Drew Bianco (2018 SS, Oxford, MS) started with a wider base with an elastic hand load swinging with a line drive plane through the zone and good bat speed. Athleticism from the field shows up in the batter’s box working well to the ball with developing strength and a consistent hit-to-all-fields approach.
Cory Acton (2018 SS, Fort Lauderdale, FL)showed very impressive bat speed with consistent barrel feel and line drive ability. Creates leverage with good lower half usage and bat speed with quick hands through the zone and a consistent line drive plane.
Trevor Kniskern (2018 SS, Lighthouse Point, FL) fires his hips to the ball showing off his athleticism and feel for hitting. Showed impressive bat speed working all fields with a line drive approach and really consistent hand placement path.
Andrew Lee (2018 OF, Boynton Beach, FL) has very elastic hands to start his swing with good bat speed and leverage created by incorporating his lower half. Leg lift trigger into the ball with raw strength and good plane showing jump off the barrel.
Triston Casas (2019 3B, Pembroke Pines, FL) came in as the #1 ranked player in the 2019 class and put on a loud display at the plate. Showed the big bat speed and strength driving balls to all fields with power. Should even improve with age and continued feel for hitting.
Connor Scott (2018 OF, Tampa, FL) started with a deeper hand load with excellent plane through the zone and showed more and more lift moving through the round. Good bat speed with explosive hands to the ball that reached the waning track in left field.
Estani Castillo (2017 OF, Orlando, FL) stood out as a 14-year-old player from the Dominican showed off high level bat speed and torque with quick wrists. Drove the ball with ease, creating lots of leverage with impressive raw power to his pull side. Put several balls off the monster with relative ease.
Adrian Hernandez (2017 OF, Santo Domingo, SD), a fellow Dominican outfielder, showed exceptional bat speed as well with a slightly more line drive swing plane through the zone. Fired well through his hips with good power to all fields.
Alexandro Bello (2018 SS, Hialeah, FL) had an elastic hand start with a line drive swing plane. Worked exceptionally well to the ball with a good weight shift that will see his power improve with strength. Worked all fields with a really simple, rhythmic swing.
Jarred Kelenic (2018 OF, Waukesha, WI) put together one of the more impressive rounds of both groups. Really good strength and athletic that attacked the ball with good bat speed and torque from his lower half. Made very impressive contact to all fields with well above average bat speed.

Joe Gray Jr (2018 OF, Hattiesburg, MS) is an electric athlete and we got to see that athleticism during his round of batting practice Monday afternoon. He showed off loose wrists to his swing and was able to create high level bat speed rather easily with hard and loud contact coming off the barrel.
Miko Rodriguez (2018 OF, Ada, MI) ran a 6.86 and threw 95 mph from the outfield but proved he wasn’t done yet as he left an impression with his righthanded swing too. He incorporated his physical strength into the swing, generating hard line drive contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field pretty consistently.
Aaron Sabato (2018 SS, Rye Brook, NY), another uncommitted yet highly impressive bat, took a very consistent and loud round of batting practice. The bat path is direct and there’s plenty of hand speed, two ingredients that helped result in hard leveraged contact off the Green Monster.
Alec Sanchez (2018 2B, Jacksonville, FL) has been long known on the prospect circuit for his lefthanded stroke and Monday afternoon he showed some juice that he hasn’t necessarily shown in the past. There’s plenty of balance to the swing and the feel for the barrel is evident with the ball jumping off at the point of contact today.
Alek Thomas (2018 OF, Chicago, IL) is one of the highest ranked uncommitted bats in the country and it was easy to see why he’s so highly regarded. He loads his weight very well and showed extremely loose hands with plenty of present carry of the barrel to the pull side and he even showed off strength to the opposite field.
Will Banfield (2018 C, Lawrenceville, GA) is an ultra-loose catcher who also shows quick hands at the plate with sound rhythm to his swing. The strength is as evident in the bat as it is in his arm (80 mph from behind plate) as he launched 3 home runs into the net on the replica Green Monster.
Jacob Herbert (2019 C, Lakeland, FL) is one of the younger players in attendance as he’s just a 2019 graduate, though he’s already committed to the Florida Gators. The swing is very simple and he does a nice job of repeating it while showing plenty of strength off the barrel when he gets his arms extended.
Brandon Howlett (2018 3B, Lakeland, FL) took the loudest and most consistent round the entire day and then carried the momentum into game action. Another Florida State commit, Howlett shows an easy and very repeatable swing with plenty of quickness and strength as well as an advanced feel for the head of the barrel.
Tyler Callihan (2019 SS, Neptune Beach, FL) is another 2019 graduate who made an impression with the bat. A lefthanded hitter, Callihan showed nice balance to his swing with a leg lift trigger and uncoiled well into contact with extension out front and quickness to his hands.
Nolan Gorman (2018 SS, Glendale, AZ) has incredibly fast hands from the left side of the plate and showed plenty of fluidity to the barrel with balance in his swing. The Arizona commit was able to create hard leverage at the point of contact with big jump coming to the pull side.
Elijah Cabell (2018 OF, Winter Park, FL) immediately grabbed everybody’s attention with his first swing of the round, clearing the wall in dead center field for a majestic blast. The bat speed is easy to see as he incorporates his physical strength well into his swing and continued to the hit the ball hard with regularity.
Mason Denaburg (2018 C, Merritt Island, FL) is a University of Florida commit and he showed off his skills at the plate as well after performing well behind the plate during the drills portion. He uses his long frame well to create leverage which helps power the ball hard off the barrel with nice carry.
