The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed South Carolina outfielder Evan Marzilli, an eighth-round pick to the organization for $132,900, which is full pick value for his slot of No. 273.
Marzilli, a very athletic outfielder for the Gamecocks, was an outstanding pick for the Diamondbacks.
