Zach Grech (2016 RHP, Las Vegas, NV) topped out at 84mph on his fastball this afternoon to go with his curveball at 64mph and his changeup at 73mph. Grech pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with lots of life on his fastball and a good change that he misses bats with.
Jackson Williams (2016 C, Latta, SC) also topped out at 84mph on his fastball to go with his curveball at 63mph and his slider at 67mph. Williams has a loose arm action and throws strikes with all his pitches.
Keagan Downs (2017 SS, Pleasanton, TX) had 2 hits on the day for the Dark Green team. Downs has a nice easy swing with a sound approach and keeps his hands inside the ball.
Carter King (2016 RHP, Mount Airy, GA) also had 2 hits on the day. King has a level swing with an aggressive approach at the plate.
Josiah Armstrong (2016 OF, Richmond, VA) was 2-2 on the day for the Dark Green team. Armstrong has a line drive swing plane hitting the ball to all fields. Armstrong also flashed some good instincts in the OF with a great catch.
Matt Trzeciak (2016 RHP, Brandon, FL) topped out at 85mph today on his fastball with a changeup at 78mph and a curveball at 68mph. Trzeciak pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with good downhill life and gets swings and misses with all 2 of his pitches.
Alex Kachler (2016 1B, Lithia, FL) had 3 hits in the game for the Col. Blue team. Kachler makes consistent solid contact at the plate and hits the ball to all fields.
Triston Campbell (2016 OF, Cumming, GA) had 2 hits in the game for the Col. Blue team. Campbell is a top of the order with good speed and is aggressive on the bases.
