Perfect Game is proud to announce the appointment of Fran Pell as the Great Lakes Regional Director for the Perfect Game Super25 tournament series.
Fran has had a significant impact on the rise of amateur baseball. His long list of awards and recognition include being inducted into the CABA Hall of Fame in 2009, a “Certificate of Recognition” for the “Citizen of the Year Award” from Illinois State Assemblyman Thomas J. Dart, and the “Youth Baseball Service” award from the Pitch and Hit Club. Fran serves as an Executive Board Member and Business and Operations Chair for the Global Baseball Alliance.
Fran and his wife Nancy have been recognized for their positive impact in the community through Youth Sports Events. Together they founded the Northern Illinois Metro League (NIML), which received CABA’s prestigious Presidents Award in 2002. They also own and operate Great Lakes Youth Sports Events (GLYSE).
Nancy was also inducted into the CABA Hall of Fame in 2009. She was unanimously selected as the 2007 recipient of the prestigious Roger Tremaine CABA Person of the Year for her hard work and service-oriented attitude
The Super25 tournament series will bring the Perfect Game experience to new regions and age groups. Super25 will promote baseball as a team sport by requiring consistent rosters from qualifying events through regional tournaments and, ultimately, the Perfect Game Super25 National Championships.
