As reported yesterday on Perfect Game's
twitter feed, a scout was at Olympia High School's (Florida) game yesterday and was able to see 2011 PG All-Americans Walker Weickel and Jesse Winker as well as 2014 infielder Nicholas Gordon. Weickel threw easily at 90-94 like he does in just about every appearance we've seen him make over the last 8-10 months to go along with a sharp curveball, while Winker showed his usual polished approach and sweet left-handed swing. Both Weickel and Winker could be taken in the first round of the draft come June, while Gordon could be another 1st rounder two years from now.
