Storm Parish (2015 RHP, Mendham, NJ) showed off a powerful, lively righty arm in his four inning stint, topping out at 85 mph and living consistently at 81-84. He showed sinking action on the fastball and command of his secondaries. He retired all 12 batters he faced in order and struck out 5, as he cruised through a dominant outing.
Shawn Quibell (2015 3B, Spotswood, NJ) took a high pitch and spun on it in his first at-bat, lacking a line driving over third base for a single, showing good bat speed in the process. He later singled again to left field.
Matthew Kooker (2015 SS, Princeton Junction, NJ) singled sharply up the middle for a single in his first at-bat.
Michael Ciullo (2015 1B, Valley Stream, NY) also singled sharply up the middle, staying short and compact to the baseball.
Ryley Davenport (2015 C, Oshawa, ON) smoked a hard single right through the third baseman, generating some of the day's loudest contact.
Ben McKenna (2015 RHP, Whippany, NJ) tossed four innings, allowed one run and struck out three. He showed a good feel for his curveball and topped out at 79.
Marc Galvan (2015 RHP, Brielle, NJ) also tossed four innings, allowing three hits and striking out three in the process. He lived at 79-83 mph with his fastball and showed excellent command of his breaking ball.
Kyle Rogers (2015 1B, Hazleton, PA) had one of the day's big swings, lining a double hard into the right center field gap.
Steve Hewa (2015 C, Galloway, NJ) had two quality at-bats on Saturday, including one that resulted in a hard double down the left field line.
Luke Schaffer (2015 3B, Fallston, MD) picked up two singles, including a hard single to right field.
