Mike Vasil (2018 RHP, Wellesley, MA) a very impressive, physically built Vasil impressed in batting practice before throwing 91 off the mound later in the day. He showed good bat speed with impressive strength to both right field and up the middle. The ball carried well off of his barrel and got his hands through the zone with intent.
Dylan Melody (2018 1B, Andover, MA) showed a good combination of athleticism and present physicality with strength and room to fill out He got his hands on plane well with some length through the zone with a very quick barrel. He got consistent hard contact to all fields with good lower half involvement.
Colby Burke (2020 3B, West Barnstable, MA) started with a toe tap timing mechanism and torqued well through his hips. His hands worked through the zone well and looked to drive with good jump off the barrel to his pull side.
Brian Kelly (2018 OF, Summit, NJ)-The lean, athletic Kelly started with an elastic hand set and deeper hip coil. He fired them well, generating good torque with good impact to the gaps. He showed a line drive swing plane with quick hands through the zone.
Dillon Lifrieri (2018 OF, Wilton, CT) possess a highly athletic frame with a line drive swing plane and good bat speed. Created good torque and leverage with his lower half hitting a home run working very well through the ball.
Ben Rounds (2019 OF, Milton, MA) showed a very quick swing through the zone from the left side with good bat speed and a line drive swing plane. The ball carried off his barrel well with a positive entry angle into the zone, and impressive feel for timing.
Bailey Mikule (2018 OF, Boylston, MA) impressed with a quick, compact swing path and good intent working the ball up the middle with a positive launch angle. Generated good bat speed with barrel tip and made consistent, hard contact.
Will Jennings (2018 OF, Mountainside, NJ) started narrow off the plate with a leg kick timing mechanism and showed a line drive swing plane with a positive hand entry into the swing. Got to all fields with his best contact coming up the middle working through the ball.
Mark Place (2018 C, South Glastonbury, CT) showed very impressive contact to all fields during workouts. Showed good bat speed, with impressive line drive contact, and a short, compact swing getting the barrel to the baseball.
Tyler Sullivan (2018 OF, Canton, MA) created carry off of his barrel working well through his lower half with jump to all fields. Showed quickness in his hands with a barrel that came through the zone well.
Joseph Messina (2019 MIF, Brookline, NH) was a switch hitter who showed very well from the right side with more fluidity and consistent plane through the zone. The ball carried well to pull side showing quickness with his hands and barreled up the ball well.
Jackson Emus (2019 RHP, Hopedale, MA) another switch-hitter, Emus showed best from the left side with a barrel that worked well through the zone with a line drive swing plane. Made hard contact to the pull side with a lower hand set and torque through his trunk.
Nathaniel Carminucci (2018 C, Somers, NY) came closed well with an active barrel and a line drive swing through the zone. Got to all fields and showed his best power to the opposite field gap with strength and leverage in his swing.
Jackson Clark (2018 3B, Birmingham, AL) created good bat speed with whip through the zone and drove the ball well to left field. Worked well through the ball with quickness in his swing and carry off the barrel.
Brian Craven (2018 SS, Hingham, MA) the switch-hitting shortstop impressed from both sides of the plate with quick hands and line drive contact from both sides. Torqued well through his hips and repeated his swing very well.
James Dillon (2019 3B, Sudbury, MA) started with a simple stride to the ball with a line drive swing plane and very consistent barrel. The ball came off easy with very quick hands and he showed the ability to match plane well.
Joshua Gruenberg (2019 OF, Andover, MA) used a deeper hand load, but had the hand quickness to get through the ball well. Had a short, compact swing through the ball with explosive hands and impressive contact finding the barrel on all swings.
Tyler Guadagno (2018 3B, Monroe, NY) showed a very active barrel during the workouts with leverage and good hand speed through his swing. Loads of intent in his swing to drive the ball and created leverage with his lower half and the ability to get pull side.
Danny Serretti (2018 SS, Berkeley Heights, NJ) turned in one of the most impressive rounds of the day as a switch-hitter who would have stood out from either side. Hit a home run from the left side with a leverage swing out front and good bat speed. Was slightly more fluid from the right side with more of an all fields approach and good carry.
Brian Hart (2018 OF, Saratoga Springs, NY) created good bat speed with a bit of a longer swing, but it got through well hitting a home run during the workout. Created leverage with his best contact coming pull side and created good backspin.
Sean McGivern (2019 C, Stoughton, MA) started open with a simple, short to ball approach with carry off the barrel to all fields. Showed his best contact to the middle of the field with a gap-to-gap swing and showed bat speed.
Avery Cook (2019 1B, Utica, NY) another very projectable young player with the ability to create impact off the barrel. Used a simple stride to the ball with his loudest contact come to the opposite field gaps with good bat speed.
Derek Smith (2019 SS, Arundel, ME) showed good hand speed at the plate with impressive barrel to all parts of the field. Fired his hips with intent to the ball and created carry off the barrel with jump.
Griffin Watson (2018 SS, Falmouth, ME) created good leverage at the plate working the ball to all fields with bat speed that plays. Showed power potential to the opposite field with consistent impact off the barrel.
Nick Heyer (2018 OF, Sandwich, MA) let the ball travel deeper with a line drive swing plane and positive hand entry into the swing. Hands got through the ball, slightly dipping his front shoulder and showed the ability to create backspin.
Tristan Latham (2019 C, North Andover, MA) showed good strength in his frame and drove the ball well with jump off the barrel. He worked the ball with a gap-to-gap approach with a swing that continued to get better throughout the round.
