Following players stood out during their BP Session.

Jackson Campbell (2017 C, Russellville, KY) showed good power to all fields with good quick hands and bat speed.  Big pop to right center field.

Andrew (Drew) Millas (2016 C, Swansea, IL) switch hitting catcher with good bat speed from both sides of plate.  Consistent line drive swing plane and approach.  Gap to gap power potential.

Brett Vosik (2016 3B, Omaha, NE) big strong build, line drive plane with good bat speed and present strength.  Showed raw pull power.

Tyler Wood (2019 C, Radcliff, KY) strong build, leg lift trigger to a line drive swing plane, shows good potential at plate.

Also mixed in 74 MPH change up with late life.   Worked fastball at 80-82 topping at 84.

Pierce Blohowiak (2018 C, Neenah, WI) showed a solid line drive swing plane with a mid field approach.  Hit consistent hard line drives up middle.  Has present Athleticism.

Kellen Sarver (2017 C, Champaign, IL) showed raw power at the plate with a line drive swing plane.  Ball jumped when centered.  Has present bat speed.

Zyon Avery (2018 C, Indianapolis, IN) has a strong athletic build, present strength in swing.  Has big power potential, ball really jumped during batting practice and consistently squared balls up during live action.

The following players stood out during batting practice at the Pitcher Catcher Showcase in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Jeffrey Holtz (2018 C, Hartland, WI) strong athletic build, line drive swing plane with good extension and contact.

Cipriano Primicias (2016 C, Toronto, ON) hits from a square stance, consistently gets the barrel to the ball with good bat speed and extension.  Ball really jumped off barrel.

Kane Thornton (2017 C, Conway, AR) line drive swing plane with good barrel control.  Showed good bat speed.

Tyler Roeder (2016 SS, Cedar Rapids, IA) lean athletic build.  Shows good hands at plate with a line drive swing plane.  Ball comes off barrel hard.  Continues to get better each time we see him.

Nate Brown (2016 RHP, Hartland, WI) the Florida Commit did not disappoint on the mound.  With a Strong Athletic build he ran his fastball up to 91, consistently sitting in the 88-90 range.  Also showed a tight slider at 81 and good feel for a change up at 75.

Osvaldo Berrios Flores (2017 RHP, Juncos, PR) has lean build with plenty of room to fill out.  Arm works well, sits in 82-83 range topping at 84 with his fastball.  Mixed in slider at 74.  Shows command to both sides of the plate and stays low in zone.  Has idea how to pitch.

Jarred Wood (2017 RHP, Cedar Rapids, IA) big strong build, high 3/4 arm slot from a full arm circle in back.  Fastball topped at 86. Mixes in sharp curveball with good depth at 72-75 MPH.  Shows solid feel for change up with good sink and run.  Does good job keeping arm and body speed up throwing change up.  Best change ups were in 75-77 range.

Mixed in curveball and change to go along with fastball.  Has good upside on mound.

Sam Wibbels (2019 RHP, Hastings, NE) is a young athletic pitcher, has room to fill out and add strength to frame.  Fastball is 84-86 with riding life.  Ball comes out clean.  Fastball gets on hitters quickly.  Showing feel for curveball that is developing.   Flashed change up with good arm side run.  A young arm that should be followed closely over the next few years.
