Texas Orange vs Navy Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the Northeast Underclass showcase game between Texas Orange and Navy Teams.

Brad Marchetti (2016, RHP, Weliesley, MA) pitched four innings with his fastball topping out a 83, he also showed a 12/6 curveball with good depth.  He also showed a nice line drive swing plane with a ball exit speed of 90 on a triple to CF.

Danny Cooke (2018, C, Westwood, MA) had a good day at the plate with 3 singles in 4 trips to the plate, he has  a nice line drive swing plane.

Henry Ennen (2016, RHP/OF, Boston College, MA) had a better day than Cooke going a perfect 4 for 4 at the plate and scored a run.  Showed a quick bat and knowledge of the strike zone.

Scott Holzwasser (2016, MIF, Lincoln-Sudbury, MA) used his speed on the bases to steal 3 bags.

Joe Miller (2018, OF, LaSalle, PA) went 2 for 4 at the plate with a simple mid field approach. 

Logan Kellerman (2018, C/2B, St Joseph, NJ) and Patrick Webler (2016, C, Brooklime, MA) each had a hit.

Michael Siani (2018, OF, William Penn Charter, PA) had an impressive outing on the mound striking out 3 in in his lone inning of work.  Has fastball topped at 82.  His body projects well.

Brendan Kates (2016, C, Duxbury, MA) showed big power at the plate with a double and long home run making hard consistent contact.

Brendan Conley (2016, OF/2B, Bishop Hendricken, RI) went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and stole 2 bases.

Neil Powell (2016, MIF, Portsmouth HS, RI) went 1 for 3 with a double.

Alex Beattie (2016, RHP, St Pius X, ON Canada) Justin Emond (2016, MIF, St Thomas Aquinas, ON Canada), Tim Woodford (2016, RHP/1B, Hauppauge, NY) and Jonah Booker (2017, C, Shaker, NY) all had a hit.
Maroon vs White Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the Northeast Underclass game between the Maroon and White teams.

Leif Bigelow (2018, RHP, Brattleboro SR, VT) threw four innings and struck out 2 with his fastball topping at 77 and mixed in a 68 MPH curveball and 67 change up.  He also collected a hit.

Nate Wolf (2017, 1B Buckingham Browns Nichols, MA) had a good day at the plate going 2 for 3 and a home run to right field.

Justen Voghel (2016, C/1B, Concord, MA) had a hit, but his loudest contact was right at the short stop which registered 87 off the bat.

Brian Doherty JR (2016, INF, Bilerica Memorial, MA) and Cameron O'Toole (2017, C/2B, Grafton Memorial Senior, MA) each had 1 hit.

Brett Tivnan (2016, OF/RHP, IMG Academy, MA) threw two innings striking out 3 with a fastball that topped at 85 and good downhill plane.  He had good feel for a sharp 11/5 curveball with depth.  

Quintin Ivy (2016, OF/RHP, Caesar Rodney, DE) has an easy arm action and worked to both sides of the plate with his fastball that topped at 82.  He struck out 4 in 2 innings of work.  He also went 2 for 3 at the plate with a triple and run scored using a line drive swing plane to make solid contact.

Christian Candelario Romero (2016, RHP/MIF, East Longmeadow, MA) had a hit, run batted in and stole a base.





















































Cardinal vs Kelly Green Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the Cardinal vs Kelly Green game in the Northeast Top Prospect Showcase.

Michael McNally (2015, RHP, Catholic Memorial, MA) was up to 82 on his fastball with feel for a 65 MPH curveball.  The 6'2 McNally struck out 5 in 3 innings of work.

Edward Meizels (2015, OF, King and Low Heywood Thomas School, CT) went 1 for 2 with 2 runs batted in showing good barrel control in the hitting zone.

Seamus Curran (2015, 1B/C, Agawam, MA) smoked a double down the right field line, he has strength in his swing.

Luke Dawson (2015, OF/RHP, Westhill, CT) threw 1 inning striking out 2 topping at 85 with his fastball, he also had a hit at the plate.

Eric Hawes, (2015, 3B, Staples, CT) and Brian Wowk (2015, SS, Maxwell Heights SS, ON Canada) all had 1 hit for the Kelly Green Team.

Connor Bradley (2015, LHP, South Burlington, VT) struck out 5 in 3 innings of work topping at 80.

Joe Mercadante (2015, OF/LHP, Agawam HS, MA) the LIU Brooklyn commit pitched 1 ining striking out 2 and topping at 86 with his fastball.  He also had 2 hits including a doulbe.

Liam Scafariello (2015, OF/1B, Southington, CT) has good feel for running the bases, stealing 2 bags, he also uses his hands well driving a double down the left field lie.

John Carrigan (2015, 1B/LHP/OF, Catholic Memorial, MA) went 2 for 3 with an run batted in, his speed plays as one of his hits was an infield single.

Aron Fried (2015, SS, Ossining, NY) had a double in scored a run, he also stole a base.


Steel vs Red Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the game between the Steel and Red team of the Northeast Underclass Showcase.

Nick Borek (2016, RHP, Charles W Baker, NY) started on the mound and showed a quick arm action with his fastball topping at 87 with arm side run.  He also mixed in a 12/6 curveball at 73.

Jordan Art (2017, OF/2B, Lakeland HS, PA) went 2 for 4 at the plate showing a good swing and barrel control.

Michael DeFusco (2017, 3B/MIF, East Greenwhich, RI) had 2 doubles and  a run scored showing gap to gap power.

Rob Griswold (2016, MIF, Jonathan Law, CT) went 2 for 3 and 2 stolen bases with a line drive swing plane.

Jason Bean (2017, 3B/MIF, Middleborough, MA) also had a hit.

Nick Paasch (2016, RHP, Tolland, CT) has a projectable frame, his fastball was up to 83, he struck out 8 in 4 innings of work. he also went 2 for 4 with a stolen base at teh plate.

Justin Gist (2016, 1B/OF, Bishop Hendricken, RI) went 3 for 4 with a run scored showing good barrel control at the plate.

Nate Carney (2016, C/1B, Lancaster NY) had 2 singles in the game.

Liam McGill (2016, C, South Kingstown, RI) showed good pop off the barrel with an exit speed of 91.

Ben Closson (2016, C/1B, Lancaster, NY), Rahul Prince (2016, 3B, St Joseph, NY), David Stirpe (2018, INF, Hilton HS, NY) and Zach Stevens (2017, 1B, Lexington, MA) all had 1 hit for the Steel Team.
Black vs Columbia Blue Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out in the Northeast Top Prospect Showcase game between the Black and Columbia Blue Teams.

JJ Bleday (2016, LHP, Titusville HS, PA) started the game off and showed good feel for pitching and all 4 pitches.  His fastball topped at 87 and showed a sharp late Curveball, he mixed in a slider at 80 and a good change up also at 80, the Vanderbilt commit struck out 4 in 2 innings of work.

Jake Nelson (2015, RHP/C, Hopkinton HS, NH) folllowed Bleday on the mound, his fastball topped out at do with a hard downhill angle.  Has feel for  pitches as he also mixed in a sharp curveball at 76 and a change up at 79.  Very high talent on the mound.

Matt Fogarty (2015, LHP, Millis HS, MA)  misses bats, pitching 3 innings striking out 7.  He also showed a good curveball with late break.  He also had a hit with a hard line drive single.

Brooks Parker (2015, RHP, Deerfield Academy, MA) spotted his fastball very well, which topped at 83, he also showed good curveball depth that was up to 66.

Michael Ferrara (2015, OF, Oliver Ames HS, MA) went 2 for 4 in the day showing a good mid field approach.

Christopher Hyland (2015, INF/OF, Holderness, NH) went 2 for 5 at the plate  making hard contact with good bat control.

Teddy Beaudet (2016, C, New Hampton, NH) went 2 for 4 with a double and run scored, he showed the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field.

Jordan Diaz (2015, 3B/OF, Marist, NJ), and  RJ Hall (2015, 1B/RHP, Hotchkiss, MA) each collected a hit for the Columbia Blue Team.

Peter Rosetti (2015, RHP, Canterbury HS, CT) started and went 3 inning striking out 5 showing the ability to miss bats with his fastball that topped at 80.

Liam Munshi (2015, RHP, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, ON Canada) has good depth on his curveball and topped at 83 with his fastball.

Derek Balbierz (2015, RHP, Franklin TWP, NJ)  struck out 4 in 3 innings of work with a fastball that topped at 84, he also flashed a solid curveball at 71.

Anthony Meduri (2015, OF/RHP, St Augustine Preparatory, NJ) struck out 2 in 1 inning of work with a live fastball that was up to 86.

Trevor Allen (2015, 1B/3B, Dennis-Yarmouth Reg, MA) continued to swing the bat well with a hard single.

Alexander DeVos (2015, OF, Christ the King, ON Canada) went 2 for 4 with a double and run scored, making solid contact with a mid to opposite field approach.

Michael Eberle (2015, SS, The Governor's Academy, NH) went 2 for 3 with a double, has ability to drive through the ball and flashed gap to gap power potential

David Nelson (2015, C/3B/1B, John Stark Regional, NH) went 2 for 3 with a long double off the LCF fence, ball really jumped off his bat.

Irvin E Cespedes (2015, SS, Roy C Ketcham, NY) and Cameron Reid (2015, Roy C. Ketcham, NY) each had a hit for the Black Team.
Purple vs Royal Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the Purple vs Royal game of the Northeast Underclass showcase

Frank Vesuvio (2016, OF/RHP, Byram Hills, NY) has a fast loose arm action and his fastball topped at 88, he threw 1 inning and struck out one.  He also showed good bat control with a double.

Jensen Lapoint (2016, C/1B, Cheverus, ME) stuck out 2 in an inning of work working down in the zone with a fastball that topped at 84.  He also collected a hit.

Brian Craven (2017, SS, St Sebastians School, MA), Colby Emmertz (2018, C/RHP, Falmouth HS, ME) and Conor Moriarty (2016, SS/OF, WEst Springfield, MA) all collected 1 hit.

Anthony Videtto (2016, 1B/OF/RHP, Silver Lake Reg, MA) threw 1 inning and struck out all 3 batters he faced topping at 82.  He has a projectable build and showed good depth on his curveball that was up to 71.  He also had a hit and scored a run.

Adam Pilachowski (2016, 3B, South Hadley, MA) went 2 for 3 on the day showing good balance and swing plane.

Gregory Kay (2016, LHP/1B, South Kingstown, RI) also went 2 for 3 with an RBI with a smooth simple line drive swing plane.

Ethan Hebard (2016, C, North Attleboro, MA) Dylan Presnal (2017, RHP/IF, Deerfield Academy, MA) and Christopher Romero (2016, SS, Oliver Ames HS, MA) all collected a hit for the Royal Team.

Dark Green vs Gold Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the Dark Green and Gold teams in the morning game of the Northeast Top Prospect Showcase.

Rayne Supple (2015, RHP, Champlain Valley, VT) the Wake Forest commit pitched 3 innings topping at 85 with is fastball, he has a loose easy arm action with good extension.  Commands both sides of the plate with his fastball.  He also had  a triple in the 3rd inning.

Jimmy Titus (2016, SS?RHP, East Catholic HS, CT) is listed as a primary INF, but showed off his arm on the mound topping out at 89 with life.  Has very quick arm and showed a tight slider at 75.  He also showed well at the plate going 3 for 4 with a doulbe and run scored, using a solid approach and hitting to all fields.

Ryan Havunen (2015, 3B/1B/OF, Lincoln High School, RI) went 2 for 4 at the plate with a solid line drive single using a mid field approach.

Brett Layman (2015, SS/OF, Ludlow, MA) also went 2 for 4 with a double and triple, the ball carries well off his bat.

Christian Johnson (2015, OF, Arlington, NY) showed a short swing on a double down the line.

Alex Geba (2015, 1B, Oliver Ames HS, MA) went 2 for 4 with a long home run.  Has compact swing with good extension and lift.

Adam Quine (2015, OF, Horace Greeley, NY) showed a nice swing with an opposite field double that carried well.

Logan Greene (OF, East Catholic HS, CT) showed a line drive swing with a double over the centerfielders head.

Andre Marchesseault (2015, MF, Xavier, CT) and Evan Muchnicki (2015, C, Elwood/John Glenn, NY) each collected a hit for the Gold Team.

Anthony DiMeglio (2015, C Darien HS, CT) went 2 for 3 with a double keeping his hands inside the ball.

Drew Dickerson (2015, 3B/C/MIF, St Mary's HS, ON Canada) had a triple and run scored.

Nick Perez (2015, SS, The Hun, NJ) showed good bat speed and an exit speed of 88 on a double to the opposite field gap.

Bryce Ramsay (2016, C/ Northwestern Regional, CT) had a single in the game and showed solid catch and throw skills behind the plate.

Andrew Stutts (2015, RHP, East Catholic, CT) Brendan Welch (2015, LHP/1B, James Peel (2015, OF, Exeter, NH) and Chris Deranian (2015, 2B/OF, Exeter HS, NH) all collected a hit for the Dark Green Team.
Orange vs Vegas Gold Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the morning game between the Orange and Vegas Gold Team.

Thomas Blandini (2016, SS/RHP, Bishop Brady, NH) worked two innings on the mound topping at 82 with his fastball. He also had a hit, RBI and stole 2 bases.

Jonathan Juri (2016, 3B/OF/RHP, Emerson, NJ) went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored, a stolen base and a home run showing a live bat and loud contact, he also pitched 1 inning topping at 81 with his fastball, with a quick arm.

Michael Barrasso (2017, C/1B, St. Dominics, NY) went 2 for 3 at the plate and showed an aggressive approach.

Kyle Trombley (2016, OF, Minnechaug Reg, MA) went 2 for 3 with a run scored and stole a base.  

Johnny Vieira (2016, 1B Nauset Regional, MA) also went 2 for 3 with a run scored. 

Hudson Haskin (2018, SS, Avon Old Farms, NY), Jack Kennedy (2017, RHP/1B/3B, North Hunterdon Regional, NJ) Vinnie Martin (2017, OF/2B, Bergen Catholic, NJ) and Alexander Emilio Vincelli (2016, 1B/3B, Laurier MacDonald, QC Canada) all collected a hit for the Orange Team.

Christopher Newman (2016, Bridgewater-Raynham, MA) started for the Vegas Gold and sat 76-80 topping at 80 with his fastball.

Jackson Olson (2016, SS/RHP New Milford, CT) pitched the final two innings topping at 80 with hsi fastball. He also collected a hit.

Adam Hilal (2016, Our Lady of Lourdes, NY) had an impressive day at the plate going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a triple.  He also drove in a run and scored a run.  Hilal does a good job of creating whip with his bat by staying inside the baseball.

Andrew Milite JR (2016, 1B/3B/C Ional Preparatory, NY)  went 3 for 4 with 3 sincles and a run scored.

Connor Wironen (2017, C/OF, Leominster, MA) showed a good line drive swing plane and was 2 for 4 at the plate with a double.

Anthony Costa (2016, OF, WEst Springfield, MA) Anthony DeSouza (2016, RHP/MIF Maiden Catholic, MA) Clayton Knowles (2016, c/3B/OF, Mckinney, TX), and Mike Griffin (2016, MIF, Bishop Guertin, NH) all collected a hit for the Vegas Gold Team.
Royal vs Red Game Highlights. >>
The following players stood out during the final game on Saturday between the Royal and Red Teams in the Northeast Underclass Showcase.

Reece Maniscalco (2016, RHP, Fairfield Warde, CT) sat 82-84 with his fastball topping at 85.  He struck out 7 in 3 innings of work.  He flashed a plus curveball at 74 with good depth.  

Jason Bean (2017, 3B/MIF, Middleborough, MA) showed a nice line drive swing plane with a quick bat.  He had a double and run scored.

Matt Graber (2017, MIF/OF, Dexter HS, MA) is short to the ball with a quick swing, he had a double and run scored.  

Kevin Wietsma (2016, C/1B, Byram Hills, NY) went 2 for 3 and stole a base.  

Connor Bamford (2016, C/1B, King Low Heywood Thomas, NY), Michael DeFusco (2017, 3B/MIF, East Greenwich, RI) James Peko (2016, RHP/OF, Bergen Catholic, NJ)and Rob Griswold (2016, MIF, Jonathan Law, CT) all had 1 hit.

Jason Johndrow (2016, RHP, Silver Lake Reg, MA) threw four innings and striking out 6 with a fastball that topped at 85.  He also showed a tight slider at 75.

Dylan Presnal (2017, RHP, Deerfield Academy, MA) sat in the 79-82 range with his fastball topping at 83.  He also showed a live bat with good leverage in his swing at the plate, he went 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs batted in.

Christopher Romero (2016, SS, Oliver Ames, MA) went 2 for 3 with a run batted in.

Gregory Kay (2016, LHP/1B, South Kingstown, RI) went 2 for 2 making solid contact at the plate with a good line drive swing.

Ethan Hebard (2016, C, North Attleboro, MA), Max Moss (2016, OF/1B, East Greenwich, RI) Dominic Palma (2016, C, Hilton HS, NY) and Anthony Videtto (2016, 1B/OF, Silver Lake Reg, MA) all had 1 hit at the plate.
Tx Orange vs Steel Game Highlights >>
The following players stood out during the evening game of Texas Orange vs Steel  Teams at the Northeast Underclass Showcase.

Christopher Holcomb (2017, LHP, Nauset Regional HS, MA) was 79-80 topping at 82 with his fastball, he showed good feel for a curveball at 67 and mixed in a 75 MPH change up.  He struck out 8 in 4 perfect innings of work.

Nate Carney (2016, OF, Bristol Eastern, CT) was 3 for 4 at the plate with a run scored and a double, he does a good job staying back and through the ball.

Liam McGill (2016, C, South Kingstown, RI) went 2 for 4 wih a double and run scored, and showed good actions behind the plate.

Rahul Prince (2016, 3B/RHP, St. Joseph, NY) showed good bat control with a hard double down the line.

Nick Paasch (2016, RHP, OF Tolland HS, CT) went 2 for 4 showing a mid field line drive approach.

Zach Stevens, (2017, 1B, Lexington, MA) went 2 for 4 making solid contact with a line drive swing plane.

The following players stood out during the Maroon vs Navy game of the Northeast Underclass Showcase.

Brian Lannino (2016, RHP, Millburn HS, NJ) started for the maroon team and sowed good feel for pitching topping out at 82 and flashing a plus change up at 72.  He struck out 6 in 4 innings of work.

Justen Voghel (2016, OF/RHP, The Rivers, MA) has an online delivery and topped at 82 on the mound and mixed in a 69 MPH 11/5 curveball.  He also had a long home run to left field with a short swing and good extension.

Cameron O'Toole (2017, C/2B, Grafton Memorial Senior, MA) went 2 for 3 with a double and run batted in showing good patients at the plate and a good swing plane.

Sam Shaw (2016, OF, St John's, MA) has a live bat and makes solid contact.

Morgan McSweeney (2016, RHP, Worcester Academy. MA) had an impressive outing on the mound striking out 6 in 3 perfect innings.  His fastball topped out at 88 and sat in the 84-86 range.  The ball got on hitters quickly and had good run.  He showed a 70 MPH curveball and 79 MPH change up.

The following players stood out during the Purple vs Orange game at the Northeast Underclass Showcase.

Brandon Jenkins (2017, RHP, Sterling HS, NJ) continued his impressive weekend on the mound topping at 88 with a fast arm.  HE also mixes in a tight slider and the ball comes out easy. He also had one hit.

Colin Donnelly (2016, LHP, Immaculata, NJ) topped at 81 with his fastball and should good shape to his breaking ball.

Chhany Minton 92016, OF/IF, Brookline, MA) has a short swing to the ball and had a double.  

Colby Emmertz (2018, C Falmouth, NE), Luke Tressy (2016, INF, Westminster, CT), and Jake Walker (2016, LHP/1B, Milton HS, MA) all collected a hit for the Purple Team.

The following players stood out during the Kelly Green vs Gold Team game.

Joe Setticase (2015, RHP, Saddle Brook HS, NJ) arm works well with some quickness, he topped at 82.

Selah Gabrielli-Dalomba (2015, RHP, Amherst Regional, MA) has a quick arm  with a long quick arm action, his fastball topped at 85, he mixed in a short breaking curveball at 76.  He also collected a hit and scored a run.

Logan Greene (2015, OF/RHP/1B, East Catholic HS, CT) went 2 for 3 on the day with a run scored.

The following players stood out during the 8 AM game of the Northeast Top Prospect showcase between the Black and Cardinal Team.

Nicholas Arre (2015, LHP, Taconic Hills, NY) pitched 3 innings striking out 5 with a 3 pitch mix.  His fastball topped at 83 with good cutting action.  His curveball showed good depth at 67 and showed a developing curveball at 70. Arre was also 2 for 3 at the plate.

Griffin Sanford (2015, LHP, St. Ignatuis of Loyola, ON Canada) topped at 85 with his fastball working 3 innings, he also mixed in a 12/6 curveball at 74.

Greg Holler (2015, RHP, Hopkinton, MA) started and struck out 6 in 3 innings of work, his fastball topped at 80 with good arm side run.  He used a tight slider at 73 as a strike out pitch.
