Tucker Pate (2016 C, Knoxville, TN) went 2-3 with two stolen bases, an RBI, and a run scored.  Pate is a gamer with a quick bat and a short stroke at the plate.  He showed strength in his swing with some power potential.  Pate pitched two innings of no hit baseball with three Ks.  He has a large, strong frame with short arm action and a tight release.  Pate hides the ball well with a compact delivery.  He has a heavy 89 MPH fastball with late life to go with a 71 MPH 10/4 curve with good potential.  His out pitch is an 80 MPH late breaking slider with some serious bite.

Payton Dycus (2016 RHP, Acworth, GA) threw four innings with two Ks while giving up no hits.  Dycus has a lean, medium frame with a steady, slow tempo.  He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and stays online in his delivery.  Dycus throws strikes and keeps the ball down in the zone.  He pitches to contact effectively, getting guys to ground out and pop up with good location on three pitches.  Dycus topped out at 76 MPH on his fastball to go with an 11/5 breaking curve ball at 64 MPH.  He maintains his arm speed well when throwing his 64 MPH change up.

Zach Richardson (2016 RHP, Mooresville, NC) pitched four innings and racked up six Ks.  Richardson is lean with an athletic, medium frame.  He throws easy from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action.  He's aggressive with his pitches and has a quick tempo.  Richardson topped out his fastball at 84 MPH with a 72 MPH curve.  His out pitch is a solid, straight change up at 76 MPH.  He had batters running after the change up.

Richard Gregory (2016 OF, Gaffney, SC) racked up three Ks in two innings of work while giving up no hits.  Gregory has a large, athletic frame with a strong lower half.  He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm action and tight release.  He showed solid balance in an online delivery while attacking hitters with three pitches.  Gregory hit 85 MPH on his quickest fastball with a short, late breaking curve ball at 73 MPH.  His fastball showed some cut action as well.

James Noblin (2016 1B, Ocean Springs, MS) crushed a home run in a 2-4 day at the plate.  Noblin has a large, strong frame with a strong back side and strong wrists.  The ball jumps off his bat with big power potential.  Noblin smoked a homer in the very first at bat of the game and it got out in a hurry.

Christian (Taylor) Goodwin (2016 C, Warrior, AL) went 3-3 on the day with two runs scored and three stolen bases.  Goodwin has a strong, athletic build on a large frame with a very strong lower half.  He has an A-C bat path with quick hands and strong wrists.  Goodwin has great speed, running a 6.78 in the 60.  He is an aggressive base runner and plays with a purpose.

Landon Cooper (2016 SS, Leesburg, GA) went 2-3 with two runs scored, an RBI, and three stolen bases.  Cooper has an athletic, lean medium frame with a short, fluid stroke.  He is patient at the plate with a good eye for strikes, definitely a lead off type hitter.  Cooper hits from both sides of the plate with surprising pull power from the right side shown on a double off the left field wall.  He showed his aggressive base running when he stole second and then third on two consecutive pitches.

Tyrik Jones (2016 OF, Lithonia, GA) went 1-3 with an RBI triple and a run scored.  Jones has a medium, athletic frame with a strong back side.  He has a nice balanced swing with a quick bat and quick hands.  He barreled up a fastball and the ball jumped off the bat into the LCF gap for a triple.  Jones has great speed as well, running a 6.62 in the 60.
