) and Matt Vaccaro (2013 Hillgrove HS, Ga.) do so for the WCB Cardinals.
Sard impressed in his 3-for-4 performance, showing "aggressiveness," a "smooth swing," "good contact," and "good instincts on the base paths."

Marietta, Ga. — Three East Cobb Astros pitchers combined for a one-hit shut out Friday morning in a 12-0 win over the East Tennessee Flames.
Eric Knox (2013 Effingham County HS, Ga.), Reed Scott (2013 Blessed Trinity HS, Ga.), and Hunter Anglin (2013 Gainesville HS, Ga.) pitched four scoreless innings and tallied five total strike outs. Anglin and Knox topped out at 82 mph, while Scott flashed 80.
Knox gave up the lone hit, a lead-off double by East Tennessee first baseman Eric Freeman (2013 Farragut HS, Tenn.)

Marietta, Ga. — Rhett Harper (2014, Ga.), Garrett Guy (2014 Peachtree Ridge HS, Ga.), Weston McArthur (2014 Calhoun HS, Ga.), Lucas Cadalzo (2013 Milton HS, Ga.) all went yard Friday morning in Team Rawlings' 12-4 win over Pinnacle Prospects on field No. 5 at the East Cobb Complex.
McArthur, who went 3-for-3 with two singles and a homer, showed confidence at the plate, a nice short swing, and good contact to all fields, according to his scout notes.
Harper, who went 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run home run, also displayed "good contact."
Pinnacle Prospects catcher Kyle Murphy (2013 Wesrminster HS, Ga.) also hit well, going 2-for-2. According to his scouting notes, Murphy had a nice compact swing and makes contact. At 5-8, 160 pounds, he also has a big, athletic build.

Marietta, Ga. — Jacksonville Warrior left fielder Nicholas Duganier (2012 Arlington County HS, Fla.) went 3-for-3 in a 4-1 win over the East Cobb Titans Thursday night at Pope High School.
Duganier tallied two singles and a double for two RBI, showing a "quick, quiet bat," "good contact," and a swing that was "short to the ball."

Marietta, Ga. — East Cobb Astros RHP Travis Demeritte (2012 Winder Barrow HS, Ga.) topped out at 90 mph Thursday night during the Astros' 9-6 win over Batters' Box Baseball. Demeritte, listed at 5-11, 170 pounds, sat between 85-89 and showed a nice break and tight spin on his 75-mph curve.
Through 2 1/3 innings, he allowed no hits and struck out three.
Keenan Innis (2013 Blessed Trinity HS, Ga.) and Hunter Webb (2013 Russell County HS, Ga.) also impressed at the plate, talling three hits apiece. Innis, a left-handed batter, recorded two singles and a double, while Webb managed three singles and showed his "wheels" on the base paths.

Marietta, Ga. — East Cobb Rays shortstop Jake Jensen (2012 Kell HS, Ga.) went 4-for-4 Thursday afternoon at Pope High School, reeling off three singles and a double.
At the plate, Jensen did a "good job getting his hands through the zone." He also registered a 3.98 home-to-first time.

Marietta, Ga. — Chase Austin (2013 Chapin HS, S.C.), Jackson Shuford (2012 Irmo HS, S.C.), and Davis Funderburk (2013 AC Flora HS, S.C.) all homered Thursday night in an 8-1 win over the East Cobb Longhorns.
Austin, who went 2-for-3 with a single and a two-run home run, showed "good hustle" and appeared to be a "good line-drive hitter." Meanwhile, the 6-0, 170-pound Funderburk had "good wrists."

Marietta, Ga. — ABA Pelicans shortstop Blake Page (2013 Northgate HS, Ga.) and first baseman Spencer Perry (2013 Northgate HS, Ga.) both when 3-for-4 at the plate Thursday afternoon in a 13-6 win over the Tennessee Flames at Spayberry High School.
Page, who "loads well" and "drives the ball well to the opposite field," hit three singles. Meanwhile, Perry, a "strong and compact" player according to his scout notes, tallied two singles and a double.
Ben Clarke (2013 Newman HS, Ga.) also went 3-for-4, and showed "quick hands" and a "nice stroke" at the plate.

Marietta, Ga. — Florida Flash RHP Nelson Garcia (2013 Deland HS, Fla.) topped out at 83 mph Thursday afternoon in 9-8 comeback win against the East Cobb A's. According to his scout notes, Garcia had a smooth delivery, great arm action, and a nasty slider. He also has a "nice, athletic body" at 5-10, 160 pounds.
Flash shortstop Hunter Lee (2014 Winter Park HS, Fla.) also impressed, going 1-for-3 at the plate and showing "great discipline" and "a short, solid stroke." Labeled as "a player" according to his scout notes, Lee also possesses "good hands."
East Cobb A's first baseman Colby Houser (2013 Bremen HS, Ga.) also showed "great hands" on defense, and "has some pop" on offense. Houser went 2-for-3 with a single and a double for two RBI.

Pinnacle first baseman Chip Capper (2013 Westminster HS, Ga.) hit well, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and two singles. Meanwhile, shortstop Kyle Murphy (2013 Westminster HS, Ga.) went 2-for-4 with two singles and "hit the ball well through the zone," while Joseph Stuhrenberg (2013 Woodward Academy, Ga.) went 2-for-2 with a single and a RBI double, "swung the bat well" and showed a "good eye at the plate."
Rocks Baseball first baseman Royce Inge (2013 Kennesaw Mountain HS, Ga.) went 2-for-3 with a single and a solo home run, showing "very good power." According to his scout notes, Inge stayed back and threw his hands well.
RHP Stephen Kloser (2013 Chapel Hill HS, Ga.) also impressed at the plate, "staying back well" and "hitting the ball hard to the gaps." Kloser also fielded his position well, according to his scout notes.

Four East Cobb batters recorded two hits in a 11-1 win. Ray Brooks (2014 Pickens County HS, Ga.), Chad McClanahan (2014 North Cobb HS, Ga.), and Forrest Bramlett (2013 Gilmer County HS, Ga.) all went a perfect 2-for-2. Brooks and Bramlett tallied a single and a double, while McClanahan managed two singles.
Richard Jackson (2014 Woodward Academy, Ga.) also posted two hits, going 2-for-4 with two singles and a RBI.

Marietta, Ga. — Artrmis Kadkhodaian (2013 Starr's Mill HS, Ga.) went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run Thursday morning during the BL Bombers' 10-4 win over the Homeplate Chilidawgs on Field No. 5 at the East Cobb Complex.
According to his scout notes, Kadkhodaian, a 5-8, 149-pound shortstop for the Chilidawgs, showed good hands and a good swing.
Luke Abrams (2013, Starr's Mill HS, Ga.) also hit well, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two straight singles and a stolen base.
Two BL Bombers also recorded multi-hit games. Juan Givan (2013 John Carrol HS, Ala.) went 2-for-2 with two singles, a walk, and a sacrifice bunt, and Jake Bywalski (2013 Thompson HS, Ala.) went 2-for-3 with a RBI double and a RBI single.
Brody Williamson (2013 Vestavia HS, Ala.) also brought his bat, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a bottom of the third for the Bombers

Marietta, Ga. — Jared Church (2013 Creekview HS, Ga.), Josh Shailer (2013 Dunwoody HS, Ga.), Brad Schwartz (2013 Walton HS, Ga.), and Weston McArthur (2013 Calhoun HS, Ga.) all went yard during Team Rawling's 9-7 win over the East Cobb Indians Thursday morning on Field No. 5 at the East Cobb Complex.
For Team Rawlings, McArthur went a perfect 2-for-2 with a two-RBI home run and a single, while Schwatz went 1-for-3 with a solo homer. First baseman Garrett Guy (2014 Peachtree Ridge HS, Ga.) also tallied a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4 with a pair of singles.
Meanwhile for the Indians, Shailer managed a single and a solo home run to go 2-for-3. Church went 1-for-2 with a solo shot as well. Right fielder Jared Laidlaw (2013 Dunwoody HS, Ga.) also went perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three straight singles and a run scored.
Mitchell Potts (2013 Northview HS, Ga.) went 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored.
