2012 Iowa Spring League

4/28/2012 2:00:45 PM Toran Shahidi (2014 - Ames HS) had two hits including the game winner as Blue came from 7 down in the 7th inning to win 8-7.  Shahidi is a line drive gap to gap type hitter who makes consistent contact.  He's also a good receiver behind the plate.

Mack Mattke (2012 - Xavier HS) and Kellen Yoder (2012 - Iowa City West HS) each had two hits for the Black team.  Mattke put good swings on the ball today squaring up the ball with line drives.  Yoder also put good swings on the ball with solid line drive contact.
